I love that you added - Stina’s “Why??” That made me laugh so hard … I would soo be needing a Jiminey Cricket Stina in that moment too … Lucky she wasn’t around when I bought a lot of Vintage MOTU new old stock ‘Light switch covers’ 😮
Man... Ever since PowerCon left CA, I haven't been able to go due to my poor vision and not being able to really travel alone, but before that... I only missed the first show and have been to evey single one since! If you haven't been to one before and can go, you really need to! The people there are awesome, the venders are amazing, the panels are always entertaining and holy cow... The toys are mind blowing! Every fan of anything should go! Anyway, Dan... Great hall man! Everything you picked up (except for those hideous 90s Joe's) was amazing! If I ever come across my toy bird from the beginning of the episode, I'll for sure give it to you. I remember having that and that orange two headed dragon thing and playing with them all the time with my He-Man figures. They were AWESOME!!!! Thanks for sharing your experience at the con and thanks for sharing your hall as well. Have a great day and if PowerCon ever comes back to CA, I'll be sure to say hi again 😎👍
That jewel lords figure is amazing! Earth to Kentucky (the booth where you got it), is one of the best toy stores I've ever been to. Customs and artist made toys and an amazing collection of vintage toys and ephemera - you should go there and do a video, Dan! You won't be dissappointed!!! Also thanks for showing my Pokemon Motu mashups in your video! :)
It was great to meet you at the show after all these years of watching your channel! It was great talking TH-cam with you, and your Kidrobot Proto/Break Man is in good hands! lol Sadly I got to the show pretty late on the final day and couldn't experience a lot of it, but it was fun to meet you and a few other friends, as well as find a few obscure toys I had been looking for, namely a Spy Monkey Creations Weaponeers of Monkaa Optimus Prime homage! Best part about these shows is finding stuff you'd never find anywhere else. Great vid man, hope to see you again next year!
I have been waiting to see your PowerCon video. I was there on Saturday and walked through each vendor atleast twice and still felt like I missed some of the things you showed here. I had a great time and my wife had a great time hunting for her mlps and car bears. I went past your table a few times and you were very busy so I didn’t stop but wanted to say I got back into toy collecting in March and when deciding what vintage toy line to start with (so I would not get overwhelmed and buy everything, trust me I want everything) I found you MOTU book and it is amazing and I go through all the pages before toy shows to make sure when I see stuff it has the right accessories and such. Anyways thank you for your book and the videos. Hopefully there will be a PowerCon 2024 so I can add some great motu goodness to my collection and not have to wait till 2025 to get my PowerCon fix.
What a flashback! That TMNT figure with the water play feature is one my brother had as a kid and I loved playing with it! Not sure where it ended up, but that was such a fun (and not very functional) toy! My personal favorite was detective Donny though, with swappable disguises!
Thanks for including my booth in the video! Sorry I missed you. I had walked by yours a couple times to say hi, but you must have been doing a panel or toy hunting. Another time!
I’m glad that you enjoyed the gifts. I hope you slowly grow your Small Soldiers collection. I also hope you get Cody and Brandi to autograph those Barbies.
I recognize the toys at 8:01. They're a vintage line from the 80s called Imperial, they're very durable. I was given a few dinosaurs and a tiger as hand me downs when I was little.
I lost my Screech along with Webstor in 1985 after traveling with my Grandmother to her hometown. I did get back Webstor through MOTU Origins, but not Screech which is not available in my country. Great Story about those Screeches.
You got the blue GI Joe/Streetfighter II Blanka that came with the Beast Blaster (reprint of the Dreadnok Thunder Machine) vehicle, along with a red costume Chun Li.
Man, seeing those Bushido's, I really hope we get more Ninja Force in Classified. We've got Stormshadow (even though he was hard to get ahold of) and Nunchuck coming up.
I'm 46 years old in a couple weeks. I witnessed the entire 80s and 90s and all their fads. I don't remember pogs at all. They must have been for the kids that were slightly younger than me because none of my friends had them or cared about them. I never even heard of them until that Simpsons episode where Milhouse was like "Remember Alf? He's back. In pog form."
I'm seven years younger than you and remember them becoming a thing around fourth or fifth grade. So you would've been nearly out of high school and yeah, I don't think 17 and 18 year olds would've cared about little circular pieces of cardboard with cartoons printed on them. Hell, I barely cared about them as an elementary school kid. They just seemed so primitive in a time when Super Nintendo was already a thing.
I love that the dude thanked you with a custom figure after you put him in a previous video getting him more subs.. I love cons, i missed out on this months one, because i was to late getting a table, not toys mind you, i do comics. love toys, of course, i mean, that's why we're here :P
Great video as always, Dan. Personally the haul I liked the best were the ones at 35:30 from Spy Monkey Creations! They really capture that 80s look and vibe!
FYI. Those Screeches seem to be coming out of the wood work. I know two dealers who are breaking down a case of those and selling them. One is on E-Bay, $28 plus shipping. Toy Dept is the third case I'm aware of that has come to market in the past year. I suspect someone is out there sitting on more. It's probably good you passed on them. These were about $50 a couple of years ago, but now that so many are hitting the market and dealers are competing, so the price is crashing. Great way to get a mint loose screech if you need one... just not 48!!!
I remember Solitaire was one of the only Jewel lords that show up in the gobots vs the rocklords animated movie , I believe her and nugget are the first ones you see
I had enjoyed the Toy Hunting at the Power Con. There were Huge selection of Toys that I saw on your channel. Very Interesting and Entertaining indeed. Congrats on your Big Toy Haul! And thanks Pixel Dan for your Totally Awesome Content!
Hey pixel dan huge fan of your work here thanks for getting me into masters of the universe. I was wondering will u being doing a live unboxing of origins snake mountain loved ur unboxing of classics snake mountain and origins castle grayskull. Thanks and hope to see ya at next year's power con. You have the power!!!!!
@Pixel Dan. When you found the pog maker and you said how they were popular for about a summer in the 90s… Well they were popular way later and some of the hardest ones to find now are the ones AAFES gave out during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. What happened was there was a shortage of American coins and shipping large amounts of coins was heavy and expensive they started printing pogs in place of coins. As the war drew closer to closing they told us we had till the end of the year to cash them in before they lost value. Interesting enough only nickels, dimes, and quarters were made. No pennies because no taxes downrange so nothing was ever priced outside of a multiple of 5.
I swear I thought when your wife said "If you're going to buy 48 Screeches", she would finish that sentence with "you better figure out other homes for 47 of them." :D Great video!
I have never been to power con, and im die hard masters of the universe fan, u should see my mancave lol, great video, now definitely ill go to next power con whenever they come to Anaheim, ca
I ruined my copy of the Mortal Kombat Trilogy insert from EGM with the Milkcap Maker when I was young because I *REALLY* wanted some Mortal Kombat pogs. I still kinda do.
Hi Dan , Im looking for some figures i really cant remember there name i dont even know if they exist Lol , but i remember they look like the MASK figures small and if you put them in hot water they change apparence to transparent ,they had vehicles that fired torpedos or i think ,and thats it.. cant remember if they were bootleg ,original or a dream
6:21 does that Castle Grayskull up against the wall have arms and legs.
That's a new obsession.
0:06 “Masters del Universo” TShirt 😍😍😍😍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 un fuerte abrazo desde España!
I love that you added - Stina’s “Why??” That made me laugh so hard … I would soo be needing a Jiminey Cricket Stina in that moment too …
Lucky she wasn’t around when I bought a lot of Vintage MOTU new old stock ‘Light switch covers’ 😮
I put my animator thru it's paces. I went thru hundreds of batteries and wore it out. Loved it.

