The lyrics are kinda adapted to fit the tune and have similar meaning-they sent literally saying "drop it low" and "hit this" but someone at JYP was like yes these are what the foreign kids like
I think one of the fans probably edited the captions to make it funnier. I've been noticing that a lot with kpop videos recently. But these aren't the real translations.
The english lyrics doesn't accurately translate the korean lyrics. They're made suited/similar to it. Saying it like "honestly this is the actual concept/meaning of the song but koreans won't be able to accept it" so the korean lyrics are more toned down😂

yes the lyrics are right. their debut song was about slut shaming and was the anthem the year it came out. they broke every record and were called monster rookies. they literally destroyed the year end awards, everyone was on the lookout for these girls.

Suzy was the youngest member and became super popular acting in dramas and sponsorships deal. which over-shadowed the group, the other members left one at a time and they group disbanded sadly. MissA were JYP rivals against groups like 2NE1. A lot of mismanagement form JYP is what ended the group.

Miss A had such an amazing debut in 2010 and debuted the same year as 2ne1. They are what you call the 2nd Generation girl groups and legit all the girl groups from 2nd generation were all about being WOMEN! Empowered women! In 2009, you had groups like T-ara and 4minute as well who were kind of like the strong women concepts. Girls Generation also rose in popularity in 2009.
Back to to Miss A, it’s really such an unfortunate thing though. I actually really love the music they released and they (just like 2ne1) definitely deserved better from their own companies. But I also can’t blame Miss A for wanting to disband. They weren’t given or had the opportunity to release new music..most of the time JYP would give them older unreleased songs that were rejected by his other huge girl group WONDER GIRLS. So a lot of Miss A fans were really restless cuz they wanted more music from Miss A specifically songs or new songs written for Miss A. But JYP really was slacking especially recent years. Miss A could of been one of the biggest girl groups ever had JYP invested more time in them and giving them quality music. Also, while the girls were waiting for new music..naturally they all started to drift off into different parts of the entertainment industry. Two members Gia (pink hair) and Fei (long dark hair) are from China. So it was kind of hard for both them to really spread the wings in SKOREA entertainment. However, Fei did have a solo release last year and she was on successful variety shows as well. Gia left the group I think last year or 2 years ago and went back to China.
The short hair girl is Min and she’s the main dancer and lead vocal/rapper. She spent a lot of time in dance studios whenever the girls weren’t busy and was contemplating to resign with JYP. Ultimately, she didn’t resign. The girl who you liked with the bangs and pony tail and wearing the dresses is Suzy. Real name is Bae Suji (this is where Suzy came from Suji = Suzy). She really is one of JYP’s most famous artists/celebrity. She ventured into acting and because of her natural beauty mixed with her down to earth personality. She became the nation’s aka South Korea’s first love. She’s one of the richest korean celebrities and has 74827737282 endorsement deals in SKOREA and international as well..BRAND NAMES always call out to her. There were also rumors that the members weren’t getting a long or have grown apart. The girls didn’t even know that Suzy was dating Lee Minho (popular korean Actor), they recently broke up. But the fact that the other members didn’t even know Suzy was dating was kind of weird. So yeah it was kind of sad, but we all kind of predicted the disbandment would happen. JYP has TWICE now and well they’re younger and got popular fast. Suzy and Fei resigned as solo artists in JYP. Also, your fave Suzy just released 3 songs/MVs. If you wanted to check her solo stuff.

It's rare for Kpop react channels to make react videos for old Kpop videos. I became a Kpopper during a time when there were no react videos to it (mid-2000s), so it's refreshing to see these throwback reacts and I really appreciate these videos. I hate that newer channels almost exclusively focus on the trendiest things only and not the true roots.
And lyrics are actually similar but not completely the same. For e.g in the chorus Fei sings "보고서는 끝나니 손가락질하는 그 위선이 난 너무나 웃겨" which roughly translates to "after you are done watching I find it funny that you laugh pointing fingers at me" (basically calling out someone for laughing at you despite them being mesmerised with you before that). Although some of the lines especially the ones with stiletto and hoes is completely off lol
