I am a 28 year old woman who has no need to know how to restore quality shoes... And here I am bingeing these videos when I should be sleeping. Fabulous collab. Love seeing the talent and passion you guys put in to your craft.
Agreed! As a 36 year old woman with big feet, I have found that men’s shoes such as these actually fit my foot better than women’s shoes. I’m able to wear oxfords all day with comfort and to know I can keep my shoes for years to come once I find a good fit.
Since corvid lock downs. I watched the elegant Oxford, Kirby Allison, and Trenton and Heath.
I am not a shoe guy but these channels help me relax at night before bed. So thank you all.

In our small town we have a shoe repair shop, the gentleman that has been the owner and cobbler thru the men in his family and is the last in his family and I hate to see it go when he decides to retire. He has the coolest old machines. He always resole our cowboy boots and fixed saddle pieces. It really is a dying art. Love your channel.

As a faithful subscriber and commenter of the Elegant Oxford, I must say that this is a good video. Right down to fixing the shoe and demonstrating hands on skills. It shows passion for good quality work, plus a refine, yet simple method of bringing life a pair of tired shoes. Just like Mr. Soto, Trenton and Heath are reviving the old tradition of elegance, that starts with good shoes as a statement of fine dressing. I am not too far away, so I may have to stop by a check them out personally; meanwhile, keep watching this two gentlemen. They do great work and seem to care about their product. Nice thing y'all are doing I appreciate your work. Had a great shoe cobbler in Chattanooga Tn when I lived them in 1980-83. Haven't found anyone as good since. Keep the craft moving forward. It's respected.

I have to admit, the Elegant Oxford has some magic hands for refurbishing and shining shoes....no one does the toe shine like this guy....
We have to agree...which is why we asked him to do the uppers on this pair. :) Giving shoes beautiful soles/heels is what we do best.

Really admire the craftsmanship. I recently purchased a pair of tailor-made shoes and I have now become a convert. In a world full of cheap mass produced crap it's good to see someone making high quality items built to last.
Ahhh...that's music to our ears! One of the reasons we started this channel was to help folks understand that buying better quality shoes and taking care of them is so much better than buying cheap, mass produced junk. We appreciate your good taste in nice shoes AND for taking the time to watch our video!

Awesome work. With everything being made as throw away items these days, I never really thought about cobblers and extreme shoe makeovers.
Fascinating to watch skilled craftsmen. Watching in Scotland. It would be interesting to have a look outside and see what Nashville looks like. Your accents sound a little bit English. I actually wear inexpensive desert boots with an extra-wide toe area. To my mind your videos are far better than the expensive and mannered programmes that the BBC produces.

Seriously, if I could have afforded it (the Australian dollar is woeful compared the the $US), I would have purchased these shoes, put them in a glass display case with the soles facing outwards, and mounted them on the wall.
