That coach was brilliant, respectful, polite and humble. After losing like that it must be so hard to have to face the press. Being able to answer questions in French and English was very impressive. You can see how the captain was still a bit raw about some of the officials decisions. But they were both very magnanimous and didn't bad mouth the officials. I'm sure they are fuming and hurting with some of the decisions. I so hope that this exciting team gets to the Qtr's, it would be so good for the tournament. Everyone that I've talked to thought that this was the most exciting game so far. They are my new second favourite team. COME ON FIJI !

You were absolute heroes to the world last night though ❤ I do think Wales did also play a good game (Rees Zammit was leaving it all out on that field for example)… But it feels so hollow because the decisions the whole officiating team - not just the ref - were so poor, and felt in total bad faith at times.

All things being equal and fair - this should have been Fiji's game! Pacific island teams must play over and above all expectations and leave no room for doubt and excuse as a buffer against bias. Whilst everyone loves the way they play and the entertainment they bring to the game, they usually have to play to a much higher standard in order to ensure the win. Seriously, WR needs to investigate the match Ref/TMO. Its evident, there were some suspicious decisions and referring - inconsistencies and inaccuracies. Time and time again, it felt like Fiji were playing against the Wales plus the Ref - shoulder charges, continous infringements, time wasting, no tries and off sides.
We all know that if Fiji had committed the offences Wales did they would have had 3 players in the bin , there was some terrible officiating in the last quarter of that game and you can tell by the Fijians demeanor that they know they haven't received a fair crack of the whip .

The most entertaining team in the world and the players are incredible role models, so modest, grounded, and play the game like it is 1970s and ghost through rugby league defences like they are not there. World rugby need to market them way more and give them much more money!!!!

As a Welshman, we have had our fair share of disappointments due to bad luck like the Sam Warburton red card against France in New Zealand. We would have won if it had been a yellow card and we should have been in the final to play NZ. We are still crying 😢!

They showed such class and spirit only (especially in contrast to Dan spew-hate-at-my-own-team Biggar and his frenzied assholes) to be done dirty by the officiating. That was the best team and coaching team ever. My word, Fiji played brilliant rugby. As they said they just needed to execute better. Very easy for us to be overly critical. Remember, they were on the pitch and we were seating in comfort. Good game Fiji!!
