Growing up i was huggggee into metallica. I loved metal but I was so new to it. My brother always talked about megadeth and I just wasn't ready to listen. He sad me down one night and showed me this...I never looked back. The level of metal my soul needed matched with Megadeth
If only Mustaine had a better voice or less at least less voice problems. This is one of his better signings. Hetfield has more power in his voice. For the rest, I prefer I prefer Megadeth.

However, anyone having any kind of drum knowledge and ability to hear subtle differences in playing can tell that Jimmy DeGrasso is LIGHT YEARS ahead of Menza in terms of groove, phrasing, tone. DeGrasso is a way more suitable drummer for Megadeth, has the same kind of fresh playing style Gar once had, while Menza was just... a drummer. Sorry for the unpopular opinion.

I feel lucky that the first time I listened to this song, it was this performance and then the studio recording. One of my best childhood memories, listening to this performance.
It's actually a pattern that Dave uses a lot and does it really well I might add. You can hear a similar pattern too in Kick the chair when the solo starts.
