I was in a among us server, a person that was purple asked black if they wanted to fuck in electric, no literally I got someone thats yellow voted out of the game, literally by saying he fucked a vent.
some tips that have helped me: - It's always good to check admin regularly as impostor: you can see which rooms are empty and can use one as your alibi even if you weren't actually there, as nobody can confirm it. However, if you don't have time to make a pit stop in admin before a meeting gets called, claiming you were in comms is generally good bc it's very low traffic and it's unlikely anybody will be able to confirm it. - If you're a crewmate (on the Skeld) go to electrical first. It gets scarier the longer the game goes on bc fewer people will go in there, giving the impostor the perfect opportunity for ~murder~, so rip off the metaphorical band-aid asap. - If you're impostor, DO NOT kill anyone that the crewmates are suspicious of. Having a scapegoat to blame during meetings will be very beneficial in the long run. When all else fails, bust out the trusty "if not him then vote me" followed by a lights sabotage and _as many murders as you can possibly commit while the lights are down._ Happy deception!
When two people Acuse Eachother I kill one of them to make it look like the other guy who was previously accusing the guy I killed Looks like they killed the guy I killed if that makes sense.
Public games: Green: *reports* Purple: I can clear myself, I saw the task bar go up. Yellow: I think red self reported. White: wasn’t me, I was in a vent. Red: ITS CYAN, I SAW HIM VENT Black: cyan is dead Orange was not the impostor
Every public lobby i join: red was killed pink: “whe” black: “whrr” orang: “where” me: “medbay green: “that was too fast it has to be purple (me)” me: “wait what no lmao it aint me” green: “too fast” pink: “i agree” orang: “same” me: “im literally not the impostor” green voted pink voted orang voted black: “i saw purple vent” black voted me: “i” purple voted Purple was not the Impostor
Ikr one time I saw pink kill then vent so I discovered the body and told them but then pink said it was lime (me) and so everyone voted me off when it was pink and black
ikrrr and i'm already done with my tasks and people are saying i'm sus for not doing them, like maybe if you did your tasks you wouldn't have tasks either
Macro: You should stay with someone to gain their trust Me: follows Pink to gain trust Pink: Emergency meeting Pink: Blue(which is me) is chasing me Blue was Not the imposter 2 imposter remains
good tip: if you’re an imposter ask a crewmate how to do a task, they will automatically think that you’re a crewmate doing tasks and they most likely will not vote you; works for me alll the time
Tips as crewmate:- 1. Always complete your tasks first 2. The security cameras and the admin room are very helpful 3. Do not do visual tasks unless there are other players to see it 4. Always stay with a player you trust 5. While fixing lights, do not stack upon eachother( same with comms) 6. Always be aware where other players are 7. Do not vote someone unecessarily 8. If a player stops while walking and a sabotage occurs, you can say he might be an impostor 9. If you can see a single player doing a task, look for the task bar to go up 10. You can see others while doing a task as the page does not cover the full screen Tips as Impostor:- 1. Never do a hasty kill 2. Always keep in mind where are the cameras 3. If the cameras keep blinking, you are monitored 4. Never use vents if not required 5. If there are 2 impostors and you want to double kill, wait for your partner to kill first, then kill 6. Sabotage while running or faking a task 7. Never sabotage while standing idle 8. Always wipe out the player who is sus of you 9. Do not kill the player who trusts you 10. Make others gain your trust All of you guys already know most of these, but just to remind, I wrote this. :)
change to rule 8 impostor: "Always wipe out the player who is sus of you" never do that, because then everybody will assume you killed them because they were your (possibly) only threat, instead branch off for a short time, kill someone, and return because then you can say "well if i was impostor i would've ended up killing the guy who sus'ed me"
Here’s a tip: if you’re playing with two impostors and everyone knows your impostor teammate is guilty, don’t defend them otherwise you’ll look extremely suspicious
It kinda sucks though to be thrown under the bus by the other impostor. Sometimes they sus me before even the others have done it. Then I usually tell who he is before I'm voted off lol
Not tryna be mean, but this is a true story Me: excited because i am impostor along with another person Other person: is sus and gets voted out Me: votes other person because I dont wanna seem sus Other person: BROOOO WHY DIDNT U DEFEND ME (Color) IS OTHER IMPOSTOR Me: Ok fine, im impostor Other crewmates: Aww this guy is a party pooper im sorry for u Me: ;-; Although, if your other impostor is throwing u under the bus for no reason (you arent even sus to the other players) then you can throw them under the bus lol
@@user-ut2oo3kx3s It's to show an abrupt end to a sentence, something the full-stop cannot do Words in text form look pretty boring, so people try and add some variety by adding different symbols. For example: Hello! Hello. Hello Hello~ They all give you a different vibe, don't they? Even though only the first two are grammatically correct, I would much rather use the other ones for obvious reasons. Tom Scott made a great video about this: th-cam.com/video/fS4X1JfX6_Q/w-d-xo.html
When you said “as an imposter, gaining someone’s trust is important” I really felt that. One time there were three people left, me, cyan, and orange. Orange suspected me, but cyan said I was clear. Then cyan said that he saw orange kill green, and orange was like “NO IT WAS CYAN” I trusted cyan because he cleared me, so I voted orange. Turns out cyan was the imposter.
Imposters, crewmates can't call emergency meetings when there is a crisis going on. So if you where spotted venting, do a crisis sabotage in order to buy yourself time to possibly kill the one who spotted you. Also, pay attention to crewmates who are proven to be innocent. These are crewmates that you cannot frame, use as a third imposter, and they are people that everyone will take for their word, due to their innocence. So make sure to kill them first. The ones that are said to be suspicious are secretly your greatest ally. Frame them, use them as third imposter, and even go as far as to not vouch for them even when you have grounds to do so. But be careful when you do this, sometimes the one who is vouching for you is someone you need to use to make you look innocent.
More tips! 1. Be aware on cams. Take notice if somebody enters somewhere but appears in another room. That means they vented, 2. Don't just wander around when you're done with your task. It'll make you seem like you're scoping out players to kill. 3. If you want to sabotage someone when voting comes up, ask the group "How do you use the vents like 'player name' did I'm new." It'll make people automatically suspicious of the player you're sabotaging. Beware though, don't use this often. It'll work sometimes, but not all the time. 4. If you get imposter, here's a way to get away with a few kills. When someone enters electrical, kill them then use the vents to get to medbay. Don't just vent to security, it's too close. Then sabotage o2 immediately, to draw people away from the scene. Join the others and help fix the oxygen. Take note of who goes where afterward. If someone goes to electrical and reports, say it was a self-report. I've won a few games like this. 5. Don't try and fake a task at the panel on the entrance to the reactor, it's not real. The creators put it there to trick some people, 6. Take some time in free play to study how long each task takes and the order you do the take in. (i.e. if you fake a download, always go to admin and fake upload. Admin is the only place you can upload data to HQ.) Someone caught me faking tasks when I "finished" my download too quickly. 7. As he said, USE DOORS! A great way to secure a kill is to vent somewhere and wait for someone to be alone, then close doors and kill them. Leave the scene and sabotage somewhere else. That's all I've got. Reply to me with some more tips, please. I'm still fairly new to this game and every tip helps.
