I own a pair of these in grey. I actually love the pockets for mountain biking. Phone fits perfectly in the left one. The position of the cargo pockets means it’s easy to get in them whilst sat on the bike. The two zippered pockets are good for keys etc. The stitching is starting to come apart slightly but that’s with 2 years of decent usage. I might buy another pair in orange they look quite fetching. For £30 you can’t really do much better
Many thanks for such a nice review and idea. I’m a begginner collecting my gear from a scratch and just recieved a perfectly fitting pair (already 2in1, convertibles), maybe not the best option possible but way better than casual trousers and still like 5 times cheaper than MTB dedicated ones.
@@TimFromWales hi! I went further to Endura but only to get windproof winter ones. As I ride XC I went also to lycra for quick summer rides. However I still got these :) perfect for gravel rides and general field activities - moreover just 3 days ago i got second new pair of same :D
Great. I just ordered them in the grey/navy. I love my endura Humvees but anything from the bike shops in the colour I wanted was silly money. I got them more for hikes but will use on the mountain bike. Nice to see a fellow Welshman. 👍🏴
Now I was looking at the other spectrum, norrona they are are a hiking and walking company, now moved over to mountaing biking a bit on the price side but are ment to very good.
As with anything there's so many options - brands vs budget. I'm not one for buying cheap stuff cos its a throwaway price, but I'm definitely a great believer that there are some good quality products out there that are priced far more pocket friendly. They may not last as long or really put up with the abuse of the top quality stuff , but can certainly be better value for money for my use.
Norrøna seems to be nice too, I haven't tried them but I see they are popular amongst MTbers in norway. they got two lines of MTB clothing Fjørå, in htis lien they got several types of pants with different abilities, more breathable, or more water resistant.... Skibotn, but so far only one jacket in that one.
@@TimFromWales thanks for your reply, I wore them for the first time yesterday and although it was quite warm weather I felt that my legs were warmer than usual, they also seemed pretty decent at cutting out the chilly wind we had at one point. All in all a pretty decent bit of kit me thinks.
@@TimFromWales sorry I forgot to add that yeah, they are quite thin so I might try them out in September (ish) but I suspect that they won't be really viable come the winter.
Johannes Nilsen funny you say that - I did it for fun and to show how good and flexible the fit was. Afterwards I realised this was a good pre ride warm up that I NEVER do... Probably 3-4 mins 😁
Winter is back around again and I'm still wearing these . Now how about keeping those hands warm? th-cam.com/video/THc3k9OPbC0/w-d-xo.html

Welcome!
Ive just bought a pair for hillwalking, have you tried them out in the winter?
If so what are they like for warmth and / or wind resistance?
I don’t think they are very warm if I’m honest as they are quite thin.

Do you know what the weight of them are please?
Not a clue sorry - but they are not heavy duty
410 gm(size L)
Hi, do they come with the belt?
Yes fabric one
What sizd should i get, 170cm 72kgs
What’s that about 5’6? Depends on your waistline - I’m a 32 inch waist and 5’9 and the medium is a good but tight fit so might be ok for you
@@TimFromWalesin feet ~5 7 and 158 lbs
What size are you? I don't know what size to order.. I am 1.83 and 70kg..
5,9 and about 13 stone at the moment
Sir...Can I order trek pants
Yes you can from Decathlon
Any room for kneepads underneath?
You could get thin trail pads under I think, but not chunky DH pads.
