    Having both SATA and SSD (2 drives) - I wonder if the BIOS would let you boot into Windows (a single drive) OR boot into Linux (A second drive) simply by making a setting change in the bios. I am thinking yes, it would be that easy. Would be nice to see a review of the bios and how easy it is to boot two different operating systems.

    • @TechCritter
      @TechCritter  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't have the exact details about this laptop's BIOS in particular but I've been doing dual-boot on another ASUS laptop with one OS on one storage drive. Linux and Windows.
      I expect this laptop to be able to do the same - just change which drive to boot from and it should switch.

    Can anyone share what changes or your best settings for your screen on your Expertbook? At least for the ones with the entry level ones. I'm not an expert on gadgets obviously and just wanting to see some solutions. I find it a bit yellowish and would love to change to to a more white look. Thanks in advance

    Hello!
    I have a "new"( 2022 December) B1400C laptop (corei5,intel iris XE,, 24GB ram). I use it usually for internet browsing and watch movies. But my battery only lasts for 3 or maximum 4 hours. Windows 10 OP.
    What dou you think what causes this short running time ?
    The manufacturing date matters for the battery liftime? MFD: 2021. 07. I bought it in 2022. december.
    Thank you for your answer.

    You said something about its not really suited for your creative works. Do you mean its not advised to use the laptop for digital drawing programs? Or did you meant something else.

    • @TechCritter
      @TechCritter  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exactly that. Digital drawing apps like Corel and Photoshop require more CPU power.

    Hey I would like to know how is the sound quality of the audio speakers !! Thanks alot

    • @quallzone6219
      @quallzone6219 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sound quality is decent with 2 downward-angle speakers at the front corners. Out of the box, sound will seems very flat and low, even at 100% volume. You must use the DTS Stereo Sound app (bundled with the B1 software) and switch to Music, Movie, Gaming or Custom settings to turn up the volume to the Asus B1's true maximum potential. It makes a BIG difference!
