Tip #20 Revision: Do NOT go to any unsafe areas at the start of a game, go there after an EMERGENCY MEETING has been called. Imposters have a longer kill cooldown after a meeting than at the start of a game.
I know but the one who makes a meeting in the start of the game gets voted out
But if u follow the shapeshifter and he will noticed u.... You are fucked up
Unless the cooldown is already 10 seconds
another tip: when you see a shapeshifter kill, DONT report the body. Instead follow the shapeshifter unstill the shapeshifter unshifts

Tip: If you are engineer and someone else is also claiming to be engineer, ask them what the vent cooldown is.
Do imposters and engineers have different vent cooldown times?

@@user-lz7gn9gt7bthe thing is, if someone claiming eng doesnt know what is the cooldown, yes, they are an imp, but if they know, it doesnt mean that they are real eng, ether they are, or before the game they just looked what is the cooldown
Another tip: if vis is off, follow someone to medbay (only if you have scan task) if they go too the scan platform, try to scan at the same time and read the thing at the bottom. If it says whoever’s username that is on the platform. Then that will confirm that the player is crewmate. Sorry if this took too long to read and thanks for reading!
Kinda good tip:if someone is doing a task and when they finish and the task bar increases at the same time they are crewmate but if soemone finish the task and bar dosent go up its most likely a imposter

I have a big important tip: Never wear large cosmetics or suits like packaged suit and tophat and more while venting because the crewmate can see your hat (if theres no engineers)
Imposters can also fix the sabotages or sabotage the person fixing it. Example: If you are An Imposter, and someone is fixing lights, turn off the levers. Example: Kill if no one is in that room when the lights are off.
A small tip but if somebody keeps following you and you are quite far from the meeting, go to the nearest person near you if you’re the person that follows, you kills you then the person will be able to report

Another tip: if you don't have admin swipe then everyone else doesnt either, so if you see anyone doing admin swipe or went to admin in the start of the game and didn't do anything then left, it is most likely that they're the imposter.

fix wiring, keys(polus), boarding pass(polus) and fix pipes(fungle) are also common task

@@RRlix the fix wiring task also have a order the tasks are. For example, in Polus, it is not possible to get o2 fix wiring then elec because in Polus the order are elec, o2, office, upper decom, right lab, left lab. other map also have its own order.

Another tip: if you're a Tracker and you see someone stop far away from tasks, they might've just died. If they move a short distance instantly, they killed.
Extra tip: Electrical is sometimes pretty crowded, so you don't need to worry about getting killed there as long as there are lots of people nearby.
Lol yet that's the place I've got killed the most 😂
@@shreya_army I don't actually get killed that much in Elec. Morecommon locations are on other maps anyway.
Another tip that i use personally:
When you complete a task and the text "Task Completed" shows up, thats usally when people leave the task (they wait for it to close by itself) to save even just 2 seconds you can actually press the "x" button when your done doing the task itself. (if your quick enough you can do it before the text) hope this helps!
Edit: Forgot to add this but here it is:
Some tasks are quicker to close than others. So its harder to do this trick on those ones. Although some tasks that are slower can use this tip, e.g. Empty Chute.

Me to AM engineer Same this guy I use same strategy I vent at Security But there's one requirement Make it Clear The people think Your imp Just ask your Crewmate If you Trash, Medbay or Asteroid After crewmate saw You vent anything you want (if people think your still imp XD) You saw Imp vent out and See if Imp Shapeshift into someone or Dissappear Call a Report or Meeting That's the way you catch the imp
The task catching does not always work because there often a crew who love to troll and fake tasks (I often do that for fun) and even if it is not faking task it can still be longer or quicker than the average time, even download/upload some crew would stand there looking at the map after they finish to check where should they go next and some people started download and think they should do another task first and stop download.

Btw those 3 Fix Wiring also have a order, it can skip over 1 or 2 but for example in Skeld it is not possible to get storage fix wiring then elec fix wiring (I don't think it works in modded lobby though). In Skeld its elec, storage, admin, nav, sec. Mira HQ its storage, hallway, locker, gh, lab I think(did not remember srry but storage is 100% first). Polus its elec, o2, office, upper decom, right lab, left lab. Airship I forgot. Fungle don't have this.
may I ask why do you do it for trolls is it to get voted out
If wanna be my the left side has curved waves its the right side other wise its left side fastest if you combine it with turning it
Just a little bonus, but the imposter will tend to fake the 2nd and the 4th task in electric. (Keep in mind, this doesnt always work)
another tip: use admin map in places like skeld and mira hq trust me its much convenient finding someone or catching impostor
I think u should go in elec with everyone or after a report or meeting is called cuz the impostor will have a High cooldown also note out the people eho go bottom at the dtart but don't do swipe
Another Tip: if tip if somebody says your the impostor say he’s the other one if there’s 2 impostors

Edit: If 2 Crewmates enter a room, just stay where you are. For example: Pink and Yellow go into Security, Stay in cafeteria or electrical. If they don't come, And if the vent opens, Go check Security. You will find Pink's DB (Dead Body) Which means Yellow is imposter. 😈🔪 😱
Number 20 is not a good idea to go at the start of the game the starting kill cooldown is 10 seconds but then when a meeting happens and the meeting ends Then the kill cooldown added by the host will be their kill cooldown so try doing it after the first meeting happens

3:58 I usually have my Eng cd pretty low, so u can always ask Eng what is the cd? And if they answer wrong, one they are pretending to be imposter or two they are imposter. Yes I have had crewmates that pretend to be imposter.

This usually happens when 2 people try to scan at the same time (including ghosts), meaning it isn’t map-specific.
If you are an engineer, then you can also clear crewmates if they are cleaning vents (you can’t vent in/to that specific spot if a crewmate is cleaning it)

If there are no engineers in the lobby, you know that person is imposter. If there are engineers in the lobby, just keep a close eye on that person.

umm the tip where if you can catch someone faketasking by counting is a wrong
tip you see we are all different and some might take very fast or very slow so JOKEONYOU (my amongus username is JokesOnYou)
It isn’t 100% accurate but it isn’t wrong. Most players take that amount of time and it will usually work because of that.
