THIS SONG IS SO GOOD ,ITS A TOP UPBEET DOO WOP TUNE , I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO HAVE BEEN A 16 YEAR OLD IN AMERICA IN ,THE LATE 50,s the Music of that Era ,was JUST UNBEATABLE
Tony Passalacqua singing here is the original lead singer of the Fascinators.... Jimmy Gallagher of the Passions is on the far left.... both in fine voice here
Tony and the fascinators appeared at Lead East the super 1950's event Labor Day in Jersey and they were FANTASTIC! It's amazing how these guys have the same key and sound intact from their original sound. Thanks for posting
James, so you Love that song. That Song is my all time favorite song, It brings back memories from when I was a teenager. I Love it so much I put it on my cell phone so I can hear it anytime!!!
@@michaelwhittaker5432 Yeah but was there a hidden meaning to that step or was it just "eye candy" I notice that a lot of not all those 50' s crooners do a heck of a lot hand / arm waving rather than just stand like a statue! And it had to b orchestrated so each band member was choreographed so everyone looked sharp as they belted out their song!
Can this be one of the first pop songs with lead singer "rapping"? The fact that halfway the song instead of singing he recites the lyrics can be considered an earlier example of what rapping feels like in today's modern context.
It’s a shame more people don’t appreciate this song 😢
I certainly do and always will.💯❤️👍
In my opinion Tony sounds better here than he did on the original

John, was the lead singer of the Facinators, he still has that great lead voice. God Bless Johnny, and the rest of legends of Doo-Wop.
Anthony Passalacqua was the lead of the Fascinators - not John!
