Hybe isn't perfect. For the last 2 years ARMY many times had to tag them on multiple platforms to move and protect BTS members, call them out for their messed up work or lack of promotions and multiple other things. Other fandoms like MOA and Engenes did this too - often when it comes to safety of artist in public places... BUT!!! The situation with workplace bullying that Hanni was coming out was sheaky from the start. 1) The situation happened when MHJ was CEO of Ador, why Hanni didn't bring it up to her but to new CEO few monts later? 2) Where are solid proofs of "mistreatment? CCTV show nothing of it. And she was telling thai specific story all the time. She didn't bring up any other situations. 3) If she wanted to go to National Asembly why she didn't bring any proof there? Also she should learn about workers laws before cause it was later revealed that she, as a kpop idol, is not subject to the laws that cover regular “9-5” employees, but is subject to the laws that apply to people in the entertainment industry 4) If the mistreatment was so sevire why Hanni didn't go to court to file injunction to end her contract? And BTW her mistreatment claims was nothing in comparison to real mistreatment that some idols have to deal with like Loona, Omega X or Gaun from MAIDEN. No one thinks Bang PD is some hero. I think Hybe does a better job than other companies, but in the end, it is a company. Normally, I'd support the artist, but with NJ, it's hard because of all the stunts they have pulled with MHJ. And let's be real. What's described isn't bullying, even if it did happen. If this is honestly the worst they've got, it's pretty pathetic and shows how well Hybe treats artists comparatively to other places like SM. It's literally she said she/he said because what evidence there is doesn't back NJ claims. And there's also the argument to be made on whether the artist or a manager/employee would have the upper hand, which is why artists aren't considered employees. I think there should be more protections for all involved, right message, wrong messenger.
I have seen many people say that the manager would be in a lower position than an idol. The idol would have a better chance at winning if things were really bad at a company. You’d think it wouldn’t be the case tho.
What I don't like is when people take one isolated incident and make it seem like it's the widespread norm. 1. V mentioned he encountered bang PD during trainee days and he didn't remember his name. 1 incident, we can't conclude he didn't know any the members name when there were over 30 trainees at the time. 2. The "ignore her" incident (there is no proof) is only one isolated encounter with one manager on one day. We cannot conclude everybody was doing that and classify it as workplace harassment. He also taught them to work out their differences, no one was allowed to leave angry but had to sort out the issues. I'm an old Army not only in age but as a fan and have see the episode where Taehyung joked with Bang PD on this. This is wasn't just a marketing strategy BUT also to stop Taehyung from being poached by other agencies at that time. Taehyung did find this time difficult only because he wanted to interact as other members did, BUT in that even though his diary recordings were not released pre-debut in did participate in recording some which were released post debut, as were training etc in which he was part off. Taehyung has also mentioned numerous times he understood why he was the secret member. But as usual there are some solo stans that twist what Taehyung has said to fit their own beliefs and narrative of what happened.

Add some context: 1. What she meant in the video was V. But this incident happened when it was still training period. V also once said that he was initially sad when a trainee left, but as time went on, more and more trainees came in and out, he doesn't feel sad anymore (u quiz on the block). So, it kinda understandable why bpd himself can't recognize constantly changing 30+ trainees. 2. Even if its true that bpd did not recognize Hanni, it cannot be classified to be workplace harassment. 3. In 2023 bpd said in an interview with cnn that he met one of hybe's artists but he was not recognized. This is a cold hard business, just like any other corporation. There is no room for emotions in business. Idols are an investment. I have seen figures up to USD100k to train per person per year, so you can imagine the amount for a 5 person group which may take years to debut! That is why If I was a Hybe shareholder I would b livid to see NJs get paid so large a bonus so soon especially when it has been shown that Ador contributed single digit percentages to their bottom line. (But I have a theory for that). As a trainee one gets offered a contract. One has to weigh the risks versus the rewards. We are not privy to the terms of said contact so we can't say what might be deemed fair or unfair. But obviously it's worth the toil because they signed on for the long term. My only beef is the signing n treatment of minors, but that's another can of worms. However I will say that minors in other areas is nothing new, look at Olympic athletes especially gymnasts, who train for hours daily, for years, and they start before they r even teens. The only thing I will say about the ignoring issue is that it's rubbish.