I've got a kill suggestion: in a lot of public servers you'll find what I call "camera campers" Which is when is person watches cameras almost the whole game. If you're imposter, go to medbay or electrical and fake a task. Close security doors, and vent to security, killing the person. Vent back and make your way to security, where usually someone is waiting outside the door, and report the body with them. It usually eliminates you as a suspect (:
Being cleared by someone can end up being the key to winning a game. My personal favourite game of Among Us I've ever played was when I was imposter, and my buddy got voted out early. In the third or so round, I found someone with the same hat, did the wiggle dance, and we ended up following each other around the map. I turned the lights off, got seperated on purpose, went off and got a couple of kills. I then went and hung out with Blue in cams. A body was found, and they voted off the fourth person because I'd been cleared, and I'd cleared the other two 'to my knowledge'. It wasn't them of course, and we immediately camped the emergency meeting button. A meeting is called, and Blue and Same Hat begin SCREAMING at each other in chat. They were both like 'Pink (me) you have to believe me! They're the imposter!' After some 'reluctance' I voted out Blue. Blue started saying about how we'd just thrown, hard. Then it was me. The lobby discussion after that was great
Well don't say too much, just enough. And don't accuse people every time they do something sus, try to have evidence that the person is indeed an impostor
Tip 1: When somebody “admits” they’re impostor don’t vote them off. They most likely just want to leave the game and move on to another without penalty. Instead skip and ask them to vent. Tip 2: When somebody calls a meeting or reports then tell everyone you’re going to follow somebody (for the rest of the game or until you’ve 100% cleared them like somebody else died while they were with you) you’re sus of and if you die it’s them. This is an op strat because if you die they’ll know it’s that person, and if you don’t die you’ll have an alibi. (This is not cheating, following somebody in the game is already something that happens, i’m just telling you to announce that you’re following somebody, and stop asking “what if they turn off the lights?” This strategy is supposed to be for god like players who can follow somebody through the dark, even if you do get lost use common sense. Let’s say lights turn off and you see red go down but you lose him, then you see a dead body in lower reactor, you can assume this is red. THIS IS ONLY IF YOU GET LOST SO DONT GET LOST!)
@@babigirl9111 Yes, if you leave the game before you get killed or voted off then you get a penalty the next time you join a game. This is to prevent people from spam leaving the game to get impostor. So a new strategy is to “admit” you’re the impostor so you can leave the game without penalty.
@@babigirl9111 The penalty is you have to wait like 30 seconds then the next time you do it you have to wait 1 minute etc. You have to leave like 2-3 times to activate it.
i have some tips: - did you know that shields is actually a visual task its a weird one but its possible to see at the bottom right corner - if one of the crewmates has the admin card swipe task then all the crewmates have that task because its a common task and if one of the crewmates doesn't have the admin task then all crewmates don't have it so be on the watch out for fake tasks - when they're 3 people left and your part of it and someone did a stack kill, make sure to see if you saw anything suspicious that happened during the kill for example -teleportation of player -player immediately moving to the front of the crew -disappearance of player - here are some hotkeys to never forget -Q = kill (for imp) -E = interact (either open a task, map, or the sabotage) -R = report the body (sometimes doesn't work so keep the cursor on the report button) - The best and reliable word "Vote him if it's not him then vote me" Edit: Here are more tips - Here is a simple trick when killing someone in an isolated area then go into a room and stay near the entrance then when you see someone start walking to the body, just walk out of the room to make it look like you finished a task then walk with him to where the body is and now you got an Alabi :) - Top colours to be Imposters -Purple -Red -Black -Pink (somehow :/) Edit 2: - Never kill the accuser or everyone will find out it’s you Edit 3: It’s better to go with people of 2 or 1 person but it’s better to do 2 people to risk the chance of getting killed but if your playing with 2 imposters, stick with 3 people
@@tania6254 I think I read in the wiki that they stay on for the rest of the match and can't be used to tell if the task is being done anymore, but I'm not really sure
Most people don’t know this but you can see when people die by using admin. If you look at the people in a room and one of them blinks for one second, it means they are dead. Go investigate the room and see if anyone is dead. Odds are, you will find a body. You can also see when people vent by looking at people teleporting around rooms connected by vents. Check what room they are in and go there ASAP. You will see someone walk out and that person is the imposter.
I recently played a bunch of games in a row and, using admin, made some really good plays and after the game a few people asked me how to use admin well and I told them this and some other tips
Junior so basically you look at admin, right? There are 2 people in a room, let’s say electrical, and you see one of the little people on admin *blink* just for a split second. This means that somebody was killed there. To find out who killed them, check if someone randomly starts moving from electrical to medbay or security (the places where the vents connect.) Once you see where they are, try and get there ASAP and you will know who the imposter is.
Tip: if someone accuses the other imposter and gives evidence like they vented or they kill in front, vote the other imposter so people don’t say next round “why didn’t you vote the imposter off?”
it depends on the situation tbh, sometimes even if there's definitive evidence some people just ignore that person or randomly decide to vote for someone else, if there are two suspects you might be the deciding vote and accidently get your partner voted off. the key is to follow the discussion and make sure there's at least 1 person excluding your partner and you who won't vote for the imp. for example if my partner's caught killing and if there's someone (cyan) defending them or saying they'll vote someone else i just say "i trust cyan" so they'll be put on the spot in the next meeting and i'll just be the innocent crewmate who trusted the wrong person.
