With 3.23 on the horizon for Star Citizen i wanted to consolidate and share my thoughts on the some excellent game changing features. This year will be a strong start for the game with so many QOL improvements along with persistent hangars and underground facilities , life as a citizen is surely going to get better! But what do you guys think about all the new features? Are they game changers? As always let me know down below!! Id appreciate a thumbs up if you enjoyed this vid!
A thought on this new thing with cargo... The year is 2954 and we still have to manually fill and empty our ships using a tractor beam? It's something that the year 2954 should be done by drones.
I'm super excited for cargo elevators and personal hangars mainly from a industrial player point of view. It would be kinda cool to just stockpile a bunch of RMC/CM or make a stockpile of cargo as they are re-stocked so I can save myself the trouble of going to a TDD only once.
Hey, if you can "tracktor beam" ships intonyour hangar, that also means you can have personal projects like fixing a broken ship up and then using it. Later on when we hlget engineering and can craft ships, i bet we will get an option to "claim" recks, and use them as our own , but you problably cant insure them. And personal hangars also alow you to steal ships and leave them in your hangar with cargo. So start a collection of pirated ships !
Great Video😆, Pyro my favorite gaming subject. This is where the separation of people begins. What I mean by that is Faction will be everything, from where you sell, get fuel and so on. Players will gravitate to factions that suit their style of game play. Multi Crew ships will be a must and lots of us will be looking for crews, so rep yet again will be important. Your Faction is the only back up you are going to have in Pyro so choose wisely
You mention ships with problems loading and unloading: You forgot the Reclaimer- if you have to unload that thing by hand, you're going to be screwed unless they reconfigure some things. Aslso- you make the run to Pyro with a high-enough reward, then there will be us smuggler types who try to get stuff past them.
I like that they came out with the law system, so there is gameplay for everyone. Finally some form of hangar, life improvements" Carrack pods, FPS, eva, sick moves, wish they implement a mellee combat system that is not to automatic (like bannerlord or chiv2) I wish they made a clutch system in the land vehicles, so u can gear up or shift down (so it becomes a professionality as wel) To the Rover Riksja! Its cool that you cover this always good to see you. o7
Thank you for your tour of the facility overview. Also, as always, your opinions and 'theory crafting' is well placed and thought out and adds to the video being presented. o7 Another quick quib, agrred on the risk/reward regarding pirating, the stakes MUST fit the crimes committed, otherwise ti will turn into a gank-fest that will spiral out of control regardless of who is doing the regulating.
They are the same thing. You will have your own personal hangar, and all of your ships, cargo, weapons and equipment will be stored for you. Think of them as your personal base.
Love the content, Pin. Long time fan. I'm not sure about the bounty hunting the in re: Pirates have free reign. We do have a prison for pirates or players with CS that get killed. I get the step between apprehending a suspect and taking them to a processing facility is missing. But players do currently have mechanisms to counter piracy gameplay. In the same way that a legal player can run away from pirates and park in an Armistice zone, pirates have a refuge in GH currently. If one were to consider Pyro where there is no law, would one consider the same thing happening being an unfair advantage to Pirates? I don't think so, Rock up with a big enough crew and guns and you take them out. Personally, I think CIG should stay far away from policing intended emergent gameplay
Thanks It's not the piracy itself, I myself have dabbled in the past. The problem imo is the apprehension of pirates is a very different process. Pirates can attack anyone at will anywhere at any time with a pre existing CS and then simply dissappear which is fine. But bounty hunting can be very frustrating the marker is annoying and inaccurate. Also it forces bounty hunters to kill rather than arrest which I feel is a shame. As a pirateyou should be on the run all the time living that pirate life. Just not sat in grim hex enjoying a coffee ha ha ha. But no I don't want CIG to police it either, I want them to give those tools to the player. In terms of prison, pirates can spend all day breaking the law , and eventually when killed or caught can literally log out and let the timer run down depending on the jail time not quite a punishment in my eyes. Great thoughts Rupert thanks.
@Spaceman-PIN Fair. I get that. I also think that the "hunt" in bounty hunting should be the player triangulating the target location anda marker popping up when they are within 20km radius, I fully agree that there should be a real impact in terms of AUEC bounty being more for bringing in the target alive and reputation consequences for pirates that operate in protected space. I look forward to the negotiations happening with Bounty hunters and captured pirates ("Hey man, i'll pay you x if you dont hand me in") If I had to imagine what my wishlist would be, it would have more random NPC encounters with law enforcement (as well as the player bounty hunters).
@rupert456 exactly those kind of player interactions would be great, bribing bounty hunters to turn a blind eye. And yes more effective NPCs would help.

The 960scu is the possinility to divide throuh 32scu boxes. You could stack 10 in a row 3times high for example...

100% ! freinds, allies, trade agreements all very important and equally scary for good measure lol

They need to rework mule. Make that truck bed into normal one and not upside down.

What s the diffrence between persistence and personal hangers? What is harder to implement?

Those underground facilities sure do seem like a huge waste of resources to create this game.
i disagree entirley, it ties multiple game loops and play styles together.
You should turn down the BGM it's really annoying.
my apologies, this is only my second time using this new editing software. i will make a note for the next vid.
This aint a patch its a fucking rework pretending to be a patch lol
