how fucking good was that????!!!!!!! I was expecting a version of that Hozier's "take me ........" this is classic Sinead, just when you thought she had faded away she comes back with quality and class - "but not the ones that hurt" - just love that line.

Jesus, tonight ‘n’ tomorrer, every nano second, every psychic/physical inch of this performance. Lyrical perfection, Punk poetry, power punch confessional and raging lament. So much of who she is, liminallly now, forever then, musically alive and that stridently rhythmic physicality, phenomenal as the song. Everything everybody, everything is here, all of it on show. Just look to Sinead’s face, there’s no denying she’s ‘telling you’! Every nano, meta moment of what she’s bestowing, breathtaking… believe me, this doesn’t happen very often. Gx

Absolutely Brilliant. Sinéad is AMAZING!!!
For those who say sinead is miming, the implication is that the singing is too good to be done live, so that is quite a compliment. I am not seeing the miming. I have been as objective as possible but I am a pretty staunch fan so there will be some bias in there somewhere. I have gone over it and you can hear and see her go off the mic. I have got to say thanks though because it gave me the opportunity to really study what she does and she is brilliant!
This is Jools Holland show, there is no miming. You're either good or you're shit on the show and I've seen some shit ones before in their honest glory.... It's that simple. Basically you're bang on, it's a HELL of a compliment.

The thing is that the backing vocals just are doing most of the work, c'mon. I'm a great fan of Sinéad, but this is a terrible performance. The album as well, and I had high hopes after "How About I Be Me".