one tip i find extremely helpfull (multiple, actually) skeld: -The download task takes about 9-10 seconds (count) -The download task FINISHES in ADMIN (not always, but 80% of the time, it NEVER STARTS there) -Calibrator is a hard task (electrical) for some people, easy to fake -Divide power ALWAYS starts at ELECTRICAL -You can fake a every task in the engines, as long as you have been seen in the rooms of the part1 of them -Learn where the vents go (I'm serious) -Admin is underrated (if two people are in, let's say electrical, and they blink-switch, and then someone is suddenly in medbay? go check medbay for who the imposter is, and press that button!) Polus (I don't play on here that much): -vitals are underrated. If you see someone die, and then it's immiediatly reported. First ask what the scene was, if only one person 'saw the body' it's a selfreport -there are more hiding places then i want to count In general: -Most of the times the first or first two tasks are the common tasks, not always, but it's helpful -Don't vote someone out with as only proof the word 'sus'. (ugh.....) -If you fake something, TIME IT RIGHT (wait for task bar to go up and immidiatly walk away -you can run while sabotaging, yes lucas you can! (I am not offending every lucas, just a specific one I know that isn't on this platform) -Sometimes you have to play the good guy and fix your own sabotages (I'm the only one in my friendgroup who can fix comms so if I don't do it, I'm sus. Yes, I am making use of that.) -Try not to vent -Learn where cameras are and how you can spot someone who vents on them You really have come this far? I love you! Have a nice day!
If you’re the imposter and someone claimed you as their “buddy” (they’re sticking with you and everyone knows that) Get rid of them by walking through a doorway and closing them in the last room, then gain distance
I hate when people say that and they act like we’re bad at the game for not listening to them. Like it’s the opposite, you’re bad for not being able to convince us.
i always have a suspicious person so i follow that person and i normally go un noticed, once i saw red vent on the vent in med bay and i called an emergency meeting, i gave my facts and pink even saw me outside of med bay, i got voted out for saying it was red and i was so angry! (red won)
tips when you’re an impostor: -don’t blame someone for being the imp, because even if they get voted out and it shows that they’re not impostor, people might think you’re sus for falsely accusing a crewmate. -don’t say “skip” in the chat. I know this sounds weird but trust me, it makes you look sus for trying to get away with being an impostor. -don’t follow anyone, it makes you look sus. -don’t self report, it’s very risky. -if you’re in the vents and you want to get out, double check to make sure nobody is around that area. -check admin first, try to find an area with only one person and nobody super close so you can make your move. -don’t vouch for the other impostor, because if they get voted out, you’ll seem very sus for defending an impostor -don’t betray or rat out your impostor partner, they are your backbone, your teammate, it’s much easier when your other impostor is with you. -try not to run around the area, instead, fake non-visual tasks. -go with the flow, if someone is saying “black” or “purple” is the impostor (just an example) vote them out. -just like the first tip, but don’t blame multiple people at a time, like don’t say “green” wait no “pink,” that’s what will make people vote you out. -don’t act sus around anyone, the goal of being an impostor is to lie and kill without getting caught, so that the crewmates can accept their defeat. this will also help, because if anyone is sus of you, ask for proof, because if you’re not being sus around anyone, what can they say?.. that’s all my tips for being an impostor 🔪 🩸 👩🚀
Tip as crewmate: If you are in security, you can see the "shadow" of medbay as it is the room directly to the right. While you cant see where people are, you can see vents opening and closing. If you see this happen, immediately turn on cams and catch the person walking out of medbay.
Me:*Reports dead body* Also me: *I was in security Everyone else: *SUSSS* Me: *Bruh* Edit: What the.. Tysm for the likes I wasnt expecting this much lmao
Once, a person in my game was doing the asteroids tasks and as we all know (or some of us) that task is a visual task. I saw them standing near the chair and the lasers weren't coming out and got the everyone to vote for them. Imposter: Remember which tasks are visual and not. When someone reports body, wait until the first person to say where before you do. Even if someone saw you kill, as long as it is only one person and confirm ejects are off, you can frame that person. Make sure there's two or three imposters though. Follow one crewmate and do the same task as them. Also, just because you and that crewmate is alone, don't always kill them. If you don't they might trust you and be on your side. Don't randomly accuse. If someone accuses your other imposter, don't deny it. Ask them for evidence and if they don't have any then you can accuse them for random accuse. Try stack killing as much as you can. That is the best kind of kill because no one will know who it is. Crewmate: Do your tasks as fast as you can so you don't get killed during your task. Fake a task just so you can see what's happening when you do a task (optional) Don't stack because the imposter could stack kill and no one will know who it is. (I'll edit this if I figure out more)
I reported a body Me: Yellow just killed in front of me! Blue: Proof? Me: My eyes are the proof? If it isn't then vote me afterwards Black (me) has voted, 8 remaining. Red: Black sus, he voted straight away Me: because I literally saw it Yellow: black sus Everyone votes Black was not the imposter
Tip 2: If the game started and someone quikly goes to admin and "Upload" files (you know the one tasks that is close to the electic tasks) they're 100% faking tasks. because the file needs to be downloaded before uploaded.
One time my download data was in the cafeteria so as soon as the game started I went to the top of the room and downloaded, then when I was done I just went right away to admin to upload and someone called me out for faking tasks but I was just being really fast :((
Yea this one time somebody went to upload data in admin so i was like eh okay then i follow him then u know what he did he download data i was like whaaaaat so i ran to the emergency u know what he said he said he likes to do all the task and he likes to upload first then download lol then the owner said visual task r off and it was not a visual task and there was a bit sus on me but i got the person right 😃
@@Fliptastic The right opinion. Sure Minecraft isn’t as popular as it was years and years ago, but it has seen a resurgence and it’s at a peak pretty close to when it was in its prime.
Yeah. This only works with intermediate players. If the players are too advanced, then you're dead on the spot. If the players are too nooby, then you're also dead because they might sus you for no reason.
@@d1kgaws12 ikr but when someones an imposter they become suddenly dumb but if i was an imposter suddenly some crewmates becomes an infinity IQ or they're just dumb
PRO Tip: Don't press the emergency meeting just to say hi, don't waste your button, let someone else use the button or report a dead body. Medbay scan: Don't push the button and say: "I have medbay scan come watch" that will annoy ppl espacially when someone is almost done with their task. Venting: The reason venting and the button is there, for the vents, just for the impostor to quickly make a escape, or some speed. The button is there to catch the impostor venting.
@@thomasfrank132 yeah but like u can tell them when someone reports a body so technically it’s useless to do an emergency meeting just to say u have a visual so yeah
I literally had a round where my other impostor killed me by piling to the other votes. It was on Polus, I killed someone in the hallway above the admin panel and then went into specimen where another person was heading outside, where I came from. Obviously I tried to blame a self report on him to try and convince others that he was the impostor and wanted to hide his kill by blaming me. If he had my back when he was asked of his opinion on the matter and voted for him, I would've lived, he would've died and we could've made a doublekill. But he sold me lmao
