Bobtail I think is a reference to an animal with a docked tail representing the missing trailer and the way its backside bounces up and down when moving mimics the rear of the unit with no weight on.

Tim I do a fair bit of van driving often with a big trailer on the back, and whenever I see lane hoggers it really frustrates me as well! People need to learn how to drive on motorways!

Oh also there should be a light switch for the trailer on the outside near the handle for the trailer airbags! If not they’ll come on with the sidelights

Oh dear trucker Timbo. I once had an extended nap on a bay behind shops, woke up an hour and a half later to find myself blocked in by a truck being handballed off🤦♂️ served me right but I did feel refreshed

The trailer at 20.03 is a Skelly for containers which normally range from 20ft to 45ft

When you went down the M56 you were about 1 mile from my house and you will have went past my horse in his field along the 56, just before the Stretton/Appleton Junction (after the roadworks) - If I’d have known you’re about I’d have cracked the CB radio out and had a chat! I always leave my reflective tabard on because of the road and street work act I think it was brought in 84 any person working within 2 mgrs of the highway must wear reflective clothing, you can wear armless up to 30mph speed limit and over that arms must also have a reflective covering, so rather than ponce about taking it of and on especially if you have a emergency and have to jump out, doing containers there’s not many places you can stretch and shrink the trailer off road, so just keep it on, it’s not about looking a twat more about something that could save your life

Tim Like the new trailer looks Tidy....suggestion for you re the CB Antenna.. if you were to move it over to Drivers side of cab it will hit less trees..

Have you read up on if the blue lights in your cab window are legal because everything I have read seems to point to them being ilegal, so there is no confusion with emergency vehicles. I remember there was a crackdown by the police years ago when cars started putting blue lights on the windscreen washers on the bonnet, or in the side lights. I wonder if truckers are going to start getting pulled over now they are becoming more fashionable?

You were in my neck of the woods in Trafford Park, the woodhead pass is a lovely drive, although in winter it’s either a nightmare or closed. Another great video Tim, keep up the good work 😀👍🏻
Hi mate them box trailers they came from clipper logistics from Westwood I used to plan them box vans obviously they have been refurbed but that’s where they came from same colour wheel hubs and chassis. So when I see it it’ll be weird to see it, great vlog and hope the info helps

Quick tip - move the CB aerial to the drivers side of the truck, to avoid tree canopy's.. Making the aerial shorter will shorten the range distance.. :)
