The bigger the battery the more expensive the car. I have the 50kWh battery MG4 and it turns out that it's range is more than need for 99% of my driving. Easy foot driving rural range a little over 200 miles. It's a great looker and I still wouldn't buy anything else for the money. Thanks for the video.
Been driving mine for a year and although I rely on public chargers (no off-road charging at home) my motoring costs are around a third of what they were with the previous ICE car (Nissan Qashqai). I would never go back; driving electric is another level of comfort and performance.
Nice. I love my Skoda Yeti (ICE) but it's getting to end of life and the MG4 is one of the cars I'm seriously looking at. Many years ago I owned an MG Midget, so it would be fun to own another "MG", even if this has no resemblance to the old classic marque, beyond the badge!
Here in New Zealand purchased my MG4 51 end of September 2023, with govt rebate (now defunded) it cost me £19,300 on road. Driven 5,000km, only charged twice at DC charger total less than £10. 92% of my driving is less than 40km per day. Charging from 3-6am is free for me. A 51kwh battery is fine, it out lasts my bladder.
Thanks for the video, enjoyed it. I had an MG4 Trophy, loved it, great car to drive. The 64kWh battery is more than enough, I could go from W Mids to Cheshire and back on the motorway and still have 1/3 of the battery left. The Trophy charges at 150kW so if you need to rapid charge, you can do so quickly. We really don't need Chevy Silverado size batteries in the UK

I agree, and thanks for the feedback on the car.
Nice to see this variant has a rear wiper and the favourite buttons can each be set to regen mode and drive mode. Heat pump option available?
Not in the UK unfortunately.

I have to say it seems that Australia and NZ have fantastic deals on new EVs! £19,300! Wow. What a great deal!

Thank you for sharing and maybe I am wrong about battery sizes. If how you feel is the norm.
In a word, yes. MG4 Xpower still the performance bargain.
