She has referred Aishwarta Rai who was her first runner-up at Miss India 1994, she subsequently won Miss World 1994 and Sushmita won Miss Universe 1994. Glorious year for India!
And then came year 2000, when all the Miss India winners (Top 3) got the title in their respective competition.
Aish was not 1st Runner Up in Miss India '94... They're both winners... Sushmita was Miss Femina India-Universe while Aishwarya was Miss Femina India-World...
No she was. Sushmita actually won Miss India. It was customary those days to have the Miss India winner be called Miss India Universe, 1st Runner up Miss India World and 2nd Runner up Miss India Asia Pacific. Nowadays the World and Universe are reversed. So Miss India winner is now Miss India World and forst runner up is Miss India Universe and the third is Miss India APAC as before.
This condition once again repeated in 2000

Yes! I really like her... She's my bet when she competed in Miss Universe 1994 in my country, Philippines. Her interviews were awesome. She nailed all the questions asked to her especially the final question, "What is the essence of being a woman."
I am a Filipino but I would dare say that anyone of the four Miss Universes from the Philippines is no match to Sushmita Sen when it comes to smartness and intelligence. This woman is so witty and so articulate!

Does her kili kili still smells like sibuyas? My aunt says that when you get near her, you will smell like theres a sibuyas in her kili kili. Maybe that was the reason she won? The judges were hypnotized by the smell. Forget about this esseng esseng of a woman question. Her real essence on that day she won was the sibuyas smell.

I am from the Philippines and I love India in terms of food, people and their culture. Last time I went to Hyderabad was last summer of 2019. Unfortunately because of this pandemic, i wasn't able to return after a year. And it's sad that this pandemic has hit their country very hard. Soon, i want to return to India. Sushmita is an epitome of a beautiful woman in and out, typical of most people of India whom I met 2 years ago.
