I haven't played as many games with scream as you have but my deck was very similar. I really liked nega sonic in there. She limited my opponent's lane options so I was able to predict where they would play a lot better.

But I do know that a lot of content creators can write off purchases they make in games they do content for. It's a business expense so it is something they can post against their taxes. Definitely makes it a more financially viable situation when making in app purchases to attain cards for content. That being said, I don't have to spend much and I am able to keep up with most of the new cards, so it is reasonable to believe someone playing from day one wouldn't have to spend a lot either. I only usually get the monthly pass and have been playing since just over a year and I have all but 11 or 12 cards.
Those number are insane. When Scream is a 2/8 she is essentially a 2/14 counting affliction. Hot take? Better than Thena in current meta with how clog is still top tier
She isn’t as easy to pull off as thena. I have both. Don’t think either are nuts. (Saying thena nerf did nothing is an overstatement) great cards, neither necessary imo (unless it fits the archetype you love)
You are ignoring the fact that you have to play bad cards to get to that 2/14. It's like saying, wow, Deadpool is a 1/32. That's the best card in the game by a landslide.
One of the things I love about resetting every season is I get to try fun decks like this without worrying about the infinite sweatiness. This deck is absolutely fun, especially with a potential clog play that mirrors the old days of cannon-prof. Great brew, Alex sir!
It seems like a very fun card based on the gameplay, but unfortunately I need to save the keys for next week as I'm missing War Machine and Namora plus the roadmap for November is soooo good I might skip the whole month this month in terms of keys which is sad as I was hyped for Venom season. I fear this sentiment is shared by a lot of Snappers, and it takes away from the fun of the game, especially if you hit that new card on your 4th try and see the next few great cards pass you by as you struggle to get some keys (having enough tokens to buy more than 1 card every 3-4 months is a fantasy at this point...) My heart goes out to all the F2P players, as I do buy the season pass every month, and even with that I'm not able to get half the cards that come out.
Damn I had Scream all wrong and was wondering why everyone was high on her. I thought she was like Kraven or Kingpin and only stole from the lane shes in. Buts it’s anywhere on the board. I’m now a lot more tempted to get her, especially since she makes you use cards like Aero and Polaris. Going to need to think on this.
Yeah, the problem is she does what they do, but without their stipulation. It's why they can feel clunky. At least Kraven. Kingpin at 1 cost is fine being limited to only cards moving into it's lane. But Kraven at 2 cost just feels so bad. Cause again, Scream grows in power without the stipulation of cards needing to moved to her location. But it's even better cause she is stealing from your opponent. So it makes Kraven feel weird. I still run Kraven, cause you're not always going to see Scream and Kingpin, so if you don't draw them your deck is just standing there with it's wang in it's hand.
glad i saved 4 keys for this week because kingpin is one of my fav cards and i ended up pulling this one on the fourth try. Luckily i like man thing, didn't have mmm, and my 4th was miek and i'm a fan of discard too. not a terrible way to spend 4 keys
Honestly shes really fun! My biggest issue is that the anti move decks are just not fun when Kingpin, Kraven, and Scream show up really late. The deck is a few buffs short of being great.

People hate when you snap on Turn 6, but honestly I think of it the same way I do in Poker. If I think I can extract the most value from the opponent on the River card, then that's when I am putting my chips in. Turn 6 is the River + Showdown in poker.
Snapping on 6 is potentially less cubes than not snapping at all. If you're obviously winning, a snap forces even the most clueless opponents to retreat.

This means a situation where the opponent thinks they are in the lead and can't really see how I could win in the end. Same way as in poker, you have disguised your hand well enough on the previous turns. If I don't think I can get extra value there then yes, I will not snap. But people just outright hate the play all together. There was one dude who's username was TURN6SNAP=LAME.

