The tripod at 36:21 goes to the Laser Leveler at 30:15 most likely also go with the orange roller and poles at 38:04 sell as a package deal. For surveying. Boots easily $50. a pair. Nice unit. Could sell the knives 2 for $10. on ebay make alot off the knives.
The tripod and aluminum slider in the back the next to the tiny grey drawer goes with the vertical laser you found in the black case for surveying and leveling, goes for between 1000 and 3000

Wade, If those are Swiss Army knives they are anywhere from $ 50 to$120 retail in the box, etc. for the wide ones with either pliers or magnifying glass to approx. $ 25-$ 40 for the 2 blade corkscrew McGiver type. The Case and Western in the sheaths are about $ 35-50 each. Contact me once you inventory what's there, knife parts as well if you want to sell it all as a lot. @@WadesVentures I think they are real, and I've had a few in my time. Just look for the word Victorinox at the base of the main blade (or Wenger if some of them are really old - but the emblem seems to be from the former). You should make a thousand bucks just with the knives.

@@WadesVentures Um, I'm old, I barely do you tube. I don't know from instawhatever. Being old and experienced is why I usually know what things are. I've been not only working in many fields over the years, I grew up with old stuff all over, and have been reselling since... way back when, before there was an internet. Had to go to live flea markets then. I wouldn't do it now even if there was a good one nearby. Mostly, I sell on ebay, and some larger items on craigs, or let my wife put them on facebook marketplace. I don't do facebook either, they banned me because I refused to give them any personal info.
@@WadesVentures by the way, I'm serious about that thick Swiss Army knife... I have from the very small ones to the medium, and carry 3 any time I'm out and about (but I also carry a few others as well) It should say Victorinox or Wenger on the main knife blade. I really don't know what they're actually worth these days, but I do know they don't sell particularly well if you want full value. Here's an interesting story for you. I wanted a "MacGyver" knife bad, and my wife wanted to get it for me for Christmas. However, funds were short. Somehow, she got a deal on one because it already had a name on the handle. Turned out, the name on the handle was Dave, my actual first name.
@Howard Black well in your old barn the cost would be low and it would be convenient, but would people show up? If you want to do that, get people there by posting items on craigs, offer up and maybe facebook marketplace. Not all the items, just the major ones, to get them there. Big stuff, mainly. I often wish I still had somewhere to move larger non-shippable items I run into great deals on them all the time, but pass because I have no way to move them store them, (my storage unit is already full of ebay merch) and I don't want to get into another unit with the cost involved. In your barn, well you could do great things. No commute either, and when nobody's there, you can relax in the house if you want. I ran up on a store just like that not too long ago. Had a sign on the building honk for service. And me without a horn that worked... lol, but you could easily put up sensors and or cameras to know when somebody is there. If I had that option, I'd probably already be doing just that. You can also do consignment with other pickers that don't have storage room. That's what I used to do with my friend that had a store, or I would sell him the stuff outright. Sometimes, I wouldn't even buy big stuff, I'd just call him and let him come buy it with his truck and trailer.
@Howard Black oh I've gone into the outfield for estate sales, that's for sure. There is an "antique barn" near me, but they're like never open. That's one thing you've got to do, except in case of dire emergency, you have to be there when your hours sign says you are. Nothing like not being open to put off the customers from ever coming back. Howie, we're both in similar situations, tho at least you have a property to use. I rent an apartment, so I don't have as much flexibility. Instead of taking up space here, you can feel free to contact me direct at tootall1121@yaho.com So the kid likes video games... get him into repairing consoles and buying and reselling video games... can be good money in that for those that know what to buy and what stuff is worth. Then work in the other things. Once he starts making a little money off it, he might really get into it. Me, i know squat about what games to buy so I wind up with a lot of dead ones. Nobody knows them better than a player. I would do a combo of things as well, since you have some room to work with. I'd use EBay for some stuff, then the local things for larger items. There are also sites like Bonanza and Etsy. The only things I could manage to sell on Etsy however were craft supplies.

Hey just wanted to say, really like ur videos. FYI watched a previous video where u got purses in a unit, to tell if they are worth anything, look at the zipper head below the pull part, if it has stamped "YKK" , then its a good bag, if its in good shape and not dirty ?☺
wow you did well with this one. I am new to your channel can you answer this question for me please.......Do you ever do a follow up video telling us what you made or loss on each unit .
Swiss Army knives - score! Even if you only sell them at $10 each (and they are worth more than that) there's your locker paid off already :) Good locker buy.

