As a recent norse pagan, I just want to thank you for all your guidance and letting me know that I'm not alone. I recently tried talking to the gods for the first time, and found myself speaking to Odin. I sat down and just talked for a while, then when I finished, I had noticed that right by where I had settled, there was a piece of wood which was the perfect shape for a staff. I spent the next few hours whittling it and then placed it into the ground to mark the spot for Odin. When I was leaving, I turned back to the spot where I had placed it, and two ravens had landed there, and I knew then, with most certainty, that the allfather was with me.
“I feel so alive!!” “Isn’t this what religion should be?!” I flashed back to any time I’ve been in the forest and amongst nature. How powerful it feels.. I’m ridden with emotions.. good Gods my friend.
I don't know if you'll see this since its on an old video but yesterday something strange happened.. never in my life did I want or wish to be religious.. but something began to pull me to paganism, specifically irish celtic paganism.. however, I also always loved Norse. I watched this video and had this overwhelming urge to go outside, I took my socks off and grounded myself as I walked through my garden.. eventually I got to a flat space and shouted into the skies, thanking The Dagda and Odin, asking for some sign on which pantheon i should follow and I waited.. I felt an impossible rush of.. well its hard to explain, I felt like I was truly connected to life, like this whole time I'd just been floating on the surface but now i was fully submerged in life itself. For a while I saw nothing, this wasn't discouraging but I thought I might as well go back home. The moment I turned around my heart stopped, in front of me was an ancient set of pipes my family had long forgotten. It was in the exact shape of the Celtic Trinity Knot! I couldn't believe my eyes! Coincidences can happen but this was pushing it! Then as I turned, i looked upon a tree and its branches made the symbol of Odin! Both Pantheons had sent me phsycial signs that they were real and they were here! I laughed and shouted up to them, praising both pantheons! I can safely say I'm probably an official Pagan, im going to study on it more and focus on a mix of different pantheons.. I feel like many gods deserve my prayers and time. I'm still riding on the unimaginable high I got from that experience.
I LOVE your point about the accessibility of the local spirits. We have tons of seals around San Francisco and I find myself in frequent conversations with selkie vibes...anything from me gushing admiration of the shoreline to lamenting something acutely painful at the time...they always embrace it with incredible sweetness...and their immortal words I feel planted deep in my soul, for me to dive to receive in meditation or ecstasy some time...
I am 34 years old….I’ve been a Christian my entire life, but for years I’ve felt a pull elsewhere. I don’t know how to put this, but lately I’ve been searching for an answer to this continuous pull. I know I feel connected to nature. I have many pagan friends, but where I’m from, Norse paganism is rare. I met a guy though at my current job. He is Norse pagan, and I’ve had many religious discussions with him. I didn’t know where to begin, so I started searching. It led me to you. I’m now on my way to knowing more and following my true path. I’ve spent years in persecution wondering if I was good enough for the god I was raised to serve all bc I was gay. I don’t have to do that anymore. That brings happy tears to my face. I don’t know where this path will lead, but I am truly pulled toward Norse paganism. I’m so lucky to have nature so close by, and I’ll hold a blot to thank the ancestors that there are others like you who can remind and open me to their energy. Such a powerfull video. I myself have recently discoverde a beautifull forrest close to my home where I shall go to praise the gods. Although one bleak point this week is the cancellation of a small gathering of friends for the feast of Ostara. But even the times of this outbreak of the corona virus we have to have faith in the gods that they will look after us and guide us to prosperity and health. Sköl!!!!!
There's a park and a dock in my neighborhood, and whenever I go jogging I stop there to catch my breath and chat with the gods. I haven't actually heard them speak back yet as some make it sound, but I do feel a presence while I ramble about how things are going and how I need to do more. I do take pauses so they may respond if they wish, but usually just the wind picks up and sadly I don't speak wind.
I asked Odin for the knowledge of how to build a better relationship with the Gods and he lead me to this video. Thank you making the content you do. It's amazing to be a Norse Pagan!

I loved hearing the shouting here. Sometimes i feel a bit silly when im talking with the gods, and i always have to be quiet because the people i live with are not very accepting of the idea of someone in the family belonging to polytheism and paganism, but i hope that someday i can speak as loudly as you to the deities i work with

I want to thank you for your wisdom and how happy I am finally finding my path. Odin visited me before I even knew I wanted to go down this path and I am so glad he did. Having found my way here is the best connection I have ever felt and it feels amazing. I actually had a DNA test done and after finding my Norse roots I had a moment of realization as to why I was so interested in Viking culture and the Norse deities. You have given me so much insight about this path and I hope Odin continues to send me signs and guide me as he has done this far. Praise Odin, Brother!

