  • I'm sure I've done like 2 other videos on this but may not be labeled as such it just may be in a video where I was doing something else. that's why it's good to watch all my videos. Never know what you might find. I post lots of silly videos but always try to include some good info.

    Bought one in late 2020 and the printing on it is rubbing off. Hopefully the new ones are printed with better screen printing. No existing printing helps with my memory exercise!

    Hi. I was following up on your Zugo upgrade build. For the 3000 watt motor. Did you have to modify the dropouts on the bike so it could fit the larger axle of the motto? Also do you think a 220 mm rotor would fit on the rear? Thanks

    • @ChrisCrossingWires1212
      @ChrisCrossingWires1212  หลายเดือนก่อน

      No if I recall i think that drop out was 190 I think dam its been so long i gotta double check come back in aboutv 24hrs ill look it up what i put on that bike definitely not 220 tho thats like whats on My Rz thats wide and no it will fit in the drop outs but make sure you get some custom torque plates or use more than one of the regular size. I think the axle thickness is 14mm but if you have a zugo those aluminum drop outs will egg out on you if you run pwr so really reinforce them. I check on the width of the drop out.

    Hey Chris, I wanna get your opinion about my drilled out qs273 axle. 3 - 4 gauge wires with thinned out insulation from a 21/16 moline p42a 330 pack with heavy copper all hooked up to a Fardriver 721800. So I wanna show you my axis and you tell me if it’s dumb or not bad.

      Wow I just happen to be online when you post that so let me get this right. You made the the slot larger in your Qs273 axle by drilling it out and then you shaved the insulation down on the 4 guage to make it fit? I gotta tell you sounds like an amazing bit of work you performed to do that but.......should you have? lol Idk Bro I couldnt tell you how much material you can remove from the axle without compromising its structural integrity. Im gonna tell you Ive never seen a 273 axle snap but I have seen some guys snap axles on 205s that werent even modified. so they hit big potholes at high speeds being heavy and snapped them. So Im not so sure if you should be making it any thinner than what it is. I mean on a perfect road maybe youd have no issues but what roads are perfect and as far as thinning the insulation Im not so sure thats a good thing either. Depending on how much pwr your running they heat up so they could melt the insulation if you made them too thin. My honest answer sounds sketchy as hell but Id like to see it. Got any pics on just how much you removed and how the hell you did it? lol
