The rear spray guard has to be removed!
I've just smashed mine of my new 1250gsa!
Unfortunately, it seems that this box is incompatible with the Moskomoto Backcountry pannier, due to mounting conflict.
So this is only for the GSA model, not a GS.

I've just received my Wunderlich EDS box and noticed the rubber gasket sealing the lock cover readily comes loose. Is this normal and should I have to glue it in place?

@@nippynormans2267 I went a different direction… Gorilla Glue. Wunderlich has a good manufacturing reputation, just hoping it hold up with me.
Black ATV silicone should do the job.
