In my opinion, Polus is probably one of the best map for venting. Since instead of vents, you have holes. Meaning they won’t have an animation like the rest of the vents.

Actually polus is the best map to learn the game for both player and impostor. Once you learn the game like a pro on polus, then try out Mira HQ. Try out Skeld at the last, because it's the most difficult both for players and impostors.
Yes, but if you want to go places then Mira HQ is the best because all the vents connect
Alternative tip: If you accidentaly vent in front of someone, quickly sabotage lights, since the player cant call a meeting during a sabotage. Also, the reason you should only sabotage lights is so that you can kill the player without anyone seeing
Asides from doing comms when there is a guardian angel lying around.

Another imposter tip, kill a crewmate who was seen doing a visual task, because they'll end up being clear, and if they see you kill, you're just instantly out
and also if you wait for someone to do a visual task they might be in the imposter so maybe wait for two people instead but that'll be hard

You can mix up a few tricks. Say you mix the friend kill timer trick, and the emergency trick. One imposter stands at the emergency, and calls whenever they see the timer tick for a second, so no one knows where the body is.
On trick number3 you could also look at the camera in between reactor security upper engine and lower engine Because If it's blinking red that means someone is in security

I performed this last night:
So if the situation is 1 impostor left and 2 crewmates and these two know you're impostor...
Just cause a reactor meltdown and force the crewmates to fix that. Dont follow them, just stay in cafetaria. What you wanna do is close all doors on the left side of the map to stall them for a bit. When the doors open and your kill button is ready, just murder the first one trying to reach the button.

Another addition to the kill cooldown freezing tip for newer players: While shifting or unshifting as shapeshifter, the cooldown freezes until the shift is finally done, and u cannot kill while shifting

A hint for crewmates: Whenever the imposters vent electrical to medbay they will always move on the right side while the crewmates will only move on left side

If the imposter calls reactor or lights or whatever, I NEVER go to fix it until around the 10 second mark, when I know I have to go fix it. This is because if I try to go and fix it, I might miss a body. Therefore, I completely ignore it until it looks like I have to step in or risk losing the game.
I see why this game got big. It's really fun no matter what role you get. I love figuring it out, and I love trying to get away with murder! Win win!