Once some of the others were in nav or weapons i think, some were in comms and I turned the lights off. Orange, the other imposter was with me and I killed someone that was with us and ran away in storage (lights were still off). That idiot orange just decided to NOT RUN AWAY somewhere and everyone came there and orange just STILL STOOD THERE (i was in storage and could see him, since the lights were off nobody knew where i was and i just claimed to be in electric because no one was there for some odd reason) and everyone voted him out, even me because he played like a dumb idiot and didn't run away. He probably was afk or something though.
(For the Skeld): General Help: Vent systems: 1) Security/Cams>>Electrical>>Medbay. 2) Upper reactor task>>Upper Engine, Lower Reactor>>Lower Engine. 3) Admin>>Cafeteria>>Hallway outside Nav. 4) Nav>>Weapons>>Shields. Notes: System 3: The vent outside nav has a security cam pointed right at it; make sure to check the cam for the red dot before venting. The same goes for venting in sec or like medbay; before venting anywhere in System 1, vent to sec, you can see the security camera from the vent. Multi-part tasks: tasks like these contain multiple parts before being completed, like wires or fuel engines are good tasks to fake, as people won't be able to tell if you're faking or just doing the task and it hasn't been completed yet. Electrical: Let's say that you went to go fix lights, they just turned on, and almost everyone's in there. Now's the perfect time to do electrical tasks. A bunch of people are already in there, and you typically have at least one electrical task per game, so people are already in there and are more likely to get them done then. Remember, you are safer in a group (usually) than by yourself. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tips for catching imposters: Common tasks: These are tasks that everyone has, or no one has. If you don't have a task like card swipe, and you see someone doing it, they're an imposter. If you see a bunch of people doing a task like card swipe and you're an imposter, then fake that task; it gives you a little bit of a clear name. Admin map: On the other side of the card swipe table, you will see a layout of a map when interacting with it. This shows where people are on the map; Doesn't show who it is though. If you see someone quickly go from, for example, Medbay to sec, to elec, they're an imposter it doesn't take that short of a time to go from those rooms. Also, If there are like two people in a room, and one of them suddenly flickers, that person was killed. Check that room and the surrounding rooms for a person; they're probably an imposter. Voting: If someone votes someone randomly without saying why when everyone else skipped or skipped when everyone else was voting someone, that's highly sus, and should set off some red flags. If someone is voted out and turns out to be an imposter and they voted someone else, even though it's a crappy move, the person they voted for is probably an imposter. It's a generally bad idea to vote on 7 or 4. Voting on 7 means that the imposters either win (if you have 3 imposters), or you only have to do a double kill to win (if you have two). Voting on four means that the imposter only has to kill one person to win. Buddy system: If you end up with 4 people, or just throughout the whole game, consider using the Buddy system. It's a good way to figure out whos the imposter. The taskbar: Because of the new update, the taskbar can be hidden, or only show updates during meetings. Disregarding these features, if someone is doing a task that is either the last part of a task (like transferring power or ant single part-tasks, card swipe, etc.) the taskbar will go up. If you don't see this, that person is either doing a multi-part task or is faking the task. List of visual tasks and their animations: Trash Chute (Storage): Will take a few seconds, but on the outside of the ship, the sliding doors will open and release trash. Must have done trash in Cafeteria or o2 before doing this task Medbay scan: The person will shuffle onto the scanning pad, and a green grid scanning sequence will commence. If visuals are off, you can still tell whos safe by doing this task and not faking it; the character will shuffle onto the pad. Weapons/Asteroids: Barrels on the side of the ship will retract then fire. Shields: Believe it or not, this is a visual task. Once completing the task, the lights on the side of the ship will light up and glow for a few seconds. Hope this is helpful! If you have some imposter tips, leave them in the Replys!
Fun fact: if you are playing on pc you can use q,e and r instead of clicking: Q=kill E=use, vent, sabotage R=report I recommend using them instead of clicking if you're prone to misclicks
Tip: from what I've experienced, the most colors that get impostor are white, cyan, brown, green, lime (and sometimes purple) (mainly cyan, lime and white)! Try to get those colors on a round and you have a pretty good chance at being it.
Whenever I'm imposter and go to Med Bay, I sabotage the doors while faking inspect sample if someone comes in. I then vent out from the crime scene, but I try to make sure it's only one player and that no one saw me go inside. I play with random players so a double kill is too risky. I also fake tasks that don't raise the bar, like getting the fuel in storage, and lock the doors if there's anyone in there with me. That way, they might think I'm a crewmate who got trapped while preparing to do a task. Those are the only strategies I have. Other times I just kill and vent mostly I'd say.
Tip 1: Use the doorlogs and cameras more. While playing on Mira HQ, I hardly see anyone using the doorlog in comms. The doorlog is extremely good at calling out imposters. If you can make a good mental map in your head and keep track of people of where they are in the map, which can be extremely op at times. You can also use this to see if peoples stories add up, or if they vented. An example of this would be that lets say someone is in cafe, and the impostor is up north. If they vented, they wouldn't pass any of the sensors. So they would pass the SW and North sensor to get up north, but then to go to cafe, they would have to pass the north sensor again and the SE sesnor. If on doorlogs it only said that they were up north, but then they pass the SE sensor without passing the north sensor, you konw the impostor must've vented. Note that a good impostor can also use this to their advantage as well. Lets say there's someone up north they want to kill, but they're in the SW section. They can use a vent in either Medbay or Reactor/Labs, vent up north to kill the person, and then vent back to reactor. That way if someone is checking doorlogs, they'll deduce it most likely cant be you since you never passed the north sensor, therefore you were never there. Tip 2: This tip is a bit specific to Mira HQ as well, but if someone comes from the bottom of Medbay, the likely vented. There is no task at the bottom of Medbay, so it's most likely that they vented from there. Tip 3: At the start of a match on maps like Polus and Mira HQ, thenn pay attention to crewmates doing tasks. Since it's the start of the game, they can't fake the task as well with the taskbar. If a crewmate does a task at the beginning of the game and the taskbar goes up, you can then confirm them as innocent. If the crewmate does a task and the taskbar doesn't go up, then they're most likely the impostor. Sometimes this might a be a bit faulty as the taskbar can be a bit glitchy at times like Macro said in the video. Tip 4: During meetings, always point out who is confirmed innocent. That way when everyone says their alibis, you can use that and the info of who is confirmed innocent to try and deduce the impostor is via process of elimination. Tip 5: It's a well known fact, but for those of you who don't know, you can see vents open even if lights are out or if you can't see that part of