You just earned your green power ring. That was an incredible display of willpower. I would've bought everything in sight.
I have been waiting to see your PowerCon video. I was there on Saturday and walked through each vendor atleast twice and still felt like I missed some of the things you showed here. Thanks so much for featuring so much of my table! Was an honor to meet you after watching your stuff!
Love Dan Larson was right across from you lol and very cool seeing all the vintage boxed & carded stuff. And wow sealed MOTU cases!
I’m glad that you enjoyed the gifts. I hope you slowly grow your Small Soldiers collection.
I also hope you get Cody and Brandi to autograph those Barbies.
Such a great haul of a whole variety of figures and customs

Thanks for posting my Duncan Donuts cosplay!
I was also the person at the end of the show that dropped off the Remco Guana!
Also seeing that wild orange triceratops bird , they would go GREAT with each other
30:21
That's a Remco Warrior Beasts figure. Slightly better quality than Galaxy Warriors. Easily mistaken.
I love that you got the cuffs, man! Full circle and I love it
Great show and finds! I need to attend for sure next time

@@thenostalgiabusiness Yeah I graduated high school and started college at age 17 in the summer of 1995 so I had my mind on lots of other things. lol
Yeah pogs were definitely mid 90's ish, so for us early 80's kids we were "Too cool for toys" by then
I love that the dude thanked you with a custom figure after you put him in a previous video getting him more subs..