What I don't like is when people take one isolated incident and make it seem like it's the widespread norm.
1. V mentioned he encountered bang PD during trainee days and he didn't remember his name. 1 incident, we can't conclude he didn't know any the members name when there were over 30 trainees at the time.
2. The "ignore her" incident (there is no proof) is only one isolated encounter with one manager on one day. We cannot conclude everybody was doing that and classify it as workplace harassment.
Let's just stick to the facts as they have been presented to us.

When Taehyung mentioned Bang PD not knowing his name he did so in a joking way as it was actually tounge in cheek reference to when Taehyung was the secret member as Bang PD would not release his name, Bang knew all the members and interacted with them, the members have always held Bang PD with respect & pride, especially as when BigHit was facing bankruptcy Bang PD invested his own money into the Company and into BTS as he believed in them & their talent. He also taught them to work out their differences, no one was allowed to leave angry but had to sort out the issues.
I'm an old Army not only in age but as a fan and have see the episode where Taehyung joked with Bang PD on this. This is wasn't just a marketing strategy BUT also to stop Taehyung from being poached by other agencies at that time. Taehyung did find this time difficult only because he wanted to interact as other members did, BUT in that even though his diary recordings were not released pre-debut in did participate in recording some which were released post debut, as were training etc in which he was part off. Taehyung has also mentioned numerous times he understood why he was the secret member. But as usual there are some solo stans that twist what Taehyung has said to fit their own beliefs and narrative of what happened.

Add some context:
1. What she meant in the video was V. But this incident happened when it was still training period. V also once said that he was initially sad when a trainee left, but as time went on, more and more trainees came in and out, he doesn't feel sad anymore (u quiz on the block). So, it kinda understandable why bpd himself can't recognize constantly changing 30+ trainees.
2. Even if its true that bpd did not recognize Hanni, it cannot be classified to be workplace harassment.
3. In 2023 bpd said in an interview with cnn that he met one of hybe's artists but he was not recognized. Don't know who he's referring to, but this whole thing about who doesn't know who is hilarious to me.
HYBE is a firm not more not less! But, it is well known that this firm tries to treat their employees better than the other music firms like sm…, there were times when they had so many candidacies, it was too much! Bang Si-hyuk tries to learn of his faults but the money side must be alright too. He stepped back as a CEO years ago and makes what he likes to do and of course he‘s got his hands in the evident things of HYBE. It is known because of the experience with Kim Tae-hyung that he suffers from face blindness! I bet that MHJ knows this very well and exploited her „daughters“ in her sense! He even said in the one show where Katseye was created that he didn't remember any names until BTS, where on earth did she get that idea from that she seriously thinks she can sue Hybe for bullying and harassment and say they treated me so badly. He certainly did things that weren't right but all NJ members were spoiled from the start and therefore think they are his princesses and have to be treated the same way or they'll cause trouble.
It was ridiculous that the National Assembly made this a huge deal with Hanni (but didn’t make it a huge deal when it came to the company who had people actually die) when she provided zero actual evidence but most importantly when they knew they could not do anything for her or any other idol given how the law is. And it’s beyond disgusting how the National Assembly used the death of someone to attack hybe in general. To assume a cover up because hybe - an entertainment company - didn’t get an autopsy for someone they had zero right to get an autopsy for?????? That’s ALWAYS the family’s decision, not the company they work for. This is a cold hard business, just like any other corporation. There is no room for emotions in business. Idols are an investment. I have seen figures up to USD100k to train per person per year, so you can imagine the amount for a 5 person group which may take years to debut!
That is why If I was a Hybe shareholder I would b livid to see NJs get paid so large a bonus so soon especially when it has been shown that Ador contributed single digit percentages to their bottom line. (But I have a theory for that).
As a trainee one gets offered a contract. One has to weigh the risks versus the rewards. We are not privy to the terms of said contact so we can't say what might be deemed fair or unfair. But obviously it's worth the toil because they signed on for the long term. My only beef is the signing n treatment of minors, but that's another can of worms. However I will say that minors in other areas is nothing new, look at Olympic athletes especially gymnasts, who train for hours daily, for years, and they start before they r even teens.
The only thing I will say about the ignoring issue is that it's rubbish.

Now let's be honest, the whole thing is only so charged because the whole drama was shown so publicly and exploited. Who knows what kind of nonsense this witch has put into the kids' heads all these years. I certainly don't want to completely defend NJ because at least at a certain point they have to be old enough to see what exactly is happening BUT at the same time I can't rule out how brainwashed these kids are. And yes, I say children, because from the beginning they were under this woman's influence. Some people seem to forget this quickly.
