Then made the campfires because every said minimum 15 so I made 20 then went to place it and chomp
Haha that's awesome! My neighbor is an AC repair guy and let me tell you, when our AC went out, we were SO grateful for AC repair guys! My friend and tribesmate made a huge open three story stable for our big dinos and the argys on the third floor. Built a second workshop up there with an industrial forge. We are relatively close to the volcano. Ends up being pretty efficient. But thank you, thank you for these videos! They helped a lot.

It is pretty crazy to incubate a Wyvern egg. The easiest thing to do is keep adding standing torches until it's finally warm enough. You may need like 20 or more but it will eventually add up to enough heat.
I just surrounded my wyvern eggs with a 5x5 square of fireplaces (five fireplaces side by side) inside a greenhouse and it seemed to work for me some how, you gotta place the eggs close to the fireplaces tho
Yep, you drop the fertilized egg close to the air conditioner, and it will raise and lower the temperature at the same time to incubate the egg. When you look at the egg, you will see either "too hot", "too cold" or "incubating". If it's too hot or cold, you can add more air conditioners, but 2 of them is enough to hatch most eggs :) Just make sure to keep an eye on how soon it will hatch so you can be there when it hatches. You have to feed it immediately or it will starve if you leave it alone. Hope that helps! :)
Thanks Bobby! I wish we had more news on Ark Switch updates but they haven't been keeping us up to date on estimates for when the new Kibble system will come out. For now you can use the Ark Wiki website to look up kibbles and recipes since the mobile kibbles will be the same as Ark Switch kibbles until they update it.

Now I get how these things work! Never really understood why people had a bunch all lined up. It likely won’t come into play now that I’m doing Primitive Plus but if I pop back to a regular game I will be prepared. Also, I started a Primitive Plus game on the Island (which is a lot more beautiful on Xbox) and made a starter raft to get to Herbivore Island- and guess what I ran into there?! A UNICORN!!!! So I had to tame that but I only had berries so it took AGES. I literally had to pause the game so I could eat. Never again...but it’s mine now, and safe!!! Although it prevented me from making a video this weekend. I thought it was crazy that it spawned on the one spot that was completely safe! Any suggestions or tips about unicorns?
Glad this helped! I don't usually bother with air conditioning myself as I prefer to just wear an otter most of the time to keep myself cool, but it really saves time for mass-hatching eggs and building a Tapejara egg-laying factory for kibble production. Everything looks so much better on other consoles than Ark Switch. Believe it or not my good gaming laptop can make Ark look even better than PS4, but XboxOneX and PS4 Pro are even more insane. That's SO awesome you got a Unicorn!! :D It took me forever to tame my unicorn on Ragnarok, and it was about a block away from a Giganotosaurus which I was sure would come over the hill and kill us anytime. That is really awesome you got yours!! So a Unicorn is basically the same as a usual horse only SUPER rare. Only one spawns on a map at a time, and you're super lucky if you find it before it dies. I'd keep it safe on Herbivore Island and make it a nice stable so you never lose it. And if you tame one on another map, you can transfer this one and breed baby unicorns :) I wouldn't recommend taking it anywhere dangerous though since it's so hard to get one.

Wyvern eggs need Extremely high temperatures which is why they usually nest in volcanoes. The easiest way to get that much heat is to make a small room with about 20-30 standing torches. Just keep adding torches and lighting more until it's hot enough to say it's incubating. Just watch out because that much heat will also burn you up lol. Also if your base is in a jungle or in the daytime it's way hotter than the snow or at night. Let me know if that helps :) Also are you prepared to feed the baby Wyvern milk when it hatches? If it hatches without food it will die pretty fast but if you wait to incubate the egg until you have food ready it won't spoil for a while in your inventory.
One thing that could have caused it is the temperature changing with the time of day. It can get way colder at night and hotter closer to noon. For example I was incubating Any eggs at night in the tropical areas with no fires at all but I'd pick them up in the day because it got too hot. Then I put them back out at night again when it cooled off. So if it gets too hot or cold you can add or remove fires, or move it further or closer to the heat. Or just add more air conditioners and they'll take care of any temperatures lol
Oh no! Is the incubator powered and it's definitely not already full of eggs? If it's still not working, you could try picking it up and replacing it. If you're not using S+, you could always demolish it and spawn in a new one with admin commands. I have to do that sometimes when a structure is just straight up bugged out. Let me know if any of that helps!

Actually I should have mentioned that your climate plays a big part in all of this. I always prefer to live in very hot tropical environments. I hatched my first Pteranodon egg on Crystal Isles the ground outside lol

Snapping is when you are going to build a structure and it jumps over (snaps) to line up with a foundation or wall. That makes the game consider it part of the structure when you place it there.

I got 10 AC's units lined up, 5 on each side, and half a foundation apart. Yet my Fire Dragon Egg is still tellin me its too cold.
