Notice that he basically never touched the E brake the whole time and still accomplished greater angle than most drifters and had proper speed control. My hat is off to you good sir!
The "pro" drifters drive all drive the same setups. All cars feel almost the same and they are used to only driving those setups.Yes they are very skilled drivers but they don't come close to guys that can rip any car on a backroad.To me that Is a special skill when you can drift with what you got.
Late to the party... but Its the first time I’ve seen this one. Wow. I always know how good your driving skill is, but that entry @ 1:45 gave me goosebumps. Incredible driving as always! Much respect from Canada
WOW (speechless) you know your car way too well!!! The angles you could achieve and the way you throw it around...this is going to sound gaylordish but driving like that is an art!!! And true purist running with the Carb setup i Love it!!
You need to make more videos like this! :D Great work! Love the steering wheel action! Some day I hope to do these things, or try at least, with my Laurel C32 :D
Those feint motions look so angry!!!! So dope. The one dislike was because that person didnt know how to transfer the weight properly during feint and spun the other way.
Professional drifters also use the same techniques he's using. In drifting not every move has be smooth. If your car has serious under steer then weight transferring is important, therefore aggressive turning is somewhat important.
Awesome vid, great skills and nice car! While many prefer high horsepower machines to have fun with, I guess the challenge of making it work really appeals to 86 owners like us :p
i dont really agree, i mean watch it again when it gets near a corner all he dose is throw it to the side and its sideways instantly, hes a good driver and that things was changing direction instantly. also most onboard vids are of total pros normally not using 4AG engines so the sounds and response of the car is totally different.
i just saw this build thread and i would have turbo'ed it instead because even with all that work he did to it, he still has to clutch it like mad to drift in 2nd-3rd gears
@VincentS327 do you personally think this AE86 in the vid was well tuned for drifting? i mean..i love AE86s..but some of them looks to be tuned way better...comes with better sense of power..and it seems to be easier to control..this car seems to be all over the track..or maybe its just the way this guy drives..doesn't seem very smooth to me at all..almost as though he is struggling behind the well..
Sup man, Love your original style.. Just wanted to ask a little on your dampers and spring rates.. Are you running conventional 8f 6r spring rates? rear traction bracket? Thanks man
@nicholastan91 Not everyone wants a car that is easy to drift with the power to just press the throttle and pulling the e brake, many AE86 purists like to drive the car hard and punish it to get the drift to work, it makes it much more satisfying to drive.
ive watched videos of sharky here for years now, i definately have to dub the, clutchkick king, i can feel that in my stomach so good , i wish i had the money to do this everyday :( 4life
@tuned4life Thanks i understood. I don't think I miss any power. If it looks so,,, 1, up and down of the course 2, the video is out lap, tire is not ready to grip. 3.too much traction because of eqall length rear rods. or luck of driving technic!
Notice that he basically never touched the E brake the whole time and still accomplished greater angle than most drifters and had proper speed control. My hat is off to you good sir!
fainting and great foot work right their
Skandanavian Flick
Bradley Goetting clutch kicking
just like takumi never uses the e-brake what a god

Crazy bastard. I love your skills. :D
Passione Motori anche qui sei grande!
Muove un attimo il volante e parte
Some of the most enthusiastic driving I've ever seen. :)
Try being the passenger lol!
0:45 clutch kick the living shit out of it haha. Love the driving
I know im high as fuck, but that sounds like a human making the car sounds
Cannot unlisten that now.
Late to the party... but Its the first time I’ve seen this one. Wow. I always know how good your driving skill is, but that entry @ 1:45 gave me goosebumps. Incredible driving as always! Much respect from Canada
This is my favourite 86 video ever!! The man’s a clutch kicking lunatic 👏🏻🫡
1:06 totally insane....
sexy350Zowner it was funny xD, like he wanted to suicide xD
This video never gets old. One of my favorite youtuber and Instagram shit and drivers
Old school of drifting with weight shifting, Respect !
July 2019 and still had to come back to watch. 👍👍
@mattcep I'm not big fan of drifting either. I'm just enjoying driving.
First there was the Scandinavian Flick, then punch, then this- the Scandinavian NUKE!
What a beautiful sound!
apart from enjoying the art of drift, I'm the only one who laughed with the movements of the driver?
I did too
Me three :3
Road rage
I was very amused by that as well
It’s because he doesn’t have power steering so he has to use full arm strength to turn the wheel and carry the weight thrown down on front tires.
1:02 tho...
Rhys Canty tandem track
WOW (speechless) you know your car way too well!!! The angles you could achieve and the way you throw it around...this is going to sound gaylordish but driving like that is an art!!! And true purist running with the Carb setup i Love it!!
I love how he says ''I can't drive '' at the end lol
What a sound ...trumpet miked up through an Overdrive pedal and a Marshall JCM800!!!
I just saw your blog... though i can't read Japanese lol... i just looked at pictures... all i can say is beautiful build... good job man ^^
That was intense! Your hands were moving like lightning dude. Please make more
Great Driving dude, as always.
Bow down, Kaicho is the king of Drifting. Running Free!
E-Brake has no place in AE86 drifting.
nice driving and fantastic helmet.
I love the sound of your 86.Good job
THIS MAKES ME HAPPY EVERY DAY TO SEE MY DREAM CAR Making sweet sweet music
Drift: the next level
runningfree86 some mad skills bro ... I couldn't believe what I was seeing 👻
You need to make more videos like this! :D Great work! Love the steering wheel action!
Some day I hope to do these things, or try at least, with my Laurel C32 :D
Brb changing my pants.
This was absolutely amazing.
