I am over the moon for Leon. I watched the replay of that head kick more than 20 times. His emotional speech “look at me now” nearly had me in tears. Couldn’t happen to a better man. I’m delighted. Kamaru Usman was getting too big headed. It will be more difficult for him to beat Edward’s in the trilogy in London. I seriously believe the altitude affected Lyon. That won’t be a problem in London. And also the support will be behind Rocky.

I don't believe the media or fanbase is overlooking how special of a fighter Leon is. Unfortunately for Leon, he is fighting what is pacing to be arguably the greatest UFC fighter ever, which is an incredibly tough hurdle to climb. I wishful for an epic fight, and even though I would most likely cheer for Leon against any other fighter, I see Usman continuing on this impressive run.
Nah, majority of media are saying the same thing which is that Leon is more than likely gonna be a far difficult challenge for Usman. Which is very reasonable because Edwards is very well rounded, good clench work (especially with the elbows), and has gotten a lot better with his wrestling/jiu-jitsu

So wholesome. This is one of the differences between the UK and US. The UK unites behind their athletes. In the US it' completely dog eat dog.
That’s cause there’s only 60 mil people in the UK. So everything’s just naturally more of a close niche circle. In America it’s 350 million people where 1 side of the U.S is completely different than the other. Only time Americans root for another fight the same way UK people root for their fighters is if someone is from the same state as them
Americans as a whole are actually more patriotic than we are in the UK. Proudly displaying your flag is seen as a little cringe over here and i've never really understood why. I always see Americans unapologetically displaying their pride in being American and i wish we did it a little more here.

I love Usman. I get he riles people, but he's a phenomenal fighter. One of the best we've ever seen. However, as an Englishman, I want Edwards to take this one. I'm not generally patriotic but, bring it home Leon. The UK is a force to be reckoned with.
