    I have been trying to learn all I can about wildland fires and the Yarnell fire in particular. This is the first video I have seen that made it so real and personal. My goal is to hike the Granite Mountain Memorial Trail and Journey Trail in November for the 71st birthday. Thank you so much for all you do. Angles on earth.

    Great tribute video. I was in the fire lines in 2005-2006 with State Fire. Loved every minute of it. Stay safe brothers and sisters

    I've watched Only The Brave 4 times now, and I still cry at the end. God bless their families.

    We had the privilege of hiking the memorial trail this past month down to the fatality site. It was beyond moving. To be there is to feel their spirits. If you ever get the chance to do it - it is well worth the journey.

      He made a mistake that his team their lives
      But as firefighters we agree because of their sacrifice we have become a better community because of it. While we retreat God sends them in to cover our escape.

      Travis Nelson hopefully they will make a documentary about it.

    • @welderse14
      @welderse14 6 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      A documentary will never be done... Only The Brave came out based on Donuts account and the general public is satisfied with that version.. A true documentation would show how there were so many screw ups on the fire that it would also clearly point to those that should /could be tried civilly or criminally.... All levels of government, and the personnel involved want this one just to fade into the sunset.....I have been a wff for 34 years and NEVER seen such a botched operation AND snowjob cover up...
