Thank you Sandra, but yes, I skipped the lot. The doctor thinks it's a fungal infection. We came home last night with lots of medication and a device for measuring her blood sugar, and a new tablet for her diabetes. Watch this space!
While in Malta we visit a place called Ta Qali it's a craft village. They sell glass wear, filigree jewellery, all style of ornaments etc. There's two particular shops that sell painted ceramics, which range from tiles, table tops and table wear... you get the gist, beautiful Mediterranean style kitchen wear. The price of some of these things were quite expensive we thought... but then again they were all bespoke. You'd make a fortune Trevor! 😄 I hope Pat gets sorted soon, seems like they may have finally got a handle on what's up... now they'll have to find the right medication. They can see she can't cut back on portion sizes anymore, she's so slim! Take care both of you x
Hope Pat gets sorted out soon. It's a nightmare getting to the bottom of things with health, I know from experience! Just wanted to say as well following on from yesterday's vlog, I sympathize with Pat. I worked at Pinderfields in the 1980s I did 2 years SRN training and used to take washing home for people and I got a dressing down for helping a blind lady with her meals. She wasn't eating so why wouldn't you help. There were other things like that I couldn't get on with, so I left. Glad now I did. Take care both love Chris from Yorkshire xxxx 😊
Pat knows exactly what you are talking about Christine. I have to say that the surgery are really pulling out all stops for Pat, I am delighted with them lately, they really are trying to get to the bottom of her trouble.
I hope Pat issues get sorted soon and then you will be able to go on a jolly to somewhere nice. Also, the impromptu meals out are sometimes enjoyable more so than the planned ones. Take care of yourselves! xx
The doctor thinks it's a fungal infection, and that is what Pat is being treated for now, but she was in pain last night. Pat has a new tablet to get her sugar down too. Thank you for your concern. ❤
Interesting about your time at art school Trevor. I hope Pat gets sorted and they get her onto the right medication that doesn't cause her problems. No joke getting old!! Yes, time goes by far too quickly, January nearly gone already!! See you tomorrow, bye!!
The winds here in Ireland have caused a lot of damage to houses and there are lots of trees down we live in North Wexford and thankfully we don't have any damage however they say there are two more storms coming so fingers crossed we will be ok. Please take care of yourselves thank you for your vedios.
Oh I am loving hearing about your art Trevor and what you were doing Pat...I wonder what has happened to all the work you did Trevor and if there is more of it out there that you don't know about! On another matter Pat - I do hope they get to the bottom of what is going on with you...I wonder if the urine infection that you thought you had has gone into your kidney...that's what happened to my husband and he did end up in hospital where they managed to clear it up. Look after yourselves Pat and Trevor.
There may be drawings and paintings of mine out there that I don't know about, but I did destroy a lot myself. The doctor last night said he thought she had a fungal infection, so that is what she is getting treatment for. Pat was in pain last night.
@@trevorpat-lifeontherun I'm so sorry to hear that Pat is in pain, and I hope they get to the bottom of what is going on. I am sure you ar quietly very worried for Pat but she is a trouper and will pull through, I feel sure.xx
@@kitchenworker446 Pat took two Paracetamol last night and managed to get some sleep. As today progressed she seemed to improve a lot and we have been out with Tracey this afternoon. I have been worried about Pat for some time now, what with the huge loss of weight and her problems, but this patches scheme has been a life saver. It has allowed me to bring all these things to the attention of the right people at the surgery, and they are now focusing on Pat, which really pleases me, and if today is anything to go by, I am very hopeful that my fears are unfounded. Thank you so much for your support. ❤
@ I am so pleased you are feeling more reassured and that Pat is starting to feel a little better...she is such a sweetheart...she does not desreve to be in any pain at all...she is also lucky that you take such good care of her Trevor...you are a credit to the institution of a wonderful marriage.
Those are very kind words. Pat deserves all the devotion I can give her, she is everything to me. It is I who am the lucky man, and it is Pat who is a credit to the institution of marriage.
Wow Trevor, that art work sounds absolutely stunning! So many layers of work and imagination involved. So so sad that you didn't keep those pieces. Do you not have any pictures to show us of this work?
I googled the breadline gallery and yourself and there was some information about the gallery and you. We're you aware of this? Hope Pat gets some treatment soon so you can go off on your travels. It's very frustrating when you want to get away but can't due to health issues.
Sorry to hear Pat is still having health issues. Is her foot problem from her diabetes as my sisters husband has real problems with his feet from diabetes. Have they checked Pats kidney function?
So sorry Pat is still suffering. You’ve probably already thought of this but could it be cystitis. That makes you want to pee a lot and nothing much there. Also it is painful. Seeing the doctors these days is just so hard I remember when I was a kid and even a young mum the doctor would come visit me at home if I was too poorly to go out. Gone are the days 😞

Many vanlifers talk about these things Trevor, about us all being controlled and compartmentalised. Sounds like you worked this one out a long time ago. Thankfully I think we are all starting to wake up.
Oh Pat hopefully you soon get answers and please be open about everything you are feeling as that is a lot of the times how they diagnose illnesses. Trevor you must regret tossing your art work. I have absolutely no talent in art. Love looking at it but my little grandchildren have more art talent then me lol Take care.
👋🏻👋🏻👍👍. Time is flying by …. it is scary …. where has January gone 😃. Another interesting video 👍. Take care, stay safe and well. Judy🇨🇦🇨🇦🍷🍷
Time really does fly, doesn’t it? Thanks for watching, Judy! Hope you're doing well too!
Fascinating art talk how you made your own colours. They can't be in a skip😢. Good luck Pat with the doctor fingers crossed they sort it out.

Thank you for this comment Mary, but I am afraid I have lost my mojo for my art.
Pat was in pain last night after starting her treatment. ❤️
@trevorpat-lifeontherun
I hope she's feeling better soon, it's rotten when you don't feel well x

Yes, I heard that Emer. Not bad over here. I hope you escape the worst of it, and thank you for watching our vlogs.

Ha ha, I bet.
Doc says Pat has a fungal infection. She began her treatment last night, but it caused her pain.
Wow Trevor, that art work sounds absolutely stunning! So many layers of work and imagination involved. So so sad that you didn't keep those pieces. Do you not have any pictures to show us of this work?
I have only one monochrome picture of me at art college working on a big drawing Julia. I can show you that on our next video.

Yes, I know about stuff on line, there's quite a bit isn't there.
I love you too ❤️
Thank you Tracy ❤️
Sorry to hear Pat is still having health issues. Is her foot problem from her diabetes as my sisters husband has real problems with his feet from diabetes. Have they checked Pats kidney function?
Pat has got the lot Helen, the feet thing, kidneys not right, sugar sky high, and a fungal infection to top it off.
@trevorpat-lifeontherun let's hopenthey get her sorted soon. xx

We are at the doctors now Debbie. No Debbie, no regrets.
Did they have dehydrated food packages?
The food in front of you both looked hot. Bubble, bubble etc etc....
That's all tonight. Cheers.
Sorry Barry, not sure what you mean about dehydrated food.
The food was good.