the room via a one way door. If you go to look who's there, then you know who the impostor is. Tip 6: Take notice if a crewmate is doing a part 2 task. If you notice that a crewmate is doing a part 2 task without doing part 1, then they are definitely the impostor. An example of this would be divert power to Medbay/comms/admin etc. If you notice that the crewmate never went to reactor/electrical and they are "doing" the part 2 of that task, then you know they are faking it. You can double check this with the use of the task bar to see weather or not it raises or not. Tip 7: Try and take notice if someone does the same task again. An example of this is that lets say you walk by someone doing wires, they follow you when your doing a task, then you both walk back together, and they do the same wires panel again, then they are most likely impostor. Note that this might not be completely fool proof and someone could easily make an excuse of this, such as "I got scared and quit the task" or "I wanted to see if you were gonna kill me" or some other random excuse. If they do this, just make sure to keep an eye out on them if they do anything else that is sus. Tip 8: Take notice a crewmate is doing "the stagger step." this where a crewmate while stagger slightly while trying to do a task. Impostors will usually stagger once or twice, but again this is not complete hard evidence so just make sure to keep an eye on them to see if they do anything else that is sus. Tip 9: This might be a well known tip, but just in case it isn't, you can see people vent in the admin map. Lets say for example your playing on skeld. If you see a head go from electrical, then instantly to security, and then instantly again to medbay, then you know that someone is venting in that location. If you can make it to medbay in this example, then you might be able to catch the impostor, but i would most likely either call a meeting to say where everyone is and note that someone had vented, or hope that a body is reported not too soon after you catch them venting.
This isn't a good idea as it encourages people not to do tasks much. Sec is also a great site for a free and easy kill that will take a bit if time to find with a vent in there. Same with logs. Also smart imposters may sabotage the comms or purposefully tick the system by going north on the sensor. Venting to blacony, killing and then venting back to the north and going through the sensor again. It works well but don't overuse it. Only use when you have few tasks left with lots of precautions.
@@myaltaccountthatiwillbarel2288 I mentioned that in my tip. There other factors that also go into this such as other people sround them and how many people are left, so it takes a really lucky circumstance for an impostor to do what u mentioned
Tip: Memorize all the vents and where they go to, then look on admin to see if someone quickly changed rooms and did not pass through other rooms to get there, this is a sign of venting. Once you see someone vent on admin quickly run to that room or rooms around that room that they vented to and then you will probably be able to find the imposter standing right in front of you. Good luck :)
Tips for Among Us: Imposter Tips: - When you kill someone make sure you have a vent or a place to escape to - Have an alibi with you for every game (get someone to trust you, so they can back you up at any time) - Don't use caps or act too "frantic" in chats (people may suspect you/vote you out for being too suss) - Fake task whenever you can! (Admin is a good task to fake first because its close by and people will suspect you less) - Know all the rooms. (When you enter a new room, the name of that room will come up at the bottom. It's a good thing to know all the rooms instead of saying a similar name to it. e.g. Electrical - lights (fake name) just because people will suspect you more - Sabotage as much as possible! Lights is a good sabotage to do when you want to kill someone, as people won't be able to see you as well as find the body. - 02 sabotage is a great sabotage to use when you want people/crewmates away from the body (as it is a critical task) so when they finally find the body nobody will know its you :) - When there is 3 people left in the game (including you) killing someone is your best option as you will automatically win the game - If someone dies, acting clueless is a very good option e.g "where" "who?" saying your location or a fake location away from where the body was pronounced located will make players think that its not you, as you were away from the body, if that makes sense :) Crewmate Tips: - Make sure you are not alone in a room with someone else as they have a chance of being the imposter and killing you (unless you know 100% they are not the imposter) - Make friends/alibis! Make people know its not you, because I understand getting voted out when you're not the imposter can be frustrating. Tasks that have an animation like the Medbay scan and more is a great way of showing that you are not imposter! (As well as saving those tasks for later, so if someone is convincing people its you, you can show them and they won't vote you) - Do your tasks as quickly as possible, you can use the rest of the time on Cams/security and you can find the imposter quickly - If someone locks you in (and you know you're about to die) run to the closest part of that room where people will see you, people can potentially find your body better/quicker and perhaps find the imposter as they are escaping - As you get in the home page of Among Us, if you click on Free Play, it will allow you to practise being Crewmate or Imposter for as long as you like. You can practise tasks or you can practise killing :) Thats all my tips and I will update it, when I get more!!
The admin/cafe/hall vent is one of the most dangerous vents in skeld. 1. Admin has card swipe, one of the most populated tasks. 2. The hall vent is under a security camera and beside navigation, a room with a lot of tasks. 3. Cafeteria is the link to all hallways so it’s common to see people running through it.
@@peachy-wd6ci it doesn't clear you fully, but crewmates are more likely to listen to you. Clearing people essentially gives you an edge over others in the game.
Here is the a glitch tip: You can press on the "SHHHHH!" screen so the screen telling you to shush and what team you're on goes away faster so you have a head start than anyone else (unless they know this tip as well). Another glitch tip that goes well with that one is that you can use the WASD keys (or for mobile, place your tuhmb where your joystick usually is) to move starting on the "SHHHHH!" and if you try to move to where you think is a route, you can get yet another head start. Although sometimes you spawn in a slightly different place so it involves luck.
Me: Follows red Red: White sus guys. Me: Red is good guys Everyone: oh so we voted the wrong person. White was not the imposter Edit: Plot twist: Red was an imposter
tips for the imposter: - all the tasks you should fake are given to you where you normally check for tasks. if there is a common task that everyone has, it is listed there. - do not fake common tasks if its not in that list. this means no one has it. google for a list of common tasks. example would be admin card swipe in the skeld or dropship insert keys in polus - calling any sabotage blocks the emergency meeting from being called. this is useful if someone sees you vent or kill and you still have a cooldown. - following the tip above, you can also lock doors to your advantage. it’s extremely underrated - do not fake visual tasks. - try to get an alibi from the beginning. fake a few tasks infront of people. - do not leave a one part task until the task bar goes up in front of someone. if you do, this can be easily spotted. - stacks are your advantage. if you kill while in a stack of a bunch of people, it’s extremely hard for crewmates to tell who killed.

