Regarding Mick, my aunt was better one on one rather than 3 people or more conversing. She was better able to carry on a conversation. She’d go very quiet at times. Mick sounds like he is the same. Love Pat’s shoes 👍. Had to smile when Pat was already frazzled with the glass of water fiasco and then the doctor’s surgery calls while she is in the midst of cleaning up the broken glass and water on the floor and you’re padding around starting to boil the eggs lol, no wonder her blood pressure was high. Isn’t it always the way though …. the phone doesn’t ring until you’re on the toilet or in the middle of doing something 😄🤣😃. Take care, take a deep breath and relax for the rest of the day ❤️❤️. Mick has always led a conversation, a very social bloke, not me, so there are many pregnant silences, which don't bother me. They call us anytime and we have to answer, but we call them and there too busy. I resent it.

Love the shoes Pat, and I really feel for Mick and his wife, my mom had Alzheimer's it was so difficult looking after her as it progressed, it was frustrating to her and frightening for me as I never knew how she was going to g to be from one day to the next, she died in 2021 from Covid, in a way that was a better option than her getting to the point where she didn't know who I was. Everyone is different and I hope Mick copes well with it. Kim x

They're lovely shoes Pat, I like the colour. Timpsons are shite, I had a load of keys cut there, and none of them worked so I had to get my money back. You can't beat a proper cobblers. There's one in Kidderminster luckily amd I got my keys redone there, and they all worked. The doctors are useless. We can only get telephone appointments nowadays. Mine was for 10.50 on Friday and she rang at half 12. I couldn't even go for a wee incase she rang when I was on the bog!😂

Timsons repair shoes and do a good job sometimes you will find them outside bigger super markets they are the nearest you can get to old cobblers most are gone now
I would ask the doctors for a few containers so you always have one. They seem to think you have nothing better to do than to keep running backwards and forwards and as you say it can upset you plans for the day.

It is my belief that we are being culled by those in charge...especially the elderly...this is why is it impossible to get a Dr's appointment, why your prescription is often wrong or cannot be filled...it is why they 'lose' a sample and it has to be repeated...etc etc...conspiracy theory? Maybe but I think it is the truth...sadly.

Absolutely disgraceful how Pat has been treated regarding her treatment. All I can suggest is to complain.. . if you can be bothered that is! They will make it so difficult for you to put a complaint in, that you probably won't want to be bothered. I think the NHS is going down the pan... along with Starmer and all his cronies 🤣
