    Just a hint if you put a broad strip if foil or parchment paper under the dish about 12 to 15 inches long it will help you lift your dishes in and out of the Ninja.😊😊

    A slightly solid rice pud can be revived using evaporated milk and lots of it stirred in. Limit the butter and cream if using evap otherwise it’s too much for the arteries.

      Mine is supper easy and easier to clean too ! I hate cleaning big ovens , I would not be without my microwave but I only use it for certain things

      I find my air fryer easier than my normal oven. Much less mess and cleaning not to mention saving in energy. Only use the main oven for occasions like Christmas when the capacity is needed. I have a Cosori dual blaze which has a sizeable square basket and a heating element on top and bottom so no need for shaking or turning food. It can be used for making anything you would make in the oven. I have made a whole chicken, fantastic cheese scones, baked fish (and of course the chips!) It is much faster too. I thoroughly recommend them and this one in particular.

    Do you think grandad advised your grandson. To add a lovely compliment , so you make a few more of those rice puddings, hehe. In our case grandad would tell the grandchildren , tell Nan it’s lovely she will then do more often . Hehe. Mind you it did look, nice, I must say. Hehe

      Ha ha , my grandson Owen is so funny bless him he watches all the cooking shows , he loves food (eating it 😂) he spends two nights a week staying at our house to give his mum and dad a little break . He is severely austisic bless him , he is 6ft2in and has a mental age of about 9 or 10 the world makes no sense to him , we love him so much . As for rice pudding in our house those dishes are just not big enough 😂😂 they want a whole one each . I often make that as it is a really easy pudding to give him on an evening. My husband and Owen are the best of friends ❤️ xxx

    When and how much cream?

    • @cookingwithsusie
      @cookingwithsusie  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Kenneth , I usually add the cream just after the milk and it is choice as to how much really ! I usually add about a table spoon , there are no hard rules to this lots of people don’t add cream at all and others add more , experiment to find what you enjoy the most , do think though cream is quite thick and actually thickens things so if you add loads you will throw your dish out of balance . I also recommend using a foil sling. Makes things a lot easier to get your dishes out.

    • @cookingwithsusie
      @cookingwithsusie  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you , I have been using them and it works really well , apart from the first time when the foil gave way ! My own fault for not folding it enough . I am currently trying out some silicone baskets that sit in the pans and the glass dish can go in them , they have handles , I have used the a couple of times and not really sure I like them ! Brilliant video. Thank you. You cook like me, by rule of thumb. I would make a sling with foil to lift your dishes in and out of the tray. (That's a lot of wobbly fun!) 😆
