Imagine you have a sick family member that had a terminal disease. Not a cousin or niece, but your sister or daughter. You know for a fact at some day she will die from this illness and every action you take to either cure or extend her life only delays the inevitable. You accept that she’s going to die in the next year. Then all of a sudden, you encounter a man that says that her illness is not only not terminal, but perfectly curable. He works on a drug that when the sick relative takes, she’s perfectly cured within a few days. That’s the kind of response these characters would have and they nailed it perfectly. This is why Dr Stone is climbing the ranks of best Shounen, not because of it’s heavy action, but because of its excellent story telling and likeable characters.
This show is such a great celebration on how far we humans have come. Thanks to technology and science, we have a chance to change our fate. We overcame so many things and will conquer challenges to come.
@@bamb0ostick That's something I noticed. How it seems to be about both, the amazing things science is capable of and how far it's taken us in the modern world. Plus unlike most other shonen's the goals and methods in this anime are actually attainable. Kind of like Haikyuu showing how much work it actually takes to be a good volleyball player.

i liked that the first few episodes is finding a cure to something that is easily curable in modern society. something that is highly difficult to produce without the proper knowledge and materials in the past.
At first when I took a look at this anime I was curious as to what it was about.
I never thought I’d gain so much interest in this anime as a whole because of how much science stuff is involved.
But that didn’t matter, this anime made learning the science behind everything so much fun.
The first two episodes were enough to make me keep watching.
I love this anime so much and I always look forward to watching more
well just keep watching, the number of characters will grow, and they gonna explore the rest of the world (they visited only one island yet lol)

When a husband devotes his time and effort into his mission to secure the well being of his spouse and family...it is not a form of spousal neglect but another form of love. Well done Senku. Besides Kohaku is best girl anyways.

It's one of those unknown Soundtracks, it was also played when Suika was able to see the sunflower clear, the Song isn't on the current Soundtrack Album as far as i know. The only one that sounds just a little bit similar is We Can Win

Indeed, they are not blood related as well the gap in their age and blood duration has changed, senku himself stated it, but incest still applies on the rest of the village because at the start they were 6 people and so they have mixed their families, which means any sex they had with eachother most generations is incest