some tips that have helped me:
- It's always good to check admin regularly as impostor: you can see which rooms are empty and can use one as your alibi even if you weren't actually there, as nobody can confirm it.
I go to electric when there’s a sabotage other than lights or reactor bc imp will go to fix the sabotage to not look sus most of the time

Tips as crewmate:-
1. Always complete your tasks first
2. The security cameras and the admin room are very helpful
3. Do not do visual tasks unless there are other players to see it
4. Always stay with a player you trust
5. While fixing lights, do not stack upon eachother( same with comms)
6. Always be aware where other players are
7. Do not vote someone unecessarily
8. If a player stops while walking and a sabotage occurs, you can say he might be an impostor
9. If you can see a single player doing a task, look for the task bar to go up
10. You can see others while doing a task as the page does not cover the full screen
Tips as Impostor:-
1. Never do a hasty kill
2. Always keep in mind where are the cameras
3. If the cameras keep blinking, you are monitored
4. Never use vents if not required
5. If there are 2 impostors and you want to double kill, wait for your partner to kill first, then kill
6. Sabotage while running or faking a task
7. Never sabotage while standing idle
8. Always wipe out the player who is sus of you
9. Do not kill the player who trusts you
10. Make others gain your trust
All of you guys already know most of these, but just to remind, I wrote this. :)
change to rule 8 impostor: "Always wipe out the player who is sus of you" never do that, because then everybody will assume you killed them because they were your (possibly) only threat, instead branch off for a short time, kill someone, and return because then you can say "well if i was impostor i would've ended up killing the guy who sus'ed me"

