Timely for me. I'm in a situation where I'm on the other side of the world cohabitating with some family and friends due to a death, and I'm discovering that some of these people are very difficult to be around. I consider my reactivity as authenticity. I appreciate hearing your message.
So beautifully timed video! I was kinda stuck in that loop with that subtil thought saying "oh god there is so much that I need to do before it's done!" but there is nothing to be done lol Thank you!
Do we really want to realize that we are consciousness, or do we actually want our hearts to feel free? Because I was becoming aware that this "me" is not really who I am, but there was still this experience of a traumatized body. So, I started to put awareness in the region of my heart, which healed it, and then I found out that this was what I actually wanted. I wonder what you think about that. Free heart or free awareness? Or are both the same?
Hi there! I definitely don't see it as an "either/or" situation. On the contrary, in my view awakening by necessity has to include the body. If the body is not included that would mean that we have subtly turned awareness into a trascendent object which is somehow separate from the body. It is not possible for awareness to shut itself off from anything, including a seemingly troubled body. Furthermore, when we are "aware from awareness" we can engage the relative work of healing the body and mind with a profoundly different capacity of love and equanimity.
Yes you make very good points. Seems like a very important principle we should keep in mind.
This is GOLD, Sam! ❤
