  • The Capris were composed of five teenagers from Long Island that sang doo wop music in the later 1950s. The lead singer Nick Santamaria composed most of the songs that they recorded. Their first hit was "There's a Moon Out Tonight" which was recorded and published on 45 rpm vinyl, but sat unnoticed for a couple of years. It hit the airwaves and became a major hit and a class through today. Second tenor Frank Reina tells Tom the history of the group and of the two biggest hits which remain milestones on their path through the rock 'n' roll universe.
