FCB1010 MIDI Foot Controller with Reason: Control Change (CC) vs Note Messages

Today we look at using a FCB1010 MIDI foot controller to program switches within Reason devices. In this video we will program different kinds of switches on the Softube guitar amp device in Propellerhead Reason 10.

and how do you make a note in FCB1010?

You cannot make notes (if you means sounds) with the FCB1010 by itself. You assign MIDI commands/messages(numeric data) to its buttons. It sends that MIDI message to something else. You send that MIDI command to some other software or instrument like a keyboard. You tell that instrument to do something, when that MIDI command is sent via pushing an assigned switch on the FDB1010. For example, you could program a certain FCB1010 switch to send a MIDI message to play a middle C note. Or trigger a loop to start playing in a sequencer. Or hit the snare drum in a drum machine, etc... Learn more about MIDI and how it works, and you'll get it. Its about sending messages coded as MIDI (it is text and numeric data) which you send to the instrument (or any other thing that can receive MIDI messages), telling it to do, what ever you program it to do.

@@uk7769 Thanks I've been having a hard time programming the FCB on guitar rig 5, apparently, it's not getting messages and I can't assign a pedal / patch.
It also does not allow me to assign the FCB as a Midi device
