What I hate, you addressed in item 4. The chassis screams for 360-370 WHp, and stock it was lucky to be, what, 215 WHp. What I love about it? Timeless 90's Coupe. Effortless to drive. Long torque curve. Surprisingly reliable and relatively cheap to maintain. The E36 ///M3 US version gets a lot of criticism for not being like the Euro, but, still worthy IMHO.
I think the car should have had about 350whp to 380, which is why I love the turbo! Agreed the US version gets lots of criticism but if we’re being honest the euro version is only hyped up because of the 321hp engine, but honestly I’d rather have a US version. Cylinder walls are thicker and allow for boost. An option I would take any day!
@@alexkichigin Really the biggest issue is that the European version is way too expensive and less accessible to most people. On top of that they're a collector's item, so driving it a lot, driving it hard, modifying it, and pretty much anything you do to it will make you lose a lot of money. If you get any engine trouble, you're done for, any eu spec s50 part is 10 times more expensive than the equivalent on the us spec engine or on an m5x, the engine itself is worth 7000€ USED, that's probably almost 8k USD...
Agree ! Two weeks ago got my self m3 , white convertible. First and only project car . So stoked...
Awesome! These cars are becoming more and more rare everyday, definitely need to be preserved as much as possible!
What are your wheel specs here? Looks mean!

So much “agreed” there😂
Can you suggest where I can look online for these cars to purchase? Also where can I source engines?
Facebook marketplace is definitely the best place to look for!
Your daily ?
Yep
