I realize this is a few years old vid. But i had the issue where i suddenly had no sound going to my left headphones earpeice. Obviously the headset works cause im watching this on my phone.
Ive got Realtekaudio. Ive checked basically everything you've already mentioned in this vid and ran a troubleshoot and it doesnt detect and issue. However when i play a sound test in the Realtek Audio console the Left ear sound plays in the right and the right plays normally in the right. Im not sure whats going on as it just happened suddenly without warning.

If both left/right slider is locked, you should try this:
    1.Open CMD, type "regedit"
    2. Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Bluetooth\Audio\AVRCP\CT"
    3. Double click on "DisableAbsoluteVolume" and change value data to 1(Base Hexadecimal)
    4. Now restart the PC.

I have a headphone set. When I plug it into the front of my computer, it works great. When I plugged it into my physical volume mixer, (Arion Legacy) it flips the two speakers for some reason.

  •  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Yeah but if you ever lower your volume and turn it back to 100 it just resets to the unbalanced setting of both sides being the same.
Then you need to come into the Balance panel and to set it yet again.
Isn't there an option for this balance thing to stay fixed?

Reader with an audio issue: Did you just update to the windows 10 version called 2004? Then check if there are more updates. I just updated to W10 v. 2004 and the right ear of my headset was louder, then I fixed the balance like shown in the video, but that didn't feel right. So I checked for more updates and there were two more aaand updating those fixed the issue.

All my audio is slightly panned right ONLY out of interfaces, what is this?
I was using my Hyper X cloud 2's until last week where I decided to get my condenser Mic and interface out.
I noticed immediately that the right ear was louder, or about 20% panned right.
I thought it was because i was using a headset so I tried my Beyer 770's. Same
I bought a new interface TWICE and the audio is still panned slightly right. This isn't an issues with My hyper X plugged into it's own usb contoller, no panning.
    I tried
Asio drivers, No drivers, DDU'ing Realtek drivers
    Different ports, motherboard options
    3 Pairs of Headphones
Tweaking windows settings, making sure balance was correct etc
3 Different audio interfaces, UMC22, UMC204HD, Lexicon Alpha
Nothing works and it makes no sense

This is nice and all but it still bothers me because elsewhere my headphones have unbalanced audio, I can tell when I turn them on and hear the bluetooth voice, but I can just balance the audio in my phone. It still bothers me.

i balanced the sound with your help but i noticed that the low sounds are much louder on the left side.
