something i’ve been putting off making and have finally been facing my fears: GRANNY! SQUARES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
okay YESSS I've loved seeing your granny square journey !!!!
i really appreciate the disclaimer at the beginning. i get overwhelmed when i see how much and how quickly people in the community create things, and even though i've been crocheting for less than a year, it can be depressing to see that i'm really not making much. so thank you again, and i love your channel and your work!
as an avid crocheter been so nervous to start knitting but the fact you have a whole beginner series on your channel has inspired me to start :D
Mine is reading patterns. I've always either made things up or use videos, but I'm now finding I really want to learn to read patterns. So that's my next hurdle. ☺️💛 Loved this vid! Gona subscribe. X
Oo yes! Reading patterns can be tricky at first! Good luck :)
@@madeinthemoment Thank you! 😊I started last night. Found a simple granny square cushion pattern and figured it is probably best to start with something I can already make to get used to following a pattern and learning the terminology! so far so good, but it is a challenge! I want to make socks so hopefully once i've mastered the cushion patterns I can go on to something more complicated 😅
once you learn how to read patterns you feel unstoppable!
@@emilyadams7442 it honestly boosted my confidence so much. 🙌 even managed a pair of socks!! Which was a real learning curve 😂 x
That is so thoughtful of you to think of both crafters.
obsesseddddd with that setttt. the colours are just wild 😍🥰💗
I’ve never crocheted any clothing but I’m attempting to make a crochet top AND crochet pants. I’m really nervous about it but I’m also really excited so wish me luck!
Woohoo! Good luck, I'm sure you'll do great :)
Here for the first time! I enjoyed watching you show off your lovely creations and I'm eagerly waiting to see your mesh top demo so I subscribed. I've wanted to crochet a curtain for my one kitchen window for a long time. Finally started yesterday!!
That super chunky vest is soooo adorable
you are so talented and everything is so pretty and creative 🥰
thank you so much, that's so sweet!
Omggg sooo gorgeous pieces ✨ gonna be making soon
Can’t wait for the mesh top tutorial!!!!
Yay same !! Have to cross some things off my to do list first but I'm hoping to get it out late next week :)
I'm so excited for your knit vest pattern! Been wanting to make a vest with some really pretty yarn that I bought, but i wanted to learn how to properly knit for a while and I keep procrastinating making the vest until I've learned how to knit!
Aww yay I'm so excited! I love pretty yarn :) I also have some other knitting tutorials on my channel so far if you want to start practicing for the pattern!
@@madeinthemoment Heck yeah I will for sure watch those! ^^ The yarn i got is the Hobbii tweed delight one, I bought it when it was 50% off:)
this inspired me so much!!! imma go make some socks now-
Yes everything is so cool!,!
thank you !!!!
i have no suggestions for your video essays, but your voice is nice and you speak really well! no 'uhms'.
You’re so fun to watch! I guess. I need to subscribe😊
i’ve been really wanting to knit a very basic V neck sweater! I’ve never knit anything without a pattern so i’ve been procrastinating starting it because I just can’t seem to find the right pattern for the style i’m looking for!
love all of your patterns and your channel!!
also knitting socks are literally the perfect project for on the go! i just finished my third pair because i’m able to bring them to work and work on them when we’re slow! :)
I know @jaimecreates and @karas.knit.eng on Instagram have some V neck sweater patterns. Could be worth checking those out if you're nervous to try and freehand something!
@@impatientclothing6709 And yes! I totally agree!! Especially when I'm commuting, I always love having a small project that I can work on in 15 minute chunks!
@@madeinthemoment will definitely check them out! thank you!
I’m a new subbie and I love your style! I am super scared of making socks too. Getting around to it soon though :-)
Aww welcome! And thank you so much! Yeah socks were always intimidating to me but they really were not that bad, you definitely should try :)
I'm apprehensive about knitting socks too but I defo want to give it a whirl
there were definitely some tricky bits but I highly recommend! It's been so satisfying to wear them :)
I've alsobeen putting off knitting socks, mainly because I don't have the right needle size for it and I don't feel like buying more needles.
Definitely socks! I only crochet and I really hate working in the round and tiny projects and making things match so socks are like so scary! 🙅🏻♀️
Okay, sooooo I need to make the Adena Cardigan 🫠😍
I've been really wanting to knit socks, but I'm primarily a crocheter. Iv'e crocheted some socks, but not knitted any. I know how to knit a little, but i really want to try socks. I'm just stallling with it.
pls do a tutorial on the boucle top !!
Emma Please made a tutorial of your Bright red and yellow crop top. Thanks
im giggling at our dm’s
I had to include them
Hey, do you plan to do a pattern or a yt video about the crochet bralette? Its really beatifull!!!
I have a pattern in testing for it now! It should be out at the end of the month :)
Love this so much!! I'm also making the Adena Cardigan atm - would you maybe tell me which size you made, just for reference? :)
Yay! I love the pattern! I made a size S and with the lighter weight yarn it was a great cropped length :)
@@madeinthemoment Thank you! 🥰
Do something like “hot take dissection” that can be your way of doing video essays ish
Some thing that I’m scared to make is probably any type of clothing I just started knitting again after having a big break
Can you make a tutorial for the adena cardigan. ???
I really struggle with lace. I want to may James Watts' jumpers, but I can't get the pattern right. I feel that if I asked someone to show me, I would be successful, but I haven't done that yet...
You made a tricereTOP
ive been procrastinating making a sweater bc of my body shape
also magic circle but tbh f*k the magic circle the chain 3 method is better
Have you tried top down sweaters? I find those pretty easy to customize to fit different sizes!
@@sethkirkland6591 definitely has its advantages but chain 3 is a perfect substitute almost always !
Lmao just looked back at this vid and saw this comment and lol I was having a day but I am now working towards making a sweater :)
