      How about, "Surgically applied water," instead of "knuckle dragging, fountain statue water squirting?" How much water does one spot need before it stops burning?

    Fact!! You would be surprised that the deck gun is the most unused and neglected piece of equipment with fire departments. Fortunately, not for this particular fire department.

    In this video the "deck gun" has done nothing of note. The title belongs on a video that shows the deck gun knocking a raging fire down rather than flooding a garage as in this video. Before this video even showed the place where the fire was it was already knocked down. So deck gun is inconclusive based upon this video.

    Nice video coverage! I'd imagined looking at what was left of the house the fire department was already being the 8 ball on saving it and went to a quick defensive attack with the master stream from the aerial knocking down the bulk of the fire and used the deck gun to finish the hot spots during overhauling.

    The House Will Torn Down Not Safe To Keep Up Tear Down & Rebuild The House If The Owners Have Insurance On The House Get Another House At Another Location

    • @forbeshutton5487
      @forbeshutton5487 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That house will have been build entirely of wood, then the brick added purely for decoration. All that does is make it harder for the FD to get water on what's burning. Most are under the impression that the FD will save a house, but they are so flammable that it's already to late by the time they get there, they are there to try and get anyone out still inside and keep the flames from jumping to the next house (beware of buying semi-detached and townhouses...). If your house catches fire get yourself, the kids and the pets OUT. If there's time consider getting the wife out too.

      @@greyman686 Ahh yes! I keep forgetting just how backwards America is, not having a National Fire Service, just individual State/ County Fire Service all operating under there own practices rather than under a State wide single standard. Big has got to be better! From all the video's I have seen Ladder trucks are just a waste of time, money and space, especially on the fire scene. Bucket trucks smaller, more compact, and very useful, and more effective than those huge ladder trucks.
      Like in the video that pumper done all the work, the ladder truck just blocking the street waste of resources not needed, but I suppose you have the WOW factor! we have a big ladder truck!
      I have seen video's of big ladder trucks being sent to car crashes. why? what is there purpose? that is backwards thinking, but there again this is America.

    More departments need to use their deck guns more on larger infernos, instead of "playing" with the 1.75 lines. The problem is most volleys are to out of shape to climb on top of the engine to get to the gun.

      Ontario Building Code was amended some time ago to require a 220 Volt outlet in a garage to accommodate electric vehicle charging.
      It did not, however, mandate improvements in garage fire resistance to protect the home from electric vehicle charging.