@runningfree86 u seem to be lovely friends with the clutch :) that car sounds epic :) i love it :)
I can watch this all day.
everytime you clutch kick i get chills..nice driving
Those feint motions look so angry!!!! So dope. The one dislike was because that person didnt know how to transfer the weight properly during feint and spun the other way.
Nice skill man! And nice hachi too! I really loved to see the outside camera, to see your great skill.
Professional drifters also use the same techniques he's using. In drifting not every move has be smooth. If your car has serious under steer then weight transferring is important, therefore aggressive turning is somewhat important.
@runningfree86 - Love how its thrown around - +1
This is...
ART
Nice drifting skills guy ! your entries are awesome !
love it...sounds amazing,and boy do you get some angles...very aggressive...excellent...give us more!
clutch kick really helps with cars "low" on torque :D
the engines in the 86 is quite a strong little puller. im guessing thats why you put low in quotes?
WOW! Your steering work is amazing! I wish I could do that too!
@krullibull123 Since I need "weight shifting", 7k for front and 6k for rear. I don't like stiff suspension setting.
Counter steer and clutch kick...awesome.
You can drift to have fun or to clock a fast lap with some flair. This guy just wanted to go nuts and have a good time - fair play!
This does put a smile on my face 🤤
old school tricks allday....mad props on your ride swweet skills on the track! Honda: had. one. never. do it again!
@piuthemagicman I found where Finland is! thanks from Japan
Cant drive!!! That was fantastic! You really have to hold some extreme angles to drift with a lower horsepower setup like that.
real quick steering work my friend. keep it up!
exactly man ! you have the razon he can see almost the pression oil and the pression water etc..
@runningfree86 get the bing translator add on and it will translate the whole page in another tab in english.
Awesome vid, great skills and nice car! While many prefer high horsepower machines to have fun with, I guess the challenge of making it work really appeals to 86 owners like us :p
@Absoluutti Wow Finland!! I gotta make sure where Finland is! nice to talk to ya
That is some violent maneuvering !
When he whips the car side ways it looks like he sped up the video. Lol
good drifting with alot clutch kick(i think due to its torque in high revving engine) and nice pendulum swing..
Yea give that clutch hell! Your car is insane!
man he whips that thing into corners.. ruthless haha i live it
i dont really agree, i mean watch it again when it gets near a corner all he dose is throw it to the side and its sideways instantly, hes a good driver and that things was changing direction instantly. also most onboard vids are of total pros normally not using 4AG engines so the sounds and response of the car is totally different.
i just saw this build thread and i would have turbo'ed it instead because even with all that work he did to it, he still has to clutch it like mad to drift in 2nd-3rd gears
hah i was just drifting on this track in assetto corsa in VR! no idea it was a real track
pcmr dog
Pure determination, you can see it in the drivers eyes lol
@VincentS327 do you personally think this AE86 in the vid was well tuned for drifting? i mean..i love AE86s..but some of them looks to be tuned way better...comes with better sense of power..and it seems to be easier to control..this car seems to be all over the track..or maybe its just the way this guy drives..doesn't seem very smooth to me at all..almost as though he is struggling behind the well..
Running free, you are insane ahah! crazy good skills nie car!!
@Aroddalobster thanks for translating
@hakosuka2 I love you too. love that noise!
SUPER LIKE!! and WT...!! with the steering
Rip clutch lmao. Absolute driving god
OLD SCHOOL BABY ❤️
why? that 4AG engine is tuned great and with the right angle and throttle control he could keep it sideways for ages!
Really great skills!! I find funny the way you moove the steering wheel ^^
Fantastic, love the AE86
to sickkkk props to ur awesome drifting !!!!
@runningfree86 Well i must say, its amazingly cool.
whoooaaa that boy got skills skills skills to pay the bills
Aggressibu styru! Fantastic!
Deffinatelly good driver but he certainly needs a smaller steering ratio (from edge to edge ) Love the Corollas !!
@GhostCell07 I painted it about 7years ago by myself.Thanks.
相変わらず熱いですね!そして86も健在で☆
Nice, looks like fun even though it's sped up a bit, I thought the engine was a little high pitched...
Now that is a sound system!
Sounds so good!
Love high revving 86's! So much feel and feedback... I'm going to call you the hummingbird drifter. Ok?
Sup man, Love your original style.. Just wanted to ask a little on your dampers and spring rates.. Are you running conventional 8f 6r spring rates? rear traction bracket?

STILL THE BEST! ALWAYS THE BEST!
@luljan You can dig that? Cool.
yo the way he takes corners he does drifting on a daily basis i wouldn't even initiate a drift so early and execute it so clean
ive watched videos of sharky here for years now, i definately have to dub the, clutchkick king, i can feel that in my stomach so good , i wish i had the money to do this everyday :( 4life
@tuned4life Thanks i understood. I don't think I miss any power. If it looks so,,, 1, up and down of the course 2, the video is out lap, tire is not ready to grip. 3.too much traction because of eqall length rear rods. or luck of driving technic!
nice man but is it me ore does it look sometimes that you are missing some bhp to finish the corner ??
@VincentS327 4.1 (TE71's 6.7inch)
@MaxxUK The AE86 is cool.
Dam dude you can really drive!
@runningfree86 Do you use coilovers or lowering springs? Any other modification to the suspension? Cheers from Sweden! :)
@XanFin thanks
@ponczak I've never heard it before! I knew it! thanks
Great drifting bro
@runningfree86 nice man
look like you miss some power at some corners ??
you get it now ??
@ae86power there is many driving style but it's not mine....
lol the voltage meter went crazy :D