That means they vented,
The creators put it there to trick some people,
I'd love to but I started playing yesterday. Nice tips though, there are other tips video here. We're learning...
Tip: Dont use the "I was new and saw ____ vent" It is ultra sus and most people will vote you off for saying it.
If everyone is sus of your fellow impostor vote them or they'll think that you are sus too and vote you off
These are amazing, thanks
They're the imposter!'
After some 'reluctance' I voted out Blue. Blue started saying about how we'd just thrown, hard.
Then it was me.

Well don't say too much, just enough. And don't accuse people every time they do something sus, try to have evidence that the person is indeed an impostor
Tip 1:
When somebody “admits” they’re impostor don’t vote them off. They most likely just want to leave the game and move on to another without penalty. Instead skip and ask them to vent.
Tip 2:
When somebody calls a meeting or reports then tell everyone you’re going to follow somebody (for the rest of the game or until you’ve 100% cleared them like somebody else died while they were with you) you’re sus of and if you die it’s them.

- when they're 3 people left and your part of it and someone did a stack kill, make sure to see if you saw anything suspicious that happened during the kill for example
-teleportation of player
-player immediately moving to the front of the crew
-disappearance of player
- here are some hotkeys to never forget

-E = interact (either open a task, map, or the sabotage)
-R = report the body (sometimes doesn't work so keep the cursor on the report button)
- The best and reliable word
"Vote him if it's not him then vote me"
Edit: Here are more tips
- Here is a simple trick when killing someone in an isolated area then go into a room and stay near the entrance then when you see someone start walking to the body, just walk out of the room to make it look like you finished a task then walk with him to where the body is and now you got an Alabi :)
- Top colours to be Imposters
-Purple
-Red
-Black
-Pink (somehow :/)
Edit 2:
- Never kill the accuser or everyone will find out it’s you
Edit 3: It’s better to go with people of 2 or 1 person but it’s better to do 2 people to risk the chance of getting killed but if your playing with 2 imposters, stick with 3 people

Tip 51: STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM ELECTRICAL
True
Fun Fact: Prime shields is actually a visual task if you look to the bottom right when you complete the task the lights will light up.
And if someone else does it, I think it flashes brightly after they've done it
But it only works once, as they stay up after the task is done
@@blue_azul I think when they done for like a couple seconds, it flashes brightly
@@tania6254 I think I read in the wiki that they stay on for the rest of the match and can't be used to tell if the task is being done anymore, but I'm not really sure
Yes you are right I discovered it today itself
Most people don’t know this but you can see when people die by using admin. If you look at the people in a room and one of them blinks for one second, it means they are dead. Go investigate the room and see if anyone is dead. Odds are, you will find a body. You can also see when people vent by looking at people teleporting around rooms connected by vents. Check what room they are in and go there ASAP. You will see someone walk out and that person is the imposter.
I recently played a bunch of games in a row and, using admin, made some really good plays and after the game a few people asked me how to use admin well and I told them this and some other tips
noah cory yeah you can also see people vent if you know where the vents lead to.
Vents to admin ;)
Also if someone doesn't move...
Fun Fact: When you are playing 1 imposter game and someone standing on vent and sabotage occur the person standing on vent is 100% not an imposter
He can press sabotage before moving on the vent, I did it multiple times as Imp so ppls think I’m a crewmate
More like 69% cuz other Impostor can sabotage too. Also, cookie is right u can press sabotage before going on top of vent.
They could open the sabotage map before going on vent so that they look less sus

😲 wow..! What a win among us world record th-cam.com/video/a6FyS6rsczI/w-d-xo.html
one tip i find extremely helpfull (multiple, actually)
skeld:
-The download task takes about 9-10 seconds (count)
-The download task FINISHES in ADMIN (not always, but 80% of the time, it NEVER STARTS there)
-Calibrator is a hard task (electrical) for some people, easy to fake
-Divide power ALWAYS starts at ELECTRICAL
-You can fake a every task in the engines, as long as you have been seen in the rooms of the part1 of them
-Learn where the vents go (I'm serious)
-Admin is underrated (if two people are in, let's say electrical, and they blink-switch, and then someone is suddenly in medbay? go check medbay for who the imposter is, and press that button!)
Polus (I don't play on here that much):
-vitals are underrated. If you see someone die, and then it's immiediatly reported. First ask what the scene was, if only one person 'saw the body' it's a selfreport
-there are more hiding places then i want to count
In general:
-Most of the times the first or first two tasks are the common tasks, not always, but it's helpful
-Don't vote someone out with as only proof the word 'sus'. (ugh.....)
-If you fake something, TIME IT RIGHT (wait for task bar to go up and immidiatly walk away
-you can run while sabotaging, yes lucas you can! (I am not offending every lucas, just a specific one I know that isn't on this platform)
-Sometimes you have to play the good guy and fix your own sabotages (I'm the only one in my friendgroup who can fix comms so if I don't do it, I'm sus. Yes, I am making use of that.)
-Try not to vent
-Learn where cameras are and how you can spot someone who vents on them

tips when you’re an impostor:
-don’t blame someone for being the imp, because even if they get voted out and it shows that they’re not impostor, people might think you’re sus for falsely accusing a crewmate.
-don’t vouch for the other impostor, because if they get voted out, you’ll seem very sus for defending an impostor
-don’t betray or rat out your impostor partner, they are your backbone, your teammate, it’s much easier when your other impostor is with you.

