I imagine it’s a whole other form of trauma. Watching someone you live go through any sort of pain/trauma is such a hard and traumatic thing to go through. Colleen had to physically experience it but Erik had to stand there and feel helpless. If you have a partner, I feel like being pregnant is such a journey for BOTH people even if it’s NOT a bad pregnancy so I can’t imagine how difficult it would be to go through a bad pregnancy. I’d also love to hear him speak super in depth about it but I also think he’s said pretty much everything he’s gonna say in various vlogs/podcasts in bits and pieces.

Ugh, this broke my heart, too. It just shows how crazy resilient she is that she endured such awfulness and went on to become who she is today both in her career and in how well she loves her family and friends.

I just want to say that your stance changing is the ultimate sign of personal growth as a compassionate adult. You came to realize that regardless of your personal religion (which is NOT shared with everyone around you) and beliefs have no place in the lives and doings of others. I applaud you both for always using your platform. I’d love for an episode where you go into depth on these bigger topics. I know it’s hard to “waste” your date night on that but I think you have a really great platform to start a conversation with people who might not have someone pose these important questions to them.

Because I feel like your conversations are really insightful and informative. I also feel like none of the people I’m fans of talk about it enough and I think it so important for people with platforms to talk about these things more thoroughly, and why it’s so important to have the discussion even if it’s hard and not “happy”. To Erik- This is the first time I have seen you doing music. It's definitely your thing. The song was interestingly, inspired by a couple lines from your child, and you turned it into a complete song, capturing the original mood and extending it. And, your singing voice held my attention, and your playing showed a lot of energy and good tense of time. You are a very good musician. I never knew this, about you. Instantly, I thought, since all Miranda fans know who you are, why don't you create a 4 song set, and open the Miranda shows? I think that would make your world better, for both of you. Start a new way of living, take the kids on the road with a nanny and assistant. That would be more fun than buying another house- you can do that, ten years from now. I just want to say: i have become a huge fan of Liquid IV thanks to this show. I work a very physically taxing job (archaeologist, on my feet 10-12 hours a day digging and/or monitoring excavations) and Liquid IV has helped me get through the day unlike any other beverage even coffee! To Erik- This is the first time I have seen you doing music. It's definitely your thing. The song was interestingly, inspired by a couple lines from your child, and you turned it into a complete song, capturing the original mood and extending it. And, your singing voice held my attention, and your playing showed a lot of energy and good tense of time. You are a very good musician.
I never knew this, about you. Instantly, I thought, since all Miranda fans know who you are, why don't you create a 4 song set, and open the Miranda shows? I think that would make your world better, for both of you. Start a new way of living, take the kids on the road with a nanny and assistant. That would be more fun than buying another house- you can do that, ten years from now. But you should start performing right away.

I just want to say: i have become a huge fan of Liquid IV thanks to this show. I work a very physically taxing job (archaeologist, on my feet 10-12 hours a day digging and/or monitoring excavations) and Liquid IV has helped me get through the day unlike any other beverage even coffee! Seriously a huge fan and couldnt think about life without it now
Please please please PLEASEEEEE make an album of all the songs you guys have made together! I love it every time there is one, you two sing amazingly together and I would listen to the album all the time! Erik your song is so sick I defo got the Bob Dylan vibes and showed my dad for that reason as we both love his music and your song really reminded me of it! Turning 21 in a few days and realized i have been watching you for half of my life (ahh that’s crazy)! this has been one of my favorite episodes and thank you for speaking about what’s happening in the world right now. it’s extremely disappointing but also refreshing to hear the both of you care so intensely about this topic. I started High School (grade 7 - Australia) in January of the year 2000 .. The year 2000 just screams 'fresh start' after the whole Y2K bug fear etc. I think that was the perfect year to start a brand new schooling experience. 💖
