Entered. The snap release technique is the one I've started using this year. Not only have I gained distance, but also tightened up my dispersion too. Nice video Alex👍
Briefly Alex, six years ago I was a 2 handicap, fell and hit my neck walking off an elevated green, and dissected the left artery to my brain. And then 3 strokes as the clots broke free. 37 days in the ICU, with only the image of once again walking down Hogan’s alley to drive my recovery. Alex, I promise there’s a point to this tale: There’s no substitute for good coaching and hard work; and today my drives flew 250 yards beautifully, with the slightest of draws, as I did what you have put up on TH-cam. HEAR THAT EVERYONE! Fantastic. BTW. I’m 68 years old, and am so proud that all the practice is paying off on the course. It takes effort to feel a good strike and your series has given it back to me. 6 years. 68 years old. And have also had the same Coach for 30 years. And this last video put all of your lessons together and had me swinging through to finish touching my back putting my driver on a beautiful track. Thank you again, Alex. Hmm. How about a bit of help with the attacking irons (7-9). And to anyone who wants to truly play our wonderful sport well, appreciate that Alex is deservedly a Top 50 coach. Sorry to go long. Today was a joyful experience that I wanted to share. Best Regards, Chip Berman
Entered.. I'm a new golfer but told at the Veterans event I got invited to that I look like I've golfed minimum of a year.. I'm getting older and in need of something to keep me in somewhat good shape and the complexity of golf really intrigued me and now really trying to get into it alot now.. love your tips and tricks!!
Entered. I have been playing golf for over 20 years and propably have watched golf videos for almost as long. Those didn't stick with me at all before this season when I saw you on my recommended and spent couple evenings devouring your content. It was your drills that made me go change my very raw and unreliable swing to much more fundamentally stable swing. Haven't played a bad round whole season, thank you a lot.
I have been golfing for 36 years and teach people to golf in the 90's. But I can't do that. I usually don't get what other instructors are telling me in demos. But I understand Alex. Hope springs eternal.
I'm not gonna lie , ive watched a lot of golf videos and this one did it. it clicked. i finally realized the feeling i need. i play lot of tennis still and it's almost like the feeling of hitting if backhand with topspin in a way. the way you get your hips to add power. thank you so much, i really appreciate this video. the bag reference really got me to understand the feeling.
entered. Alex, I've seen tons of teachers on TH-cam. Your tips have been spot-on to address my issues, including this one. My worst, most frustrating swings, I realize I'm stopping my follow-through. "Swishing" the club through to "tap your back" and a WAY TO GET THERE, so that's the mission, all the time - BRILLIANT! I've been beating balls for ages, trying to figure out what to do, and your tips clarify the mission, the expected result, and how to get there. Also love "pull the right foot back so the the toe is level with the left foot laces" - I have struggled with my set-up forever! Can you do a video specifically for set-up and pre-shot routine? How about this - What's your ATTITUDE when you're approaching your ball, and what do you think about and how do you execute, start to finish...how do you make your brain and body work together? I've always said, "the brain is the worst thing ever made for golf". Show me how to reverse that paradigm. I, and I think ALL OTHER GOLFERS, will very much appreciate it! I can't wait to get to the range, and try this tip!
Entered. Played on Monday for the first time in a very long time and my driver was all over the place. I will have to give this a go to try to help me on distance and direction. Thanks.
Entered. Ty Alex for another awesome tip and video I finally got out on the course Monday and using and following alot of your tips and drills I shot 7 shots lower then normal. Your tips and drills do work..ty so much Alex
Entered. Thanks Alex just watched your lesson. I will be taking this to the course this weekend. Will comment with a follow up to let you know i did using this technique. Thank again.
Entered. I already played earlier today so I will have to wait until the next time I play to try this. I have used what you have shown on other videos and my game has improved. Hopefully this will be another improvement.
Wow, talk about timing! Just today, I started using this snap release (without knowing what it is) and my drives straighten out and flying 230 + yards! Big difference from earlier this year. Thank you Alex for helping me change my swing!!
Entered. Thx Alex so much good information and teaching. I don’t even watch anyone else on TH-cam anymore just you then go practice. Thx so much. And thx for a chance to win clubs. ❤❤
ENTERED!! That POWER SNAP seems pretty smooth. I catch myself getting stressed out trying to remember so many things. But between you and BORGMEIER, Ive gone to the range with POWER THOUGHTS, and ripping it as hard as possible, and amazingly, it has worked 3 out of 5 drives, which I can live with.
Entered. Although I haven't tied the slow release yet, I have to tell you that I have been struggling for years with getting height from my Driver. So put out a video stating that I should line up 6 to 8 inches behind the ball, and from that lowest point hit up on the ball. It has been a game-changer for me, To see the ball fly on a great trajectory and very long too has truly changed my game. Thank you so very much
ENTERED. I watch alot of Golf YT. Seen countless lessons since ive picked up the sport last year. Your lessons are far and away the simplest and easiest to integrate into my game to better it. The 1 thing at a time, short videos have been key for me. Keep up the great work, loving the content!
Absolutely fantastic drill. I have been struggling with drive for over 2 months with a huge push slice. I ran this drill last week dry in my house for 2 days then took it to the course Sat. I had the best driver round I have had in this year and hit a few 300 yard bombs. My push slice was cause trying to control the driver face and not releasing my hands and this drill made a huge difference. I have the drill written on a card that I keep in the bag and will be using these drills every range session and before every round. Thank you Alex.
Entered. Have really been focussing on this over the last few games, and 2 days ago I made around 80% fairways for the first time ever. Swing feels so mellow but I’m getting it between 240 to 260 yards most times, which is pretty good for me. Great stuff.
*The SNAP release is the best way to power up your game! Can’t wait for you to try this!*
