    The chickpea chronicles... it’s been entertaining to watch the progress. Lol kyuho should do more random food buys to see where it leads. Maybe kyuho’s spin off of a French onion soup or pasta salad or chicken salad sandwich. This of course only works if you’ve tried and like this type of food. All are my favorites that I can eat always. Oh maybe recreate your favorite burger and fries?!

    This salad looks delicious! I’m going to try it this week. A little tip on quinoa, you can add chicken/vegetable stock to flavor it. So, instead of plain water use broth instead. Also, you can eat it for breakfast, kind of like an oatmeal, by adding raisins, apples, cinnamon, nuts...basically whatever you like in your oatmeal. I like to cook the raisins and apples with the quinoa. It’s very yummy!

    • @2hearts1seoul
      @2hearts1seoul  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We’d love to add the stock to it like that, but it’s very hard to find or very expensive in Korea 😭 But never heard of eating for breakfast-will have to try that 😮

    Tried my best to recreate this! After this, I had a better understanding of what I like and don't like. The chicken was amazing! I used a chicken breast and cooked it in my oven at 400 degrees F for 20 mins. It came out super juicy! I probably won't try the dressing again, not a super fan of it (but everyone's tastebuds are different ofc!) and would just use the balsamic vinegar. I also had premade hummus on hand. Overall, would eat this again with my own adjustments :)

    * Gotta check your quinoa! Label may say wether or not it has been rinsed. There is a natural film the grain has to prevent from being eaten :-) that should be rinsed to prevent from being bitter (similar to a quick rinse of rice to remove starch until water runs clear.) Great recipe - thanks for sharing!

    • @ljcl1859
      @ljcl1859 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually, that is the North American pronunciation. Quinoa is from South America, the language of the Quechua people (where it originated) and the Spanish pronunciations are different. Which I think sounds very much like how Kyuho pronounced it. Pronounced in three syllables. Here is an article for your reference, if you or anyone else are interested. www.aukihenry.com/2015/02/how-do-you-pronounce-quinoa.html
