Just rewatched this inspirational video two years later. Thankyou so much for the in-depth examination of 5he workshops and the results in your sketchbook. I guess Marc was using Piemontite for the shadows at the base of Atlas Bar
The combination between Veronica Lawler's instructions and the view into your sketchbook and what you made of it is really interesting. Thanks for sharing!
Great to see all the ink sketches of your exploration with Veronica's techniques. So many beautiful results. I'm inspired now to go out and explore. Thank you for sharing this symposium in such depth. Wonderful!! :)
Hi Anne, I'm Patricia from Gran Canaria. Thank you so much for these wonderful videos... It's a magnificent reportage... I've learn a lot with them... I also took Veronika Lawlor's workshop and it's mazing to see it through your eyes, since you have capture a lot of aspects that I miss. I hope to see you soon in the future to sketch together!!!
I think he is using a Winsor & Newton Sable # 7 pointed round and a Da Vinci sable # 4 mop brush. In his book The Urban Sketcher that is what he says he carries with him.
Great video! Thanks for sharing! I'm watching from Washington State, USA!

I love how you bent the Chinatown arch and the acrylic markers with the ink. The sketch on the newspaper is terrific!
Your thumbnail pen work is great . Has loads of character and style .
Really enjoy your videos. Thank you. It's great to hear your thoughts on the different items and I do admire your sketching style.
