Former 2W171 here. Worked F-15/A/B/C/D's. Rebuilt every component of the gun system, from the M61A1, drum and UALS many times as well as load/download many times. Probably could still do it today. But my back says no, lol. Didn't have the ABU and suede boots then, they must be a nightmare to keep the grease from showing.

Worked on F-105s, A-7Ds, and F-16Cs and Ds...started in Gun Shop working on the Vulcan gun, then transferred to Weapons Release Shop working on AIM-9 launchers, LAU-129 launchers, TERS, pylons, you name it...for those who may want to know, UALS stands for Universal Ammunition Loading System if I recall correctly.......

I had encounter with fighter jets, the best one fired 2 if these bullets, and they disappeared. It sounded, as if the bullets were fired using a spring or air gun, probably because the fighter bounced back. Helicopter doesn't do this mistake, and the bullet has a harder impact, only the first one. All others are fired weakly. Battleship also has a softer impact, because it does te same, as the fighter jet, pulls back in the water. The tank is the best one, it reminds of the Terminator 2 playground scene, except that chidren love it when the prjectiles disappear. The mvie was wrong.
I saw two different women. One of the brunettes is strong, beautiful and thoughtfully took off her black glasses to see properly in the dark chamber of the gun. The blonde is incapable of this job and would only take off her glasses if protocol told her to. A small mistake in fueling this superweapon has huge consequences.
I would never accept that my daughters do these tiring jobs. These are men’s jobs and for men only. I would like my daughters to do light work around the house. I feel very pained when I see these girls doing these heavy jobs. I feel sorry for them and I hope they see my daughter at home.