I have only recently discovered your channel, and only recently discovered the gods. a short while back i had a moment of connection to the world and to the gods, specifically to Mani (apologies i dont know how to do the accents on a keyboard) and to the moon. it awakened something in my soul that i couldnt explain, and it was only after feeling the stirings in my soul from the sounds of the names of the gods that i realised that i had been awoken to this faith, and i have come seeking guidance and knowledge from people like yourself who have travelled this path already. so thank you for your knowledge, thank you for your guidence, and i hope i can call you friend and Folk. until the Hall!

I think Odin has been speaking to me for a year (the entirety of 2020) but I've only just started to listen. He's not been talking the whole time, but definitely in stops and starts. And I know this is going to sound crazy, but I've predicted more than a dozen events this year - some personal and some not. My partner keeps joking that I should tell her what the lottery numbers are because she's found the whole thing uncanny. A close friend has also commented on it. As I was examining my faith this past week and brooding on my connection to nature I decided I needed to stop stalling and start doing. Newly committed to Norse paganism I went in search of a totem I liked for Odin's representation. The one I chose was out of stock. I messaged the artist on Etsy and he told me I was fortunate as he had only just finished some new ones and they'd be available for purchase shortly. It felt like Odin was smiling on me. I don't know where this path will take me, but I know the wisdom of Odin is going to help me get there.

Everytime I had to thing about different complex situations in my life I went to the forest and came out with an almost perfect solution. I was just sitting on a trunk and listening to the sound of nature. Or the gods? Today I know I will find relaxation and wisdom sitting in forests or mountains. I've got a story on feeling the gods. Im a very recent pagan and i had just finished building my shrine. So the first thing i do is pray to Odin to tell him how much im looking forward to this journey and what happens? One of the most enormous thunderstorms I've ever seen in all my 15 years of life with hail and everything hits the second i finish. The most chills I've ever had ever. I promise i am not making this up.
I talk to the Gods every night in prayer form..And I always say good morning to them out of respect. And I thank them for every little thing in between...⚡️♥️⚡️

Near the city I live there's an old germanic ritual side. I always feel a lot of energy there, it's a place where I try to talk to the gods. They once sacrificed animals and humans there but now I guess I'll use it to sacrifice the gods other things, with no blood.

Wow just found the channel and hell yeah what I've been missing! Inspiration! I started to follow the path a while back and the batch of Marvel Movies although good turned it into something else that I didnt feel comfortable admitting I followed, but yet again I am drawn back and yet again I feel revitalised, keep guiding Jacob keep inspiring.
This reminds me of a powerful thunderstorm last year on Mabon and I felt the presence of that powerful Thor energy so strongly. I collected the sacred rain water and used it in future rituals. It felt so protective and sacred.
I was listening to this on my walk to work, nice long walk too and from work. Its the middle of winter and its even colder than usual today. I look up and see 2 ravens flying around ^_^ first Ravens ive seen all winter.

Ravens have always been around me and never understood why and I have recently started to follow the Norse gods and never felt more connected to any gods like Odin
I was at Wal-Mart researching different ways of divination through cards and dice. As I was walking towards the garden section I came face to face with a woman missing her right eye. She looked right at me. I averted of my gaze so wasn't disgraceful to her. It took me a second and then I thought, was that odin? The way she looked at me. I'll never forget
Odin told me to study ymir. I had no idea who he was (I'm a noob). I learned that even through death ymir gave life to everything. And that odin carries a great burden of guilt everywhere. But what had to be done, had to be done. Thank you all father

I've looked into walking trails near me in the past, somewhere to disconnect from modern life so that my spirt can reconnect with the natural word. This happened to remind me I desperately need to try harder. It's beyond refreshing to see how the Gods, and Goddesses have enriched you. Looking forward to doing the same very soon.
Im fortunate because i live on 55 acres amid mother nature.. surrounded by woods and beauty. Funny how you did this video...i was outside earlier today talking to odin..i am new to this faith...i was a devout christian over two decades...it took me moving from a big Northern city to moving to a so called conservative state in the south, to see the truth about Christianity...i was led here. Life is strange that way.

