Sam is incorrect regarding spirit and physical body that composes a person. The Bible doesn’t teach that at all. God told Adam that when he dies he the person of Adam returns to the dust from where he was composed. No mention of a spirit living on. Additionally Ec 9:5 the dead are conscious of nothing….nothing of them lives on. Jesus was dead for three days after which God resurrected him as a spirit person who eventually ascended to the Father, (aka God). Jesus was in the grave not living on somewhere in another form until he was brought back to life. Therefore Almighty God who cannot die and/or cease to exist is not the Son who died. Additionally unless God resurrected himself after he supposedly died which is nonsensical Sam’s argument is not logical or scriptural.

Sam is incorrect regarding spirit and physical body that composes a person. The Bible doesn’t teach that at all. God told Adam that when he dies he the person of Adam returns to the dust from where he was composed. No mention of a spirit living on.
Additionally Ec 9:5 the dead are conscious of nothing….nothing of them lives on. Jesus was dead for three days after which God resurrected him as a spirit person who eventually ascended to the Father, (aka God). Jesus was in the grave not living on somewhere in another form until he was brought back to life. Therefore Almighty God who cannot die and/or cease to exist is not the Son who died. Additionally unless God resurrected himself after he supposedly died which is nonsensical Sam’s argument is not logical or scriptural.
