Thank you so much for the tutorial! I’ve subscribed-your content is amazing. I’m having an issue, though. When I try to remove the background of a dog photo from Pexels, I don’t see the 'Generate Background' option in the contextual bar. Instead, it says 'Subtract from Mask.' How can I find the 'Generate Background' tool? Thanks in advance!"
Hi Brendan, thanks for sharing this info. Is there a way to safe all generated images at one go? Meaning that if I generate in Beta, I need to safe them one by one. I will wait for the reply
Thanks Brendan. I like the expand feature of Ai but I don't know how to get a particular size for print once I expand the background. I end up losing the new expanded portion once I crop to a specifit size. Specially if I turn a landscape into a portrait
If I'm understanding correctly, I would suggest resizing the image to the required proportions first, then generate your AI expansions from there. That way they fill all the required area, which may not always be the case if you resize the AI expansions along with your image.

I have been experimenting quite a bit with this feature. It has been very frustrating that many of my background changes with a fully dressed (but attractive) female model are blocked. If with the same settings but a male model they go through. Is there a way around this? Never got ant input from Adobe. Any one else run into this problem.
I am a pensioners and I find paying $4 a week for my passion is nothing. Not even a coffee here in Oz. Seriously it's cheap. And Photoshop is brilliant.
@@garyguest1999 I hear your point but it is not just $4.6. / week. It is $240.00/ year (plus price increases ) into perpetuity. When I bought upgrades it was rarely needed to do so more frequently than every 2-3 years. So that would be me spending $240 and you spending $720. That is a major delta. However, if that works for you, that’s great.
As always thorough and so helpful!
Glad you thought so!
Great video! Love how you over simplify things so we can understand!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Excellent, clear, concise description of the new features. Thank you!

Thank you! Contextual background button removes too much of my image, Is there a way to redefine it? Ty
You could try the select subject cloud rendering. Otherwise you need to manually make the selection.

Is the photoshop AI aggregating from found images on the internet? How do you legally clear the images?
Why can't Adobe implement an AI that is smart enough to tell them that their subscription model will doom them?

I only pay 9.99 a month for LR and PS. I find it to be a bargain.
