In fact more than fine, it’s been great - so so yummy and feels amazing to join in not only with my family but with the culture. If anyone is reading this, recovery is so worth it

I'm from the Netherlands, and we also have poffertjes (tiny pancakes) or dutch pancakes for breakfast (or lunch) with stroop (dutch syrup) or/and powdered sugar !! If you'll ever do a part 2 of this type of video, include the Netherlands again, because bread with hagelslag is so plain and simple, bad example of the goodies we actually have here. Or try rounded rusk with butter and gouda cheese, that's 100% dutch standards, and something else typically dutch is rusk with butter and ''muisjes'', it's like white and blue or white and pink tiny rounds made from anise. Usually eaten to celebrate a child's gender (blue for male, pink for female). *Aside from our dish, it's common to have buttermilk, milk, coffee, orange juice or tea or yogurt drinks!
hahahah noo i love love dutch pancakes & stroop (i’ve had before when i was in the netherlands) 🤍 i think hagelslag was just the absolute top commented breakfast idea overall so i had to do it 🫶🏻 thanks for all the recommendations though i will have to try some of these!!
@@millyisliving You're so right about the topping choice, I honestly prefer hagelslag on rusk or crackers though, something about it is just so good and whenever I have one cracker with hagelslag I just make another and another until I nearly run out of crackers 😭 ... One time that happened when I stayed over a couple of nights at my grandma and she did not like when I ran out of her crackers whoops... Grandma has the best crackers though 😀👍
hungarian breakfast: cigarettes+coffee version 2: szalonna (hungarian bacon) with bread, hardboiled eggs, spicy pepper and tomato/bread with fat spread and onions!(my childhood fave was duck fast, its so much better than pig and goes well with paprika powder
Woooow everything looked absolutely amazing and you'll definitely have to do a part 2 for this!! Maybe even with desserts or dinners? Poland could be really fun and Turkey or Greece too! Loved the video
So for the hong kong breakfast.. congee is almost a porridge like consistency lol, it's supposed to be soupy almost, and gyoza is generally fried and there is no need to keep the lid on :)