Nobody knows them better than a player. I would do a combo of things as well, since you have some room to work with. I'd use EBay for some stuff, then the local things for larger items. There are also sites like Bonanza and Etsy. The only things I could manage to sell on Etsy however were craft supplies.
Great finds man. I love storage unit finds!
Thanks Buddy! it was cold but a Blast!
That tripod thing went with the yellow lazer thing, which also is used with the ground stakes to show property boundaries.
At the bottom of the plates you will find a letter and then two numbers the letter is the day of the month and the number is the year .i collect some pieces of of Homer Laughlin
that laser is part of a surveyors transom, and goes onto that pod. Depending on the model and age , it's probably close to a $1000.00+ new.
The tripod you showed probably goes with the laser in the case. Very valuable item.
Those big fat black boots are called bunny boots. We see them a lot here in Alaska. They go for about $75. It looks like you got a lot of great stuff in this unit!
I stand corrected. They are mickey mouse boots. My husband has a pair and they are warm!
Hey buddy the red tool , is a pipe cutter. About $90 to $150. Cost at home depot
At time 27:08 all you really need to know about the ties on the shirts that is if they're made of silk.
And the Swiss Army knife has a cult following .... don’t sell them in too big of lots
An this unit is a 5x10 dear as I am watching you go through things.it looks like he used to work construction as well as maybe resold things?
Hey just wanted to say, really like ur videos. FYI watched a previous video where u got purses in a unit, to tell if they are worth anything, look at the zipper head below the pull part, if it has stamped "YKK" , then its a good bag, if its in good shape and not dirty ?☺
I would look into that does they have the actual pictures of the horses and now all those clippings
yes!! it looks like from the 50s to 60s
Wade, that Laser is money and the tri-pod goesnto the laser in the black case. 😎🤑👩🌾
yes :)))))))
Those brass fitting I believe are for plumbing
wow you did well with this one. I am new to your channel can you answer this question for me please.......Do you ever do a follow up video telling us what you made or loss on each unit .
yes! if you look at my last 3 videos (before this 1) those are follow-ups
Great storage unit. The old swiss army knives with the solid brass colored shield sell for about $70.
Swiss Army knives - score! Even if you only sell them at $10 each (and they are worth more than that) there's your locker paid off already :) Good locker buy.
Thanks Lynda!!! I love your TH-cam picture as well BTW!
Mouse was my nickname when I was a child, I used to take bites out of the cheese and then put it back in the pantry, fridge.... lol These days I'm a little more considerate and use a knife. The look of bewilderment and surprise is me most days - life is good and people like you, so much energy and optimism make it so much better :)
Wade...does Ashley work outside the home? thanks and great video!!
Ash works for a Corp company at home :) (Athletic company here in beaverton. )
Box 1 was pipe conectors and valves for high pressure building Water systems and the red On was a very large pipe cuuter
Salutations from Singapore. Saw your vid ones and get hooked. 😀
The black boots with the writing on them are Mickey Mouse boots and go for about 100 a pop.
pays for a good amount right there!
Nice finds there. Will follow your channel i think.
Thanks Menno!
With just the Swiss knives alone you'll make your money easy.
37:00 Extreme Cold Weather Boot Type 1, also called "Mickey Mouse" boots. Rated to -20°. Was developed during the Korean War. No longer issued by the military. Replaced by the white Type 2 "Bunny" boots, rated to -65°. BATA was the military supplier so what you got is the real deal and not a knock-off. Depending on size, $20 to $150.
@@grumpyoldmarine3480 The small valve on the side of bunny and mickey boots are NOT for inflating, just for pressure equalization in an aircraft. try inflating them and you'll destroy them. FYI
Well.................your definitely in the pseudo Swiss army knife business for awhile.👍👍
You can fix that zip really easy - go to youtube and look for the fork zipper pull video and it will show you how to get it back on - it's easy
At least now there's no reason for looking for a knife also is the baby 1 lot of cuteness x, so uk
I would think the smaller units would be good as people are only keeping what means of costs a lot.
When you get pwrsonal items you give them so when you find something you like why gont you put the item you like give back?
The big brass pieces are gas valves turn on and off biggest end towards main small to house. You can scrap them
The tripod go's with the lazer
Should just sort the knives and list them with quantities.. figure out the shipping and if u list with free shipping and price them so u turn just 1-2$ profit.. long term its gold.
SUPPER good info here Junkin! I will have to get on that soon!
Back in the day, Marlboro smokes came with "Marlboro bucks" that you could save up and buy Marlboro stuff with. Looks like that dude bought LOTS of knives and lunch bags!
WOW! YOU DID GREAT!
36:15 that goes with the laser transit. sell them together.
Yes!!! I have no problem selling on ebay but might even try local.
So cool! I’m guessing you made your money back on the laser.
I think so!!!!