I had one key for this week and already have Mobius and Man-Thing on my collection, somehow I got Scream, I've had to spend 4 keys to get the new card so many times, this was quite the surprise, I'm so happy I can finally play Polaris and Spider-Man again.
Damn Scream is one of my fav. Cards. I love her I never got a good "move enemy" deck but with scream its just insane and funny af. As a junk/toxic/negative power enjoyer this new Archetype is just balling
When hela hit the meta hard last time, I was playing Alioth when he was a 6-8. Then he got buffed. I mean that’s my favorite 1% card in the game. Almost nobody was playing it post nerf.

As long as move resolves after this kind of deck will probably always feel bad. Kingpin and kraven make it too previsible. But advantage of scream is at least her effect happens no matter the position.
Something that makes the card way better which I hadn't realised is that you don't have to move cards into Scream's lane for her effect to trigger (unlike Kingpin or Kraven) I really want her but I don't have the keys 😢
You gotta respect Scream for reviving a lot of old unused card like how High Evo did when he first launch and I have to admit, SD outdid themselves this time and a bit sneaky to be hiding her behind 2 lack luster cards in the spotlight.
Man, this card seems pretty fun but I only have 3 keys and 7900 tokkens. Will have to lay low this week unless she somehow overperforms in her archetype (which I doubt). Great video as always!
Long write up incoming: Shes great if you consider the affliction since shes effectively putting a +4 power difference on each move (-2 for the +2 for you) and what's nice about her vs every other "Steal power" card we have? Shes the only one that does it to a card in play. Cassandra and SilverSable gets the + power but only gets the + power from the afflicted cards *if they play it*. I've been climbing using her in a deck with Storm. Basically putting Kingpin, Scream, and Storm in one lane then using cards like Arana (+ power and move right is always strong imo), Jeff, Polaris, Jugg, Polaris, Spider-man, Stegron, Symbiote Spider-man, Aero, and Magneto. Symbiote can be War Machine. Jeff can be White Widow. Arana can be Ghost Spider. I've always liked this type of control deck where I lockdown a lane then move their cards around to disrupt play. The only issue was that there weren't a lot of things that supported it. I felt like anytime I ended a turn with Jugg or Stegron etc I would always move it into the Storm lane and I end up losing it by a few points. Having both Kingpin and Scream now feels much better. Kraven used to fill that spot but the issue I had with Kraven was that he was only good if I could play it in Storms lane. If I pulled him on a later turn? I didn't get huge benefits from him. Scream on the other hand is board wide. Activates once but including the negative power? That's the same as 2 cards moving into Kravens lane and being able to consistently get that power is better than Kraven. tldr: Shes essentially a better version of Kraven that can fit in a control/lockdown deck. Not being Ongoing or Onreveal also makes her only counter Red Guardian which is nice. Not that I'm telling you you need to get her but from my experience she fills very good to use even with her current supporting cast.

I still haven't fully decided how I'll handle my resources, but she's still on the crosshair, I'll make a choice on the weekend.
Win rate numbers are obviously inflated cause of all the early season bots. But I do think the card is pretty solid. It won't be a meta shaker, but it finally adds some power to the force move archetype. Or whatever you want to call it. Lol. But now Kingpin has a running mate to help do what the archetype wants to do. I am also still a Kraven believer. If this deck doesn't see Scream or Kingpin, you need something benefiting from your Spider-man, Polaris, Stegron moves. I was running a 70% win rate with Kraven in the deck. He was crucial for the times the draw gods wanted to clap my cheeks. The biggest thing with the archetype is it's fun to play. So there is that.
The issue with this deck is that the supporting cards really don't do much if you don't draw Scream. The win condition is basically get Scream early or else scam wins with Alioth. I do like the disruption aspect of moving your opponents cards around tho.
Getting sooo frustrated with the the current spotlight acquisition system. I just used 3 keys trying to get Scream. 2 keys wasted on variants I don't even want and the other on tokens. So that's me not able to get any more cards for about 3 weeks now because I'll need to save. The last card I went for cost me 3 keys as well, thats a lot of skipped weeks! When you pair that with having to buy the pass every month just to get the newest fomo card, I don't know why I bother with this game when it's impossible to keep up without spending big money. Sad really, I've played every day since launch, I'm very active and have bought the pass every month. Yet, I'm still fallen behind week by week. Without new cards, the game begins to feel very stale quickly. I hope SD start making some changes because I don't think players are going to stick around, like a couple of my friends that quit months ago. I think SD needs to allow active players to earn a key each week. Either that or remove the variants that are used as filler and often aren't the greatest cards anyway.