Among us players when their task is to be funny:
That feeling when somebody walks right past your body and your screaming "REPORT IT OMG" 😑😅
Once, a person in my game was doing the asteroids tasks and as we all know (or some of us) that task is a visual task. I saw them standing near the chair and the lasers weren't coming out and got the everyone to vote for them.
Imposter:
Remember which tasks are visual and not.
Crewmate:
Do your tasks as fast as you can so you don't get killed during your task. Fake a task just so you can see what's happening when you do a task (optional)
Don't stack because the imposter could stack kill and no one will know who it is.
(I'll edit this if I figure out more)
Omg once my imposter buddy was faking asteroids while visual tasks were on and I was gonna attempt to double kill with them.... I had second thoughts
closing doors and calling reactor or O2 only works when there is a glitch or when the impostors close doors and call emergency at the same time
Also close tasks early when it's done so it closes faster so you won't get killed
Everytime I ask my crewmate not to stack they always say "you are saying that to make us apart"
"Sus"
" is the Impostor"

Fun tip : Finish your electrical tasks at the start of the game , because imposters have kill cooldown
(For the Skeld):
General Help:
Vent systems: 1) Security/Cams>>Electrical>>Medbay.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tips for catching imposters:
Common tasks: These are tasks that everyone has, or no one has.
List of visual tasks and their animations:
Trash Chute (Storage): Will take a few seconds, but on the outside of the ship, the sliding doors will open and release trash. Must have done trash in Cafeteria or o2 before doing this task
Medbay scan: The person will shuffle onto the scanning pad, and a green grid scanning sequence will commence.
If you have some imposter tips, leave them in the Replys!
if someone is accusing you, do not kill them. Keep them and say: "If I was the impostor, I would've killed ___ for accusing me"

I’ve been impostor like 2 times, I won once and then another time the game glitched and everyone lagged out
Whenever I'm imposter and go to Med Bay, I sabotage the doors while faking inspect sample if someone comes in.

Isn’t fuel a unique task or something like that?
random players? u mean -100 iq lobbies?
The rest are fine though. The medbay vent on Mira sucks a lot as well.
So much stuff
@@myaltaccountthatiwillbarel2288 I mentioned that in my tip. There other factors that also go into this such as other people sround them and how many people are left, so it takes a really lucky circumstance for an impostor to do what u mentioned
You can also see people get killed on admin (even less well known)
Tip: Memorize all the vents and where they go to, then look on admin to see if someone quickly changed rooms and did not pass through other rooms to get there, this is a sign of venting. Once you see someone vent on admin quickly run to that room or rooms around that room that they vented to and then you will probably be able to find the imposter standing right in front of you. Good luck :)

Tips for Among Us:
Imposter Tips:
- When you kill someone make sure you have a vent or a place to escape to
- Have an alibi with you for every game (get someone to trust you, so they can back you up at any time)
- Don't use caps or act too "frantic" in chats (people may suspect you/vote you out for being too suss)
- Fake task whenever you can! (Admin is a good task to fake first because its close by and people will suspect you less)
- Know all the rooms. (When you enter a new room, the name of that room will come up at the bottom. It's a good thing to know all the rooms instead of saying a similar name to it. e.g. Electrical - lights (fake name) just because people will suspect you more
- Sabotage as much as possible! Lights is a good sabotage to do when you want to kill someone, as people won't be able to see you as well as find the body.
- 02 sabotage is a great sabotage to use when you want people/crewmates away from the body (as it is a critical task) so when they finally find the body nobody will know its you :)
- When there is 3 people left in the game (including you) killing someone is your best option as you will automatically win the game
- If someone dies, acting clueless is a very good option e.g "where" "who?" saying your location or a fake location away from where the body was pronounced located will make players think that its not you, as you were away from the body, if that makes sense :)
Crewmate Tips:
- Make sure you are not alone in a room with someone else as they have a chance of being the imposter and killing you (unless you know 100% they are not the imposter)
- Make friends/alibis! Make people know its not you, because I understand getting voted out when you're not the imposter can be frustrating. Tasks that have an animation like the Medbay scan and more is a great way of showing that you are not imposter! (As well as saving those tasks for later, so if someone is convincing people its you, you can show them and they won't vote you)
- Do your tasks as quickly as possible, you can use the rest of the time on Cams/security and you can find the imposter quickly
- If someone locks you in (and you know you're about to die) run to the closest part of that room where people will see you, people can potentially find your body better/quicker and perhaps find the imposter as they are escaping
- As you get in the home page of Among Us, if you click on Free Play, it will allow you to practise being Crewmate or Imposter for as long as you like. You can practise tasks or you can practise killing :)
Thats all my tips and I will update it, when I get more!!
Tip 51: self reporting is even worse on polus in case someone is on vitals. but if you wait a bit before reporting, you might have their trust

Fun fact:
For some reason, when a person cleared another person, everybody automatically assumes the clearer must be innocent. Follow me?
Wait so if im pink and I said yellow is safe would that make everyone assume that pink is safe as well

Thanks for the tip!
thats not a glitch its a feature
That explains why my crewmates go to their tasks so fast

tips for the imposter:
- all the tasks you should fake are given to you where you normally check for tasks. if there is a common task that everyone has, it is listed there.
- do not fake common tasks if its not in that list. this means no one has it. google for a list of common tasks. example would be admin card swipe in the skeld or dropship insert keys in polus
- calling any sabotage blocks the emergency meeting from being called. this is useful if someone sees you vent or kill and you still have a cooldown.
- following the tip above, you can also lock doors to your advantage. it’s extremely underrated
- do not fake visual tasks.