I found one of the Jewel Lords in the 90's at a garage sale and had no idea what it was. It was Solitaire.

Agree, a sensible reseller would trickle them to market to keep the price high, if all at once then its going off a cliff return wise.
Power Con was like Christmas come early for you. 😂😂😂
I remember Solitaire was one of the only Jewel lords that show up in the gobots vs the rocklords animated movie , I believe her and nugget are the first ones you see
Wyatt Rose’s art, Pixel Dan!! Thank you!!
Thanks for showing off the battle cat, that was super fun to sculpt!
That display behind you is incredible!!!
I had enjoyed the Toy Hunting at the Power Con. There were Huge selection of Toys that I saw on your channel. Very Interesting and Entertaining indeed. Congrats on your Big Toy Haul! And thanks Pixel Dan for your Totally Awesome Content!

awesome convention, I have been thinking of buying some of the biblical adventure figures for a while, cool to know they were at the convention
@Pixel Dan. When you found the pog maker and you said how they were popular for about a summer in the 90s… Well they were popular way later and some of the hardest ones to find now are the ones AAFES gave out during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Pogs were the only fad I ever fell into.. 1995ish... I had 10 tubes full and like 20 slammers
I’m gonna guess the guy with the rock lord had no idea what he had 😮
Stena is the best. You are lucky to have her!
Great video Dan I hope one day to go to the Power Con i love everything about MOTU but also customs
If I repeated that commercial as a kid, I'm pretty sure I would've gotten in trouble for "polish this!"
Powercon is the best! I hope it comes to LA again
You know Godbeast would have made you buy that box of Screeches and sell him the extras! :D
I swear I thought when your wife said "If you're going to buy 48 Screeches", she would finish that sentence with "you better figure out other homes for 47 of them." :D Great video!
Hey so are you going to make a video on the fan vote on the playsets with freight zone
I hope Griffin sees this stuff
Love it!
I have never been to power con, and im die hard masters of the universe fan, u should see my mancave lol, great video, now definitely ill go to next power con whenever they come to Anaheim, ca
I had the milk cap maker. I made some playboy caps as a kid lol
I ruined my copy of the Mortal Kombat Trilogy insert from EGM with the Milkcap Maker when I was young because I *REALLY* wanted some Mortal Kombat pogs. I still kinda do.
Powerful Living Rocksss!!!
48 Screeches?!? Dan you know why you didn't buy the case of them. We all know why. Stina would have beaten you like a Cherokee Drum brother. LOL 🤣
I just saw the movie The Bloody Man. Alright Mr Principal I had those 2 wrestling figures when I was a kid lol
Unopened cases of vintage MOTU figures almost confirms that rumor of a forgotten truckload of vintage MOTU figures somewhere in Europe.
I spot a massive drop in vintage prices (Same as MASK), although Origins dropped the prices of a cliff anyway
I really love your channel. I love your voice. I think you are really cool. Best toy channel ever.
Pixel dan my favorite toy collector!!!!!!!
Man, had SO many Pogs lol
OMG Solitaire for only $12 is a steal!!!
Fun episode. -Dustin
Awesome

The pokemon he man figures were my favorite from this video
Eternia Dreams..... 👌🏻
Am I wrong or is that box of 48 Screeches a fantastic investment? Each one could be sold for over $200, right?
not even half that per ebay listings.
So wait.. is that Jewel lord/ Rocklord an original or a custom piece??? If it's an original for $12 you scored big time.
I never understood pogs.
22:10 That's a good woman right there boys.
The wife had to crash the party. We now know where Dan's limit is at.
Pogs was not popular in anyway in NY. I’m a 80s kid.
❤️🥰🥰
She's right you know...