It sucks so bad that they made the spotlight cache so weak. I really wanted to play around with Scream, but I already have both Man-Thing and Mobius and I don't even like the variants in the cache. If it was a couple of other series 5 cards I might have rolled, but now since I don't have 6k tokens I think I'm just going to wait, pin her in my shop, then use the High Voltage rewards to push me up to 6k and buy her outright. All because of an incredibly poor cache lineup.
I'm 17-0 with my version of scream deck. It's so much fun to be able to play a different style of move. I am only at rank 50 though and have a couple lucky wins
do we think this kind of move deck stays relevant in the future? i dont see scream being played anywhere but exactly this deck. 6k is just so much, otherwise it would be a no brainer because she seems fun for sure
From my impression, shes a good card in a bad deck. But if the deck gets a buff or another supporter card here or there, its very possible this becomes a high tier deck.
I want scream but i got no tokens and i already got man thing and Mobius and personally the variants are very underwhelming, im probably gonna save keys this entire month as the other new cards dont blow my mind
I used tokens to get scream. I’m glad you’re not holding back on how awful second dinner is by being so stingy with these spotlights. Theirs definitely enough cards in the collection to be more giving with card accusations.
I like scream, but I don't really like agent venom as much. It's an okay card but, it doesn't really feel as interesting as scream. I've been trying a scream clog deck and I'm already up to infinite.
I was very excited for scream but she is on of th first cards that I got day one, that just feels to weak and the deck she has to be in can't compete with other decks. If you don't have her on turn 2 you basically lose. She is fun but not enough imo.

October is very skippable outside of Namora/War Machine week. But the new card in that week looks weak. So even that week can maybe be skippable. Lol.
The card acquisition model in the game is utter shit even with the season pass. It's sad but true.

the pandart variants this month are so good! their art is always great, but this month is way better than the past ones imo

If it was a couple of other series 5 cards I might have rolled, but now since I don't have 6k tokens I think I'm just going to wait, pin her in my shop, then use the High Voltage rewards to push me up to 6k and buy her outright. All because of an incredibly poor cache lineup.

do we think this kind of move deck stays relevant in the future? i dont see scream being played anywhere but exactly this deck. 6k is just so much, otherwise it would be a no brainer because she seems fun for sure
My big question is: I have 6000 tokens. Do I get Scream or Wiccan? Thought I was going for Wiccan for sure, but Scream seems great.
Only problem with Scream is she's glued to the bottom of my deck. I played like a dozen games with her and only got to play her twice.

I think she's kinda a more niche but higher power collector
From my impression, shes a good card in a bad deck. But if the deck gets a buff or another supporter card here or there, its very possible this becomes a high tier deck.
I want scream but i got no tokens and i already got man thing and Mobius and personally the variants are very underwhelming, im probably gonna save keys this entire month as the other new cards dont blow my mind

I used tokens to get scream. I’m glad you’re not holding back on how awful second dinner is by being so stingy with these spotlights. Theirs definitely enough cards in the collection to be more giving with card accusations.

I like scream, but I don't really like agent venom as much. It's an okay card but, it doesn't really feel as interesting as scream. I've been trying a scream clog deck and I'm already up to infinite.
Anything has to be better than Scarlet Spider.

I was very excited for scream but she is on of th first cards that I got day one, that just feels to weak and the deck she has to be in can't compete with other decks. If you don't have her on turn 2 you basically lose. She is fun but not enough imo.
