I use peppermint essential oil to keep them out of my vehicles. Mix 40-50 drops with about a litre of water in a spray bottle and it should keep em away! Just make sure you spray at least once a month
Hey Bill, I don’t know if you have a tractor supply up there near you but they do sell I believe it’s called cab, fresh or something of that nature in the rodent section that will keep rodents out of your car and engine bay. They’re sold in little boxes.

id try epr flush and start using 1 quart of lucius oil stabilizer it'll stop going thru oil during oil changes
