I was honestly expecting a list that would track which characters was able to hit how many switches.
I think a video like that already exists. I think it's titled, how many switches can every character activate with one move, or something like that

It's nice and refreshing to see a challenge based on something other than movement for once, so we have different people on the top for once (like Ganondorf).
And not always Steve or Isabelle or Sora, with their bordeline cheater like moves.
The sound of all the switches flipping at the same time sounds like the sound effects for getting hit in modern Kirby games.
Samus and Dark Samus' attempts sounds like drums
The really slow crawl on the ones like chrom and sheik made me laugh

Zelda, Young Link, and Toon Link were interesting because they pulled the CPU player in from the other side of the stage
Dark Samus, Diddy Kong, Ganondorf, Inkling, Lucas, Mii Gunner, Mr. Game & Watch, Palutena, R.O.B., Samus and Sonic did activate most switches with a Final Smash than 78 Super Smash Bros Ultimate characters.
Hold up, Incineroar's FS causes an explosion on the stage if it connects with an opponent. Just saying, it would've gotten more than zero switches.

I think Lucas has had a good amount of successes in Prowder challenges but it's definitely nice to see those other characters do well here.

Mii Gunner and Palutena did it all active switches.
It's weird how inconsistent these are even among similar 'types' of final smashes. Like, why do Yoshi's and Fox's cutscene triggers do nothing, but Captain Falcon's does? Why does Dark Pit's work well but Link's not? Why do some dashes forward have an effect and some don't?
The one second delay after the Final Smash, before all the switches pop at once, is like an old samurai movie where they slash at each other and freeze in place and then one of them explodes into blood

One of the few challenges where Palutena is top tier
Now all she needs is her own "one and only" challenge.
Disappointed that you didn't show the other versions of ryu and ken's final smashes which activate when the opponent is inside a close activation box. Don't think Ryu's bigger shoryuken would've gotten very far but Ken's combo might have done better than the pillar of flame.

Some of these characters could hit all (or at least more of) the switches with less powerful moves. Steve's mine cart could cross the whole map with enough iron, and Ridley's side B doesn't stop after the grab until he hits the edge of a platform. Or dies.
A fully charged Failnaught crosses the entirety of almost all stages in the game, and Thoron has stupid range.
Ken's Shoryureppa might be able to hit more.
Ike could have hit more if he landed it though, since the final crash of Great Aether has a hitbox

@@Prowder I don't know if you've already tried this, but you could do ranges of numbers for each tier, rather than using one single number per tier. (1-10, 11-20, etc.) That'll surely shorten up the list!

Lucas hit all of the switches in the video, and the PK Starstorm was activated on the far left of the switches. Ness' starstorm always starts in the middle of the stage, so that's why he didn't activate it on the side.

The reason for this is that I really only play as Lucas, and never Ness.

So why were some charecters not allowed to hit anything other than the initial part of their smash? Doesn't exactly make a fair ranking when some are allowed to do the whole thing and others aren't.