Last night I made my first offering to Thor and he came and I asked him to show me a sign that he excepted my offering and this morning when I woke up there was a storm outside

The wind does not require you to speak back to it, only to hear it.

I have only recently discovered your channel, and only recently discovered the gods. a short while back i had a moment of connection to the world and to the gods, specifically to Mani (apologies i dont know how to do the accents on a keyboard) and to the moon. it awakened something in my soul that i couldnt explain, and it was only after feeling the stirings in my soul from the sounds of the names of the gods that i realised that i had been awoken to this faith, and i have come seeking guidance and knowledge from people like yourself who have travelled this path already. so thank you for your knowledge, thank you for your guidence, and i hope i can call you friend and Folk. until the Hall!

I think Odin has been speaking to me for a year (the entirety of 2020) but I've only just started to listen. He's not been talking the whole time, but definitely in stops and starts. And I know this is going to sound crazy, but I've predicted more than a dozen events this year - some personal and some not. My partner keeps joking that I should tell her what the lottery numbers are because she's found the whole thing uncanny. A close friend has also commented on it.
As I was examining my faith this past week and brooding on my connection to nature I decided I needed to stop stalling and start doing. Newly committed to Norse paganism I went in search of a totem I liked for Odin's representation. The one I chose was out of stock. I messaged the artist on Etsy and he told me I was fortunate as he had only just finished some new ones and they'd be available for purchase shortly. It felt like Odin was smiling on me.
I don't know where this path will take me, but I know the wisdom of Odin is going to help me get there.
I’m actually very shy so I commend you in how you’re able to openly express your faith without fear or worry. I hope to be like this someday but I’ never do then I will worship and speak more reserved

Everytime I had to thing about different complex situations in my life I went to the forest and came out with an almost perfect solution. I was just sitting on a trunk and listening to the sound of nature. Or the gods? Today I know I will find relaxation and wisdom sitting in forests or mountains. Not only to listen to beautiful nature but to the gods as well.

I've got a story on feeling the gods. Im a very recent pagan and i had just finished building my shrine. So the first thing i do is pray to Odin to tell him how much im looking forward to this journey and what happens? One of the most enormous thunderstorms I've ever seen in all my 15 years of life with hail and everything hits the second i finish. The most chills I've ever had ever. I promise i am not making this up.
I talk to the Gods every night in prayer form..And I always say good morning to them out of respect. And I thank them for every little thing in between...⚡️♥️⚡️

Near the city I live there's an old germanic ritual side. I always feel a lot of energy there, it's a place where I try to talk to the gods. They once sacrificed animals and humans there but now I guess I'll use it to sacrifice the gods other things, with no blood.
The passion you convey is how I feel when I’m kayaking down a stream or river and I feel Odin wandering the nearby forest lands.

Wow just found the channel and hell yeah what I've been missing! Inspiration! I started to follow the path a while back and the batch of Marvel Movies although good turned it into something else that I didnt feel comfortable admitting I followed, but yet again I am drawn back and yet again I feel revitalised, keep guiding Jacob keep inspiring.
This reminds me of a powerful thunderstorm last year on Mabon and I felt the presence of that powerful Thor energy so strongly. I collected the sacred rain water and used it in future rituals. It felt so protective and sacred.

I was listening to this on my walk to work, nice long walk too and from work. Its the middle of winter and its even colder than usual today. I look up and see 2 ravens flying around ^_^ first Ravens ive seen all winter.

I was at Wal-Mart researching different ways of divination through cards and dice. As I was walking towards the garden section I came face to face with a woman missing her right eye. She looked right at me. I averted of my gaze so wasn't disgraceful to her. It took me a second and then I thought, was that odin? The way she looked at me. I'll never forget
I recently starting converting to this faith, I walked outside to try to connect and saw 2 ravens flying above where I was walking
Odin told me to study ymir. I had no idea who he was (I'm a noob). I learned that even through death ymir gave life to everything. And that odin carries a great burden of guilt everywhere. But what had to be done, had to be done. Thank you all father

Im fortunate because i live on 55 acres amid mother nature.. surrounded by woods and beauty. Funny how you did this video...i was outside earlier today talking to odin..i am new to this faith...i was a devout christian over two decades...it took me moving from a big Northern city to moving to a so called conservative state in the south, to see the truth about Christianity...i was led here. Life is strange that way.
