    Hey guy’s, I’ve been watching a long time now.
    I started running charters out of Anna Maria island Florida in 1994. My girlfriends family owns AP Bell fish co. I have numbers from 20 different long line and shrimp boat captains. You guys impressed me so much with your ability to teach. That’s what I do, I give fishing lessons.
    I was paralyzed 2 years ago but I’m gaining my ability to walk again. I’m boat shopping myself.
    I cannot say enough good stuff about you guys.
    I was just going to compliment the fact you don’t “Wrap” you boats. I hate drawing attention to myself.
    I already get followed enough.
    I’m going to meet up with you guys in a year or so.
    You are soo good for the industry and I sincerely appreciate your attempt to educate others. Just don’t tell them everything 😂.
    Be safe and catch ‘em up boys. I’ll be watching
    Profile picture is AP Bell Fish Co. Cortez, Florida

    Great show once again gentlemen! Rush, you acquired an incredible fishing machine! Your 3 mile smile attest to that. I am very happy with the shows success! Keep 'em comin'!!!

    Cool video. Very interesting that commercial boats or trawlers would allow you to get that close to them. I am surprised your partner from CA didn’t tell you the same.
    If you ever pulled that in SF waters trawlers would cut your lines. If they knew who you were your tires would get slashed. Interesting how east coast fishery is different with rules of the road.
    Anyway great video, like all your content. Have learned a lot from you all.

      In SF they would cut their lines but in Florida they’ll shoot you down 😂

      @@alfredosuarez3128 I guess. Still not sure why they are doing this. Looked like the Gulf, so I am guessing this is common in that area.

      No stress from the fishermen. We often talk and exchange info. They are just chilling on anchor sleeping or rigging and they don't mind if we slide in at all. It's super common in Florida and the Gulf States.

    Beautiful boat, what do you think the weight is fully rigged out and what kind of cruise numbers are you getting?

    • @LocalKnowledge
      @LocalKnowledge  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Close as we can figure a wet and ready 32' is about 12,000 pounds. Cruise is around 38 mph at about 1.2 mpg.

      @@LocalKnowledge Thanks, do you mean Rush's old 322z or the new 340z?

    Ali or Rush, what is the spinning rod you’re using on the episode to catch the heavier fighting fish?

  • @12babyapes59

    A ten pounder bent my Graftech 60Lb rod , I thought I had something bigger, last week on the San Diego.

    Did rutchie not get the seakeaper?

    • @LocalKnowledge
      @LocalKnowledge  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not in this one. He trys to keep his boat light for making bait in shallow water.

    • @GettingBentWithBo
      @GettingBentWithBo 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LocalKnowledge That makes sense. Still a frikkin sweet sled though! Those seakeapers are a gamechanger though for sure.
