      You're absolutely right, this technique can be implemented on any plugin. The key is to understand the underlying principles of how it works. Once you do that, you can apply it to any plugin or software, thanks for watching buddy ✌

    Great, finally a Studio One user (like me). Nice video. The manual volume automation of bass will get tedious if it plays more variable note patterns than only quarter notes.

    • @hrmehrfar
      @hrmehrfar  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello buddy! Thanks for taking the time to watch the video. Studio One is truly one of the best DAWs I've worked with. I agree, automation and volume adjustments on quarter notes can get a bit tedious due to their high quantity, requiring dedicated time. For quarter notes or even eighth notes, the best approach is to use LFOs and Envelopes on your synths. Plugins like LFO Tool (Xfer) and Kickstart (Nicky Romero) can be incredibly helpful in this regard.
      Thanks again for your valuable and kind comment!

      @@hrmehrfar great video, I subscribed. I am pretty novice and have a question. Why would you automate ducking or use an LFO tool for ducking over a more traditional compression sidechain?

    • @hrmehrfar
      @hrmehrfar  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@WBradleyRobbins Hello buddy, thanks for subscribing and welcome to the channel! You asked a great question. Before answering it, let me say that using a compressor for sidechain is still an excellent method, both for preventing frequency clashes between kick and bass and for creating that famous sidechain effect.
      The reason to use automation or plugins like LFO instead of the traditional sidechain (compressor) has only one purpose: you can adjust the volume and loudness of the sound dependent on the kick signal. In fact, when creating the sidechain effect using a compressor, the control of the bass sound's loudness entirely depends on the characteristics of the kick (attack, decay, sustain). The compressor doesn't consider how you, as a music producer, want to control the sound; it only takes into account the input sound and controls your bass sound based on that.
      I hope you succeed on your musical journey and create the best music

    4:30 The automation technique for EQ was so cool. I don't have the fabfilter plugins, so can I do that with Ableton itself?

    • @hrmehrfar
      @hrmehrfar  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, you can. In fact, there is no significant difference between Fabfilter's plugins and your DAW's internal plugins. The only reason I used Fabfilter is that I have been working with this company's products for years and it has a lot of users and is compatible with all DAWs. The important thing is which equalizer you are more comfortable with. It can be your DAW's plugins, free equalizers, or even Fabfilter.
