As a roofer my self, I do know what it’s like to drive so far everyday, and to only solve a problem in 10 minutes or just to give a estimate, it’s not easy and that’s one of the reasons why roofing is expensive!!
I like the driving aspect of your video!
I was not paying attention to who commented. It puzzled me why someone would say something like that and then I saw it was you. (Vida is my youngest daughter, and she knows I hate driving)
Can turbo polyseal be applied to a roof while it's still wet or does it need to be dry first?
You have my utmost respect for driving all that way and back to fix those two leaks. I really hope there's no more. Your energy level is inspirational, next you need to tell us what vitamins you're taking. I'm only in my 40s and don't have anything near your strength. Well done.
Can not be applied to wet surfaces
All my life I have refused to take any medicine. Not even the Amoxiiliin for pain killers the dentist gave me or any pain killers. I have taken Nyquil several times to break my Flu fever. but that's it for medicine. I am blessed. I think what drives me is when you give your word to someone, you have to keep it. So I promised the owner to fix the leaks, and I was on the hook. Within 24 hours we fixed the problem
I sure wish you had some partners in Australia!
love you from israel again
תודה

Hey Roof Doc you make getting on and off a Ladder easy, why dont you secure the ladder to the bldg, im terrified to get back on a Ladder.
I guess I am Ok on a ladder after so many years
At what point should the roof be painted?
I'd have that coating all over me. Lol
Great video.
Are you israeli?
What is this shirt? You excited me .. Congratulations on the performance ..
I have friends in Israel that defend the borders in Gaza. They are the 1st line of defense and are called the Rafshads. They visited us a few weeks ago and gave me that shirt. I have been supporting Israel for several years now. I hope to do more.
Take care
Israel is not a country but a terrorist organisation which is responsible for mass murder, rape and forcefully taking lands of innocents. You should be ashamed of yourself for wearing this T-shirt
Good video.
It's very interesting to see the situations like this one that you roofers have to deal with sometimes.
I get this a lot. Almost all the time the building owner would blame the job we did for the leak. But here is the rule of thumb. If it is the leak as before, nothing changed, after working for 3 days fixing all the seams, then logically it has to be something else causing the leak. But the owner never see it that way. They always blame the workmanship. That is why it is super important to go back immediately to check it out, before he gets someone else to tell a different story. Most roofers are not honest, they will try and make a job from something the want to criticize. Hungry people do anything for food
@@FlatRoofDoctorwhere to find this product in Europe? Or similar. We have a problem with leaking on the building's roof. I can send you pictures if you give me an email address so you can see them and give advice, please. Thanks.
The map on your phone at 0:21 is upside down and backward.
i will talk to apple about it. If they would listen. I will let them know you send me
Take care
This is great, the same things we have to do on our metal roof! Thanks a bunch for your fantastic videos!
Good moves ….
Thanks
What did you charge?
Hi Tate. I am still thinking what to charge. Normally I would charge around $800 - $1200 for anytime to go and do a repair. But, since the owner gave me 2 roofs that are over 60k of repairs, i might not charge for this.
@@FlatRoofDoctor good call, thanks fir the general repair fee pricing. As a GC that often does repairs, Ive taken your advice and used the poly products on 3 separate occasions now here in Arcata, Ca (humboldt county) Thanks again.
Nice work! 👌
Thanks
@@FlatRoofDoctor 😉 but of course. Could this poly....be used as a drip screed? Does it attach to anything (metals, woods, cement, stucco...)?
yes it does

has Tom freer replied you?
not that I know of?
I would love to work for you
Hi Saf. I have had many work for me in the past. Some as long as 25 years. My 1 st job was for the late William Buckley Junior. I had no teacher. it was trial and error. You have the advantage of watching videos. No need to work for anyone, Just do it.
The things that are not taught in the videos are the marketing part.
How to advertise
How to sell a job to a customer
How to estimate a job
How to decide what is the right thing to do
What App I use to send Estimates, Invoices.
But doing the work, that is the easy part.
I always think I should make a video on those things too, but it is easier said than done.
@@FlatRoofDoctor yes I'm going to give it my best shot with the help of you're videos thank you for the response very much appreciated will certainly let you know how it went maybe I'll make a video to share
Once again thank you for the reply